Winter solstice - a special day, a special night. A day that invites us to close the past year and enter into a period of rest before the next year. The longest night of the year by the fire with good friends, that's how it was and that's how it should be again. With distance, vaccination, testing, beer and mulled wine, of course. Traditionally, last year's Christmas trees are burned and punk rock blares from the Bluetooth box. No, this is not a typical German custom and that's why I look forward to it every year.
