I'm watching "1984" from 1956. Even though I've seen the film several times, it always manages to captivate me. The film conveys very well the feeling of total surveillance and control. I hope that one day 2+2 will not be 5 because a ruling class wants it that way. That is worth fighting for. We have an #election on Sunday and I hope many people will take part and vote. Because we are not yet in a world like #1984.

Not seen that one. I have seen the later one which I believe was released in 1984 I disagree with the idea that we’re not in 1984 yet. We’ve been in 1984 since the 60s at least. It’s just that most people haven’t noticed which is exactly what 1984 was all about.
