Why aren't there dead animals lying around everywhere? Because nature takes care. Yes, I know, a dead earthworm eaten by ants is not exactly eye candy. But it also shows the cycle of life in this season of new beginnings. A paradox. We have the opportunity to make noise again and I can't think of anything better than dead earthworms. But never mind, tomorrow it will be more fun again, tomorrow there will be free games... 🎁

I shot several photos last year of a hawk eating a bird it killed just outside the living room window. Felt sorry for the bird, but a hawk's gotta eat. Cycle of nature and all that. Just like the cats, I hate it when they kill something, I do my best to let them know I do not approve, but they don't get 'in trouble' when they do because they are cats and cats will hunt.
That is exactly how it is. And as long as they don't dismember their prey on the sofa, that's perfectly ok. Great photo, it really seems to be a wild area when the hawk dares to come so close to the house.
That cycle of life keeps the earth from being polluted. Chernobyl is coming back to life thanks to this cycle. If man just let nature do what it’s designed to do then we wouldn’t be in this climate mess that we find ourselves in now.
I do not mind this post, in the end it is the normal cycle of life !! Good day
