Flies - very unpopular, nasty insects that can be incredibly annoying. But they can also be fascinating when you look at them up close. Unfortunately, they are very skittish, so I couldn't get that close and had to use the zoom. The picture is not as sharp as I would have liked. Still, a nice hunting success. In black and white they look even more like an alien.
