For as long as I can remember, we have had an illuminated paper star at Christmas time. Even though we are not religious people, this star simply belongs. After many, many years, the last star had become old and needed a replacement. My parents had very precise ideas about size, colours, lighting, material, etc. These stars are a regional speciality, handmade and it was not easy to get one just before Christmas. But finally I was able to order one and now it is there and lights up the house. As strange as it sounds, this is one of the greater joys for me this year.

Very nice. A very nice story. What's the star called? Surely it must have a name.
