Reminds me of almost having PTSD because of my last job's vehicles with half-dead batteries. We were constantly cautious not get a flat battery
This beastie has definitely made me very wary of "reliable" cars. Were your last jobs vehicles rarely driven?
No, contrary: we were on the road all the time. Or better say "on the shift" all the time. Because it was a traffic control company working 24 hours. Sometimes it was required to leave the electronic board signs mounted to vehicles on for the whole night etc.
Ahhh makes sense. I'm surprised they didn't have anything monitoring the battery to switch that stuff off once the battery drops past a certain voltage.
The only 'preventive' measure was to periodically turn on the engine, let it run for 10 minutes then turn off again, hahaha
