If you were to pay someone to pave your driveway and all they did was slap some tar on the ground and throw a few tonnes of gravel on top you'd ask for your money back. So why does the UK government keep accepting roads that look like a quarry entrance?

Because all too often government money is just a cash cow for corrupt folks. People has been misusing government funds ever since we've had governments. How to resolve this? Come up with a group of people who are more ethical than we are. People 2.0 ?
