Not what I was hoping it was. This code will take good old fashioned fault finding to fix. First step, clean the MAF and check the spark plugs for damage.

What exactly are you checking with this device?
Check engine light came on my cars dashboard. I could take it to a garage that charges £40 to diagnose it, or buy a £20 code reader and find out myself. My work car is very simple so I should be able to fix it myself.
