Had a bizarre situation with my energy provider recently. They messed up my account in a way that meant I literally couldn't pay my bill. They said to give them a few weeks to fix it. In the meanwhile they've sent debt collectors to my house. Tomorrow is going to be a very interesting phone call. I'll name and shame the company if they don't make things right.

Ouch, that is quite bad. Hopefully they can sort it out or at least suspend any debt.
Everything had been done over the phone until yesterday, now I have the situation in writing from them just in case we get another visit. (Which I've been assured won't happen) No actual harm done but it's extremely embarrassing for neighbours to see bailiffs at the door.
