“Commit thy works unto the LORD, And thy thoughts shall be established.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭3‬ ‭RV1895‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/1922/pro.16.3.RV1895 Today’s verse is one that can stop us and really make us think. But I guess that’s most of the Bible. Others versions translate this, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/111/pro.16.3.NIV Most of us get this verse backwards, or at least, we do or our planning first and then want the Lord to take care of the rest. But this Proverb tells us to commit what we have or what we are doing and let the Lord make the plan. Let’s remember to get this right. Or at least do our best to give to the Lord what we have and go according to His plans.
