Giving can at times be difficult for us because it’s easy to make judgements about others and their conditions. It easy to feel that “I’m being tricked” or “he is conning us”. This hasn’t changed since humans began walking the earth. There are those that will lie and cheat for money. There are those who will pretend to be needy. Today’s verse tells us not to think of that. Today’s verse tells us to give without thinking about it. If we are truly followers of Christ, we know that it’s not about $$. We know that everything we have is a gift from the Lord.
