Since returning from overseas I have been locked up in a quarantine hotel. Today is my last day before moving to a vacant building. More places to walk around but still isolated and can’t go out or see people

Well I’m back after a long break in America. I just finished two weeks quarantine. It was difficult so I didn’t feel like posting anything

Today in day care, we are making apple pie. Right now we are preparing the ingredients so the kids can just put them together

Such a rainy day, it’s perfect for family time. I treated everyone to some of Taiwan s bubble (boba) milk tea. I chose the smaller bubbles. My son got Yakut green tea. Anyone want some?

Thank you oh Lord, for such a wonderful meal with my family. We have pumpkin soup, braised pork, tofu, two kinds of rice, fried radish cake, and two leafy vegetables. All my noisecash family are invited.

This is a picture from my uncles house. He lives in eastern Oregon. There are very few people there and the air is clean. From his house, you can see about seven mountains … oh and wild deer walk through his property. I love it. What do you think?

We are getting ready to play basketball at our house. But my youngest wants a 3-point line. So we got some chalk and he’s drawing it on the concrete. Kind of a wobbly half circle. But it’s cute.

For my sons makeshift basketball court, he drew the golden state logo at the free throw line. I guess you can tell he loves the NBA

Wow! My son had a butterfly land on him. Then he put his finger out and the butterfly crawled on his finger. It was a little cold, so maybe the butterfly was looking for warmth. I don’t know. Anyway it was a real surprise.

Here’s a temple that we visited. It’s near my mother-in-law’s home. It’s interesting and beautiful, but for me there is too much pollution. There is always incense burning, firecracker going off, and ghost money being burnt. I have Athsma, so I have to take s my medicine before I visit. But it’s so beautiful that it’s worth it.

Today was lantern festival. This is the mark of the end of the Chinese New Year. We went to this temple to celebrate and eat some delicious street food outside the temple.

Cooking lunch for my mother-in-law. We are trying to get her to eat healthier. Less salt and fat. So we prepare extra vegetables, but she doesn’t like them because they don’t have salt. And suggestions?

Those of you who know they know how delicious this will be. Those that look and don’t know, there are radishes cut up and drying in the sun. These will later be really small and pickled. It’sa nice treat to any meal.

My wife and I love going to old temples. This one is very old and it’s an interesting design. It’s in the north of Taiwan. According to my friend it’s over 200 years old.

This was our dessert. It’s be really cold for Taiwan, 6c. So this is ginger, brown sugar (so it’s not too spicy), home make sweet potatoe dumplings and Chinese red prunes. Delicious and can warn you up. Come on over.

These two students really work hard. They go to school all day and after school they have a two hour private class. Their parents want them to pass a test, so I have to push them. We still have a little fun and I told them after the test we can go out and have fun.
