Whenever you post about Japan, their culture always becomes a prominent feature in all their attractions. One of the things that Learnt when I was there is the significance of the gates or passage entry structure seen in this photo. 😉 They resemble the presence of Shrine in the area. The bigger the saint, the higher and more prominent the shrine gate would be😊
