Have you ever felt that you are being leftover or neglected? Lately I have this feeling at work. I was kind of in line for a promotion for the past three year. Sadly due to COVID pandemic, budget cuts came in action and all the promotions were on hold. Now things have started to move in all the departments but for some reason my department’s executive management is not doing anything for staff and is still trying to play the pandemic card. I am not sure how long I will be able to continue working in such toxic environments

I think you should start quietly looking for other alternatives. Then when you find one you can raise the question with your department head while an option for exit
