They can never take their eyes and minds away from what makes the common man happy. Typical capitalists mentality controlling the world.
It's like when you play monopoly. Once a player starts to accumulate money, they'll win the game unless they're stupid. The bankers and the government have so many more resources than we do, they'd have to be stupid not to "win the game".
