I don't buy these new features Elon Musk is introducing to Twitter. From the paid blue checks that everyone, including spammers and impersonators can get to this new downvoting system that sounds likely to produce Steemit and Hive-like downvote overlords.

How will that process works? Downvotes maybe means lesser expose, I saw Twitter has some monetization options now like FB
If people who buy their verified blue marks mute or block you, it's equal to being downvoted. The more paid verified users mute or block you, the more your account and tweets are limited in reach.
