Instead of decentralizing the project, most crypto companies are decentralizing their perception for legal protection. For example, Binance is technically projecting BNB as a chain coin different from and independent of Binance. Secondly, Helium recently rebranded its parent company to Nova Labs after securing additional $200 million in new funding from institutional investors for the development of Helium Network. These are just the two recent major decentralization gimmicks, there are many more like them. Though this is not bad per sey but it's only perceptual decentralization. These companies still have overwhelming influence and represent a significant point of failure for the projects should governments decide to crack down on them. #cryptocurrency #crypto

At the moment, I think there are 2 important concerns about the cryptocurrency market. First; Money laundering incidents in the cryptocurrency market. The second is; The claim of decentralization that you speak of is not yet realistic to people. You are right about this...
But at least it's a (tiny) step in the right direction.
