There would always be multiple currency options... Many people in crypto are dillussional about what adoption looks like. In their utopia, they see crypto as the only way to pay for goods and services all over the world. Some even go to the extent of imagining it would be a single cryptocurrency, of course, their favourite coin.. That's never going to happen. Why? Because no currency in the entire evolution of money has ever been the only way to pay for goods and services. There has been, and would always be multiple currency options for payments. In fact, having crypto as the only way to pay for stuff could in some yet unforseen ways limit us, as different payment currencies or systems works best for different situations. No, I don't see crypto ever becoming the ONLY money of the world. Fiat will, for better or worse, always be around. But I would like to see BCH, Dash, Litecoin, and any other crypto that has low fees and rapid transaction times become more mainstream.
