The only thing still keeping #Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum in their market leadership position is the strong network effect they have built over the years and the first-mover advantage. Any blockchain network that's faster and cheaper and can match up to either of them network effect will easily make them irrelevant. People are continuing to use #Ethereum because most dApps are on Ethereum and the cheer fact that it was their "first love". Nothing more. With #Solana securing high profile partnerships such as with Brave, and hundreds of dApps being built on the chain, it wouldn't be long before Ethereum gets a truly worthy competitor that threatens its position. #defi #crypto #cryptocurrency

What about Cardano? I guess if you mentioned it, you should've listed the requirements as "faster, cheaper and it's WORKING" LOLOL
I don't know, guys. Cardano has a LOT of investment behind it. This may all come to nothing, but I wouldn't count Cardano out yet. Besides, didn't Solana suffer a huge hack a month or so ago?
To be honest, I was just letting out my frustration (impatience). Not that I've sold my Ada. Deep inside I don't want a rushed product that'll no different than ETH either
Oh yeah, Cardano is moving along at a snail's pace. It's even possible they'll overthink everything and allow something else, (Solana?), to grab so much of the marketshare that Cardano becomes irrelevant. So ..... I am going to invest in Solana also.
Unless it gets its crazy fees back down to earth, I believe ETH will start to drop in popularity soon. Why are folks still paying those nutty fees? BTC may be harder to bump from its position, because it was the first cryptocurrency. As long as it retains some functionality, it will stay #1. But what do I know? I'm just a grumpy old fat guy who doesn't understand NFTs or what the fuss over them is all about.
