#Ethereum would have been closed to flipping #Bitcoin (BTC) by now if it had not encouraged and given way to so many Ethereum killers like #Solana and #BSC due to its ridiculous fees and slow transactions. If all the value locked in these alternative chains were to be on Ethereum, its marketcap would probably be very close to $1 trillion or even more by now. With the constant pump in price of so many altcoin i doubt if ETH will ever displace BTC. Even if it will, not anytime soon.

So when are the high fees on ETH gonna go down? Will they ever go down? You're correct; I think ETH is hurting itself. Once some of the alternative chains get even more established, I don't think ETH will ever be able to challenge BTC, low fees or not.
