My seatmate in grade 4 It is heartbreaking to see the person who has been a part of your life struggling. The person who became close to you and became a friend. With thousands of people in the world, I never thought I would meet a friend like you. I met you back in my elementary days. We became classmates in grade 4. You were ahead of me, but you stopped studying for a year, so we became classmates in grade 4. At that young age, I see that you are responsible because you are the one our teacher always instructs and she has a lot of trust in you. You are responsible, kind, friendly, and jolly, so you have many friends. Your friends and classmates call you "Ding Dong." That is your nickname, like the chichirya and the doorbell, whose sound is ding dong. But what I call you is your first name, Delmer. I'm not comfortable calling you by your nickname because we weren't that close at that time. You go to school early because you are assigned to bring the key. You open the classroom, and I catch you mopping the floor, sweeping, or carrying our teacher's bag and books. In the classroom, you are a role model, and our teacher will give you instructions, and then we will follow you. You will be the first to clean the classroom, even when waxing the floor. I forgot that's why you came to school early because your home is near the school. We became friends and became close when there was a sitting arrangement. Your seating arrangement is beside mine. You are loud and funny sometimes. Your handwriting is beautiful, and you are good at drawing, so you are participating in the drawing contest and poster making. Sometimes you forget or you're too lazy to bring your books, so you will share with my book. When the teacher said we were going to write three pages in our notebook from the book, I remember what you did. You only wrote two pages. The others were just shortcuts, and you were just writing anything. You love drawing in your notebook, so your notebook will run out quickly. Every lunch, you don't bring food or a lunchbox because you just go home, and your house is nearby the school. We also went to your house there for lunch. At noon, you watch the TV show "Showtime." You memorize their songs because you are always singing them. I remember you helping me and my twin sister with our project. You helped us with our project because we didn't have the money to buy the Good Manners and Right Conduct Chart. You were done submitting the project, and you still had a picture then, so you just gave it to us. You are so kind. In elementary, we only became classmates in grade 4 because you transferred to another school. Your friends and classmates miss you, even our teacher. In high school, I studied in DNHS together almost all my classmates in elementary. We were in the same school. I never thought that you would also study there and that we would be in the same class again. We are still friends, and you even talked to us about your crush. Her name is Sanny, our beautiful and smart classmate. We only became classmates in grade 7, because you moved to Manila, where you lived and continued your studies.Based on your posts, it appears that your life is going well there.Every time you go home for vacation to your place, you hang out with your friend, taking advantage of the time together. Your last vacation was last year. In the month of February, I was surprised by the news from your neighbor, who is also your friend, that you were admitted to the hospital because you got sick. Yesterday, my heart was broken when I saw the Facebook post of your close friend. I was surprised when I saw your picture of you lying so thin that I could hardly recognize you because of your serious illness. His family and close friends are asking for prayers and financial support from people with good hearts. Any amount would be of great help to him with his medication and recovery. **Closing Thoughts** It is heartbreaking to see a person close to you, someone who has been a part of you, struggling and has had a serious illness. Your close friend even said that you were fighting. I hope you will be strong enough to fight your disease. You are not alone in that battle. Your family and friends loves you. I want to help you. All I can do is to pray for your recovery. I gave a little help to you. I'm sorry because that's all that's left in my Gcash a small amount. Do not lose hope. Let's have faith in God and pray, and I know you can overcome this. You are a strong . *Do you still remember me? By the way, I'm Cring, your seatmate in grade 4, and we became classmates in grade 7.* ***Lead image source: edited from Canva*** ***Image source: unplash.com*** ***Other images: edited from Canva***

Fun in Playing Volleyball Our SPEAR is all about sports activities. If you are wondering, what is SPEAR? It is a P.E subject. We will play volleyball. We will do it alone because we don't have face-to-face classes yet. We can play volleyball at our house or on the court. By thinking of it, playing volleyball together with your classmates, it's really fun. I'm not good at sports or sporty things. I remember when I was in high school, we played volleyball in our P.E. That was a fun and memorable experience for me. Because I'm not good at volleyball, my friends taught me. We even bought a ball to practice at home on Saturdays when my friends would come over to our house. I have a friend who is a volleyball player. She is good. She teaches me volleyball techniques. At first, I struggled because I was afraid I would get hit with the ball. When the ball goes to me instead of hitting the ball, I feel like a statue that just closes my eyes and does not move. The other thing is that when the ball goes, I will just avoid it. Luckily, my friend was very patient with me until I learned a little. This semester, I took SPEAR 4. The lesson was about physical fitness and sports. We are going to perform individual volleying (a), volleying against a wall (b), and serving (c). It's expensive if I buy a ball and I just use it for a short time. I would just go with my classmates, but they were so far away that it was difficult to meet them. I plan to borrow a ball from my friend and neighbor. Sadly, they don’t have a ball. Eventually, I decided to buy a ball. I chose the cheapest price. This is the ball I bought for 150. That is almost $3. I practiced for many days. I was not good at volleyball, but with practice and practice, I see improvement. Yesterday, I played volleyball for the submission video. My sister helped me. She took a video of me. We are not on the court, but our teacher said that we can perform in the open area and will just put a stick as an indication. Make sure the distance between the presumed net and the serving area is 9 meters. This is the open area where I played volleyball. It's really nice to have vacant land in our neighborhood, so I won't go far. I had fun making a video of myself performing the volley. Sometimes that ball lands in my face, and when I volley against the wall, sometimes when I hit the ball hard it hits my face too. The serving is exhausting. I chase the ball rolling away. After I finished editing the video, I submitted it right away. It's all about my volleyball experience. How about you? Do you play volleyball too? I hope you enjoy my stories or articles and thank you for taking the time to read them. Well appreciated!!

Drowning Help me I'm drowning I try to fight and be strong so I don't fall. But why am I drowning more? Help me to awaken my spirit. I want to wake up! I want to get up. It's just a dream it's not true. No! don't close your eyes wake up !! It's not a dream because it's the reality that you are drowning !. Gradually my body and mind drowned as my heartbeat slowed. Without air, I could not breathe. I tried to move my body, I want to swim and climb because it slowly takes me into the abyss. I wanted to scream out loud but there was water coming into my mouth. I shout in my mind, shouting without a voice. I still want to fight, I still want to live but the sad thing is I can't swim. I try to swim I move my arms, legs ... but I'm still drowning. I moved my hands to get their attention. Is it only up to here .. will it all end ..and goodbye? I closed my eyes and prayed to the Lord to ask for his help to save me from drowning. He is my only hope, I believe in him that he will not forsake me because he will save me. Until all of a sudden, someone pulled me up, until I was out of breath carrying me to the edge of the pool. I looked at the person who helped me he saved my life. That's my friend Are you okay? I cried I thought it was the end of my life I'm thankful to my friend who saved me from drowning. And to the Lord who did not forsake me, he answered my prayer. Closing Thoughts That was happened 4 years ago, since that day I have been afraid to swim in the sea and swimming pool. When my friends invite me to go on swimming, I don't go with them. I won't enjoy it because I can't swim. But I also want to be able to bond with them so I just go there to the children's swimming pool. Now I go with my family when my family has an outing on the beach. I enjoyed the beautiful view of the sea, and I liked the view that was relaxing especially when I was looking at the mountains. I was looking for a way to still swim in the pool without drowning and safely. This was our last bonding of my family when my older brother came home to the province. We rented a life jacket for 50 pesos so I'm happy and I really enjoy our outing. Sometimes I was nervous that my life jacket might puncture and lose air so I didn't spend much time in the pool. Last 2019 we had a vacation in Siargao we took a ferry. I'm nervous and looking the big waves our trip took 3 hours on the ferry the more my nervousness gets stronger as the ferry shakes because of the waves sometimes you feel like it's tilting OMO !! While we were on the ferry before it sailed the crew gave us a life jacket. I wore it as well as the others. Because the coast guards will still be checking. When the ferry left, the other passengers took off their life jackets. I was still wearing it, I didn't take it off. My Auntie said **why are you still wearing the life jacket, you can take it off, we just put it on earlier upon checking.** I said I'll just wear it until we get there. I was nervous at the big waves as I looked at my auntie and cousin they seemed to be used to the big waves they are no longer afraid. Maybe because they know how to swim and they are from the island. I looked at the passengers many were also foreigners and it seemed that they were happy to have a vacation on the island. Lead image source: pixels.com

Chasing the Cow It is a busy and exhausting day and we end up chasing the cow. Last Monday is National Vaccination Day until December 1, 2021. In our family, my siblings and I are fully vaccinated our mother and father are the only ones who have not been vaccinated. My mom decided to get vaccinated at first she was scared but she has already decided. I reassure her that before she can be vaccinated, there will be a doctor and health workers who will look after her. My mother has hypertension and her heart is weak she can easily get tired. While my father doesn't want to get vaccinated he is afraid. On the vaccination day, I accompanied my mother. I was also with my cousin’s wife she accompanied her 13 years old daughter to get vaccinated. As usual, there were a lot of people so I lined up for my mother and made her sit down first. My head heats up in the line because the crowd is no longer following.I keep on waiting in the line not even moving because we are in the back. Then I found out because many of the late ones came in and they were even ahead of us. Until they look at mom's vital signs and then they orientate as well. We waited for the doctor. For the first dose, the doctor had not yet signed their paper because the doctor was with vaccination in another district. After a few hours, the doctor also arrived. My mother got up because it was her turn to sit in the front and guess what ?? It's like a flash!!! suddenly the boy on the other line sits that is supposed my mom turn. So my mother just went back to her old seat. The health worker saw what happened so she called my mom's name first. After we got home father also came home from the farm while my sister was taking care of our animals. We all tired when my sister shouted *Mom, Father!!.. the cow lost the leash, "wala nay pangilong ang baka" (leash on the cow's nose)* Father: ***What happened why did the cow lose? and how the cow’s nose strap was removed. Didn't I tell you not to bring the two cows together because they will fight and remove their nose strap?*** Sister: ***NO! When I pulled the cow’s leash all of a sudden her nose strap was removed.*** We have four cows and "Daku" the cow that is not gentle compared to "Mayo, "Sep-Sep", and "May-May". We got tired of chasing our cow and it was about to get dark. We had to catch our cow immediately because it would damage the crops of the neighbors and the cow might go far away to another land. My father was also tired from the farm and our strength was not enough to catch the cow. My father said that we had to prepare the money to pay the person who would help to catch our cow tomorrow. Because **"Daku"** had lost before, it took three days before he was caught and he went to another land. Until it was dark we gave up chasing the cow and we decided to continue it in the morning. But father still did not give up chasing the cow. He made a trap and barriers for the cow and bring a rope. While we are sleeping at night, our father watched over the cow not to go far. In the morning, father immediately managed to get grass food **"Kumpay"** for the cows. He gave "Daku" some grass and immediately approached while eating the Kumpay. Father tried to throw a rope at Daku's leg. Until the cow's leg was tied up. Finally, Daku was caught and replaced a new nose strap . **Closing Thougths** Mom had a fever after she got vaccinated but now she is feeling better. Pag nakawala ang baka it's really hard to catch because they run so fast and you can't tame them. When you go near to the cow it will run , when you flashlight the cow, they will run immediately and when he sees that our father is carrying a leash, they will run like a flash. We are glad we caught right away the next day he didn't damage our neighbor's crops just ate mama's sweet potato tops. And we no longer spend money for the person who will help us to capture our cow. My article ends here, have a nice day lovely readers. ***Lead image source:*** *edited from Canva* ***Image source:*** pixels.com

The Honest Reviews of Pandesal How important the honest customer reviews? And how the business owner reacts? **Let me begin my story.....** In the morning we love the bread **"Pandesal"** which is delicious paired with coffee or you can add feelings on it. Sometimes we buy and sometimes we don’t. In the morning, the young boy on a motor was selling pandesal and he was just a short distance away when he shouted **!!Pandesal Pandesal.** I asked my mom if we would buy pandesal she replied "Buy two bags" Each bag of pandesal is 10 pesos with 6 pcs of pandesal. Our neighbor also buys pandesal but sometimes not because the vendor takes a long time to come. So they finished their coffee or they had breakfast early just like my family too. The vendor of pandesal is from another barangay from Brgy. Libudon he sell in their barangay and then here in our barangay. The other districts first before in our area so when the pandesal vendor arrives we are already done with our coffee. But still, we buy the pandesal for meryenda. Sometimes he arrives early. One day in the morning the young boy came selling pandesal. My father refuses to buy and he said: ***"Dong, your pandesal is really tasteless. I haven't tasted any milk so I won't buy it".*** *The* young boy replied "Okay Kol and he left. My mother told my father that he didn't have to tell that to the boy it was up to you whether you bought it or not. No need to say, that their pandesal is tasteless. I hope you just said you won't buy now because we're done having coffee. ***Father: What's wrong with what I said, I'm just telling the truth about the taste of their pandesal.*** Maybe he won't come back here to sell pandesal because of what father said. Maybe he feels bad about it. Baka nasaktan din sa sinabi ni papa. The next morning there was no shadow of the pandesal vendor. I said look he never sold us because of what father said. Maybe the Pandesal may have run out in other districts so he could no longer sell us my sister said. The next day we are surprised when we heard **"Pandesal, Pandesal"** The Pandesal vendor arrives my mom bought two bags. We ate and paired it with coffee. I thought that the pandesal vendor would never come back to us. So he was not affected by what papa said. When father came home from feeding the cow. We informed him that the boy who was selling pandesal had returned. **Father:** We met earlier on the road. The boy said to me, ***"Our pandesal is delicious now because we added butter and milk. I told the bakery owner your statement about the taste of our pandesal".*** I ate pandesal, I compared to the previous taste it is tastier and delicious now. They make improvement on their Pandesal and listen to father's feedback. **Closing Thoughts** Then I realized there was nothing wrong with what father said to the pandesal vendor that's his honest review as a customer. This helps to make their pandesal tastier and so that many people will buy. To the business owner, honest reviews from customers are important for them to better improve the products and services that they offer. Just like in Shopee before we purchase, we will first look at the ratings and reviews of other customers on the products they have purchased. For us to be inform if the product is good and they offers a good services. Yesterday, I received my order from Shopee everything is good, I'm a satisfied customer from the products and their services. So I give them a 5 stars rating. That's all and thanks for your time reading my article. Have a nice day everyone!! ***Images source from:*** *pixabay* ***Lead image source:*** *edited from Canva*

Fully Vaccinated When vaccination began in our province, the priorities were senior citizens and public workers. Until there was a vaccination in our Barangay at Dawan Elementary School. One day my cousin's wife told us if we would get vaccinated because there was a schedule for vaccination that was September. She messaged the BHW or the Barangay Health Worker assigned to our district. But BHW's replied that my sister and I can't get vaccinated yet, she will just inform us of the next vaccination schedule. On their scheduled day while I was scrolling on Facebook I saw the posts and Facebook stories of my classmates who used to be just my age. We are in the same barangay they're just from another district. I wonder why they have been vaccinated and my sister and I are not allowed. I am wondering why the BHW did not allow us on that day to get vaccinated. On Saturday we have a meeting and activity in our association. One member was a BHW in our Barangay and she asked me. ***Did you get vaccinated last Monday?*** I said we didn't get vaccinated because the BHW told us my sister and I are not allowed, we wait for the next schedule. She replied that we can get vaccinated because my classmates who used to be her neighbors there have already been vaccinated. We can just go to the vaccination site directly even without registration. On that schedule are supposed to be 700 people to vaccinate those who registered but only 300 went. I said I didn't know I could just go there directly. They said it needs to register with BHW first. Anyway, we can still have vaccination on the next schedule. The other day, I heard the news from our neighbor that there was no vaccination to be held in our Barangay. If we want to get vaccinated we will go to the City, because that's where the vaccination will be held. I was worried that if we got vaccinated in the City, we would still have to pay the fare because it was far away. A week after our University posted an Announcement that there will be Vaccination Caravan will be held for students who have not yet been vaccinated. To aim to vaccinate the students in preparation for the face-to-face classes. So my sister and I filled up the google form for the schedule right away. That was October 13 we filled up then, our vaccination schedule will be October 19. The rumors that no vaccination will be held in the Barangay are not true. Because on Friday that was October 15 I received a message from our BHW she informed me that on the coming Monday, October 18 there is a vaccination schedule and we can register. We chose to get vaccinated in the Barangay because it is close to us. On our schedule for our first dose of Pfizer. Early in the morning, we go to the Vaccination site, and at 6:30 am we arrive. We thought there weren't many people yet because it was early. But there were already many people in line. We filled up the papers and then some steps needed to be followed and completed. They checked the temperature, blood pressure and put my finger on the pulse oximeter. They checked our vital signs, then the city health nurses have an orientation for the benefit of the vaccine to us, the adverse effect of the vaccine, and some reminders. After that, we proceed to the interview they have many questions about our health. The final line is under the trees because the space in the gym is not enough, there is also a chair outside in the gym. It took many hours before I was vaccinated. When the needle was inserted into my left arm, I was a little nervous but so far it was ok, it wasn't too painful. After the vaccination, we rested for a while, and then our vital sign was checked again and we were given medicine for fever and allergies, we will take it if we experience the adverse effects of the vaccine. What I felt was that my head hurts but the next day it was gone. Then after 2 weeks, I had a fever for 3 days but that wasn't with the vaccine the reason is because of toothache and my gums were swollen. `Namaga ang aking left cheek sabi ng sis ko parang kumain ako ng malaking candy lol.` Yesterday, was the schedule of our 2nd dose at 8:00 am my sister and I went to the vaccination I brought water and a biscuit for our snack. My mom prepared our lunch but I didn't'bring the lunch box it didn't fit in my bag haha. So when I came home yun na din ang kinain ko. While my sister brought the sketch pad, wifi modem, and power bank she put them in the pack bag because she had a class at that time. We were vaccinated faster than before because the doctor arrived early. On the other hand, our line moved fast compared to other lines so we got home around 11:00 am so we had lunch at home. 《《《《《《《《《《《《《《《♡》》》》》》》》》》》》》 **Closing Thoughts** I'm glad I didn't experience the adverse effects of the vaccine. But for now, we rest ourselves first, and avoid food that is not advisable to eat for a while. In our family, only mom and father have not been vaccinated. But they said in the next schedule they will be vaccinated. It's been a week since I'm not active in read cash because I didn't have time I'm so busy with my studies, and I'm also tutoring kids. Last week we started our kopra. I will manage my time I need time management so that I can still write articles. I miss you all people and have a great day!!

**Ano ang ginawa nyu ngayung araw ng All Soul's Day? you can share in comment section.** Tomorrow is back to work na at back to school.

Ora et Labora Family Association WE ARE NOW OPEN!! Last Saturday was the Opening of the Display Center or the Ora et Labora Family Association. Maybe you are wondering what Ora et Labora means? `Ora et labora (pray and work) is the well-known phrase that reflects the basic idea underlying the rule of monastic life, which was originally formulated by Saint Benedict of Nursia (around 480−547) and initially intended as an internal rule for the monks of Benedict's own monastery of Montecassino in Italy.` ***Link source:*** ***https://www.wdl.org/en/item/13467*** The motto of the Benedictine sisters is to have time for prayer and time for work. It must be balanced that was what sister Aurora told me. The name of our display center is taken from that idea. We display farming products, ornamentals, native dishes, and more. The participants of the Association are the Benedictine scholars, parents of scholars, Benedictine Sisters, and interested individuals. Early in the morning mom harvested her vegetables such as eggplant and Macalbar spinach because those are the only vegetables available in our garden. My mom repacked the veggies for half a kilo because I will sell the vegetables at the display center. By 8:30 pm I was ready after household chores and feeding the animals. I'm ready to go to the display center. When I arrived I helped them in preparation because there was a blessing ceremony. After the mass, I displayed my vegetables on the table. I am happy because immediately someone bought my vegetables he bought them all. My mom sold the veggies for a cheap price so it ran out right away. The man said that the vegetable he bought from me he would also sell in his store. He is from Makangaw and one of the choir. And he told me on next Saturday if I have vegetables for sale he will buy them again. In the opening or ribbon cutting of the new business, the foods will never be absent. We have a simple party or salo-salo. What I love the most is the Puto cheese and banana cake it's very tasty. After the celebration, we helped to wash the dishes. The other scholars were the ones who put away the chairs, dried the plates, and arranged the cabinets. While the mothers are busy in the kitchen. I love it when people are helping each other because tasks are quickly finished by many helping hands. Very few people attended because of the pandemic, no visitors came. Before the pandemic, there were many activities, there were **"Masipag Festival"**of farmers from other barangays and nearby provinces, they will display their products and many will also buy, especially when they are many visitors. They also have seminars like making noodles, organic fertilizers, herbal medicines. There is also an organization of farmers the **PASAD** which helps them in their livelihood by raising goats, poultry, and cattle. They also have a seminar for Women's Empowerment. That's all I remember they had many activities at that time it just stopped because of the pandemic. We missed the fun and joyful Christmas, fiestas, and festivals because the Benedictine High School Scholars and Philbert Scholars (were college students) are there to celebrate and they have a presentation too such as dance, singing, and drama. **We were all happy that we were slowly getting up.** We hope that the former vigor will return through our support and cooperation. And hopefully, our display center will be successful. Also to help the parents to have extra income during the pandemic and especially they will not experience difficulty in selling their products. **Closing Thoughts** This coming Saturday I will be selling vegetables and ripe bananas and tomorrow we will get Bamboo Shoots from the farm to sell as well. I plan to sell Turon and buko juice or maybe gulaman to have extra income. I hope our display center will grow and become successful. **Images source: Pixabay and Pixels**

Harvesting Bananas How are you lovely people? Have a wonderful day. Yesterday we harvested our bananas so let me share to you my story. Twice a month we harvest our bananas. My family's source of income is farming and bananas are our main product. Our farm is in the mountains so it is really difficult to bring our product down to the plains. Yesterday, Mang Pablo is not around my father's assistant in harvesting especially in hauling bananas down the mountain. It's difficult for us to find another helper. At 6:30 in the morning, we go to the farm after we feed our pigs and cows. Our farm is far away so it's nice to climb early because the sun isn't hot yet. Last night it rained so the road was slippery so we climbed the mountain barefoot because we might just slip when we wear slippers. We endured the painful sharp rocks and I was trampled by thorny weeds. The worst thing is there is a "hantik"(black ant species) that suddenly bites your foot. So I was very annoyed because their bite was painful. My mother cut the banana we didn’t want our mom to do heavy works the three of us my sister, father and I. We went back and forth hauling down our product. As I watched my father struggling to lift a large sack full of bananas. It broke my heart, a few times that my father slipped because his knees hurt due to arthritis father said ***"My knees have no strength***." But he still insists on working. ***How I wish I have the superpower to carry many sacks of bananas at the same time. How I wish I'm a strong woman to carry heavy things.*** But I'm a woman that I can only carry is 15 to 20 kls. If I could only do it alone, I would do it so that they wouldn't have to suffer anymore. But the only thing I could lift was 20 kilos of bananas. ***"That was so heavy I can't carry it"*** So my mother reduced the banana in the sack. As I carry the bananas on my shoulder. A few times I slipped and the painful bite of the hantik. I wake up to the reality of how hard our lives are, the life of the farmer. So I needed to graduate so that my parents would not have to struggle to work on the farm. They are already old and someday I'll be the one to work for them I can sustain the needs and wants of my family. When we finished hauling the bananas in the plain area where the carabao could pass through. We loaded the bananas on the "Balsa" or carabao driven cart. It's almost 4:00 pm when we get home. I immediately called the buyer that we had bananas for sale and were already here at home. Immediately the buyer came, the price of our banana which the buyer bought for only 10 pesos per kilo (0.20). A cheap price but when sold in the market, bananas are expensive. **Closing thoughts** We are grateful for the blessing that we received we harvested many bananas yesterday. I hope the price of the banana will higher so the farmers will be happy. Pagka september 10.50 pesos na tapos ngayon bumaba na naman naging 10 pesos na lang.* I wrote this article last night but I was not able to finish this since my body is tired from the labor. That's why we sleep early after dinner.

He was a Fisherman **The story of a fisherman** In one village their occupation is fishing because the sea is rich in marine resources. There was a man who was one of the fishermen. Every day he sailed on his boat to provide food for his family. Under the intense heat of the sun and in the middle of the rain. He is happy that he can catch a lot of fish but sometimes he goes home without catching any fish. Every afternoon his family waits for their father to come home and hopefully many fish will be caught. They are worried that whenever the weather is bad, strong winds or heavy rain might catch up with their father. The family is happy when the fisherman caught a lot of fish. In the afternoon the fisherman came home. He caught a lot of fish he chose fish for sale and fish for family consumption. He weighed the fish and decided to sell a few kilos of fish to the other village. **"*****Get ready because it's getting dark and you will be selling 5 kilos of fish in other villages ."*** The two daughters sold few kilos of fish luckily sold out immediately because many bought. The buyers liked the fish because it was very fresh and affordable. One day the fisherman's family was worried because he had not returned home and it was about to get dark. A fisherman came to the house to inform the family that the man was still in the dock of the boats and could not walk because he was in pain due to Arthritis. The fisherman's older son picked up his father by a Carabao chariot " Balsa" at the docks of boats. The boat dock is far away in many mangroves and before you get there you will first cross the river. The family helped the man who could not walk due to severe Arthritis. In a few days, the fisherman was cured because of the medicine and proper rest as well. The fisherman knows many of the names of the fish he has memorized the types of fish. ***"What is the name of this fish? "*** ***"The color is like a butterfly."*** The children asked when they are fish that is new to their eyes. They ate dinner together and the fisherman will talk about what happened during his whole day at sea. `There was a fisherman whose boat sank and they helped him. Some also ran out of fuel in the middle of the sea. There was also a fisherman who didn't catch anything so they shared some fish too. So that he could take home something for his family. The wind was strong so it was hard to fish.` That’s just one of the fishermen’s stories. After not fishing for a few days, her two daughters would go to the boat dock to scoop up the water under the boat whenever it rained and remove the mangroves' dry leaves. CLOSING THOUGHTS The fisherman I tell in my story is my father. He used to be a fisherman but now he is no longer. Because he is old and his foot always hurts due to Arthritis. He can no longer go on fishing. It's been several years since his pump boat was sold. He always said that he misses fishing if he didn't have arthritis he was suffering from, he would have been able to fish. I also want to remind everyone that we must take care of marine resources and not abuse it, just like using illegal fishing. Let us take care and protect the sea so that we have more fish, and for the next generation. *****All images from pixels.com*****

I'm guilty You spent the money so badly! Why is this the only change left in $20 I gave? You don't know the effort just to make money!! That's what my father told me when he scolded us. Have you ever felt guilty about something that you did? Let me share with you the story. One day my twin sister and I had a schedule to go to the University for advance credit matters. We had the same schedule so we could go together. Since we're going to the city I decided to withdraw my earnings in my Bitcoin wallet I had $ 19 at that time. But something happened I lost my money (*I mentioned what happen in my article before).* I saved some money from my part-time job but my mother borrowed my money. I don't expect her to pay for that and that's fine with me because it's also for our household needs, so I have no money left. A few days later my twin sis and I decided to make an appointment for advance credit. Our school is in the city and we live in the countryside we have to travel to get there. But the problem is I don't have money. I told my mother that we're going to Mati City and our purpose. In the morning we asked our parents for money for the fare and father gave us Php 1,000/$ 20. He ordered that we buy a Ground Plus herbicide, 1kl. fish and pay the electric bill. But mother said that if we had to pay the bills, the money would not be enough. So father told us not to pay the electric bill first. We took a bus the ride was 30 minutes until we reached the terminal and we took a tricycle going to the University. I accompanied my sister to their institute to inquire and to process her advance credit. Then when she finished she accompanied me, to my institute but at that time the secretary was not there yet. We waited for a while as I checked the time it was close to lunchtime. We decided to have lunch first and we'll come back at 1 pm. We ate outside the university they are so many food stores and stalls where you can have your lunch and snacks. It's almost lunchtime they are lots of people are there. We ordered 2 rice one for me and my sis and one dish a "fish escabeche" for 30 pesos ($0.60) we shared the escabeche (hating kapatid). While waiting for the food to be served something caught my attention a yummy siomai. I haven't eaten siomai in a long time maybe that was 2 years ago I forgot the taste of siomai. Let's order a siomai !! (I told my sister) Luckily, my sister agreed we ordered 2 orders 3 pcs of siomai for 20 pesos/ $0.40.That's a beef siomai I didn't like the taste very much I didn't enjoy maybe the pork siomai tasted better. But if you are a siomai lover maybe you will love it. After we had lunch we went back to the university and went to the ICE Institute I met my instructor in person for the first time she checked my subjects and then she signed my documents. I went to the cashier to pay the bills for the 18 units subjects. Then I gave to ma'am my documents. Next, I went to the registrar to submit my papers then the registrar instructed me to photocopy the papers, I went out to the university to photocopies my papers. Finally! we are done and we are so happy. By checking the time it's already 3 pm I told my sister that we are going to celebrate. Yes, I like celebrations even in small things we will have our snacks as our celebration. We took a tricycle to the public market to buy our father's orders, we should have bought that so that father wouldn't get angry. We decided to have a snack on 7/11 because it is just in front of the bus terminal We bought two footlongs for 30 pesos each (0.60) and one soft drink for 30 pesos (0.60). After we had a snack we took the bus to go home. We are exhausted that day, especially riding a bus I don't like it, makes me sick. Anyway, I'm happy It's reduced my worries regarding my subjects and going to City that day is worth it. Why I'm guilty? The next day our father asked for the change of 1000 pesos ($20) bill I looked in my wallet was the only thing left was 50 pesos ($1) and coins. I was nervous that time my twin sis and I looked at each other and I gave the money to our father. **You spent the money so badly! Why is this the only change left in 1000 I gave? You don't know the effort just to make money !!** **Didn't I tell you many times to save money?** Our father was angry I explained to my father how we spent the money including the fare, photocopies, school bills, and the price of the things he told us to buy. My mother helped us to explain to our father. She replied that it's okay because we bought the things that our father told us to buy and also think about the price too it's almost Php 500 ($10) and their fare is Php 200 ($4). There's only a little amount of money left in them. CLOSING THOUGHTS Have you ever felt guilty about something you did? That was one of my experiences that happened in September. It makes me guilty that I used my father's money that day. I should save the money that time I should not buy the siomai, soda, and snacks that day hopefully not just 50 pesos and coins will be the change of the Php 1000 ($20) bill. From that day we conclude I and my twin sis that we will no longer ask our father for money when we go to the city thanks to noise cash and read cash I save a little amount of money. Additionally, we are focused on saving money now. We will not purchased on the things that's not really important. Image source: from pixabay

When Nobody is Watching They are just laughing around and using cell phones. Not doing the task that was given to them, to clean and sweep the dry leaves. They were just talking and laughing. On the other side, I saw two young girls who were working, sweeping the weeds and collecting the dry leaves into the trash bin. The two are best friends the girl name Lyca is a grade 8 and Rhia is a grade 7 student they are the new scholars. While others have been scholars for a long time they are senior high, grade 9, and grade 10. But because nobody is watching they are not working they are just busy with their cell phone and others are busy with TikTok. They are so confident that the superior cannot see them in what they are doing and taking advantage of the kindness of the superior who is not strict, unlike their past superior who is always watching over them. I'm proud of the two scholars they are responsibly doing the task that was given to them. I pity them too because others are not working, only two people which are new scholars do the works. While I'm busy working together with their parents. I just watch them and listening what they are topic about. Their mothers scold them for using cell phones instead of working. One mother told the scholars ***" Don't abuse the kindness of sister because she is not around watching all of you then you will not do the works."*** But what you expected they are not listening! After working they prepared lunch for everyone. We ate our lunch together at the long table. When 1:00 pm approached we have a bible study then Bible Sharing. After that, we have a meeting for our project the Display Center. We scheduled the final day for the Opening, and planning for the preparations. Assigning people for their responsibility and contribution, we want everything to be settle. During the meeting, the scholars are still busy with their cell phones and taking selfies. They are not listening, they having their meeting too and laughing so loud lol. So they interrupt the meeting. The mother opens up about the scholars. **Mother 1:** *Sister, you should have been there earlier watching them while working because they were just busy with their cell phones and didn't work properly. They will only move when you are there looking at them.* **Mother 2:** *Before, when sister H was still handling the scholars, she will collect the cell phones so that they could work well. After they finished she will return back their cell phones.* **Mother 3:** *They are hard-headed not listening to their mothers.* **Sister replied to everyone:** *I'm very disappointed to all the high school scholars except to the new scholars. You already know what is right and wrong. Be responsible during work hours and don't forget to be respectful. Is this how young people are today?* *There is time to use gadgets and time to work. You know that sister H's policy was right, I hope you just follow that.* *I haven't been watching over you earlier because I've been too busy taking care of everything since sister H left. So I'm sorry if I haven't been watching over you earlier. But don't worry because this month I have new colleagues coming. I can now monitor you all the time.* **Closing Thoughts** I don't how I will end this article. Many things have changed we are in the modern world but hopefully to have a good manners will not be affected by the change of time. A good attitude is still there especially being kind and respectful to our parents and the elders. I know we have a different perspective about it. If you can relate or you want to share your opinion feel free to the comment section. Have a good day!

Rats Attacked the Crops **When the rats destroyed our crops.** We live in the countryside our source of living is farming, copra and taking care of animals. We have many crops on our farm for our livelihood and consumption, our main products are bananas and corn. Here at home,we grow vegetables in our garden and we sell them to our neighbors. Our farm is far from our house we will walk for 1 hour before reaching the farm. You can't ride a motorcycle going there! because our farm is in the mountains. Going to our farm it is very tired and you need to bring lots of water to drink. *(Papunta pa lang kapagud na)* When you get there for sure you will enjoy the view by seeing the mountains, sea and the other barangay. When you are a farmer, you will endure the extreme heat of the sun and your sweat will drip. Every time my father went to the farm we were worried because of the hot weather and my father had hypertension. My mom always keeps reminding our father that he should not work too much if he feels bad he can rest in the hut first because it's dangerous for his health. So when papa goes to the farm, he has someone with him to help him work on the farm. Early in the morning, we prepare what father will bring to the farm especially their snacks in the morning, afternoon, and lunch. When it rains, it's a perfect time to plant. We experience challenges in farming such as when the crops were destroyed by the typhoon, died due to extreme heat or during the dry season, and destroyed by pests. Another problem in September, rats attacked our corn crops. My father said that there were big rats in the field that were destroying our crops, the rats eats the new plant corn. Whenever we didn't have class my sister and I would go to the farm to help our parents all we did was removing the weeds. We saw the large vacant area with no crops! the new corn crop did not grow because it was eaten by rats already. Seeing the situation it makes me sad... New corn crops were eaten by rats, almost half of the crops they destroyed. There was a part of our farm that they didn't get there they didn't eat the new crops so that's the only area that was saved. My father said it would not be good if the rats continued to attack our crops and we might not be able to harvest anything. We also spend money on our farm. We took measures against the attack of rats on our crops. **"There is no such thing as a free lunch".** **- Melton Friedman** **Author's Note:** My article has a Part 2 I will update soon the continuation. A big thanks to Ayane-Chan for your kindness, my first ever sponsor🎉

I lost my Earnings in September In September I have a goal to earn $20 from two platforms noise and read.cash. Even though I'm just a newbie in read cash but I'm motivated. So I set a goal that, I hope to make $20 even it's a bit impossible but nothing is impossible as long as I work hard to write. I’m happy that there are lovely people who supported me here and Rusty noticed my article. When the month was about to end, on September 29 I checked my BCH wallet and I already have $ 19 I smiled with joy, I was close to reaching my goal. **But on that day there was an unexpected happened I lost all my earnings. Yes, my $ 19 disappeared like bubbles.** ***How I lost my Earning*** **Because I wasn't careful, I accidentally deleted my BCH Wallet app**. This is what happened on the afternoon of September 29 my sister told me that she saw on Facebook post a legit anti-radiation eyeglass from the caption and comments she wanted to buy. The name of the Shopee store is attached to the Facebook post. She told me to download the Shoppee to my cell phone to check the item and cost of the shipping if that's a good deal then we purchased it. (*Add to cart na sis) My last ordered on Shopee May pa iyun kaya denelete ko yung app.* So I download Shopee but since my phone is full storage I don't have enough space. I deleted my messenger then I download the app. The shoppe app is already installed on my phone while exploring the app. When I exit the app I noticed that something is missing. **My BCH Wallet is missing. I'm so nervous that time Oh no !! and I realized my BCH Wallet app is already deleted.** Have you noticed in play store if you don't have enough space the play store automatically checked some apps to be uninstalled? Maybe that's what happened to me too I didn't notice the BCH Wallet app ay naka checked at nasa baba ay hindi ko napansin hindi ko na unchecked kaya ito ay na delete. Sadly, the fruit of my effort was wasted because I was not careful. With that amount of money, I can buy many things for my family. I regret the money I lost every time I think about it. ~~♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡~~ CLOSING THOUGHTS It's also my fault because I didn't back up my wallet and didn't add security. This is a big lesson I learned when it comes to money we should be careful. I thought the end of September would be fun but that’s what happened. Despite what happened I'm thankful I joined this platform and I'm more motivated to write an article. Let's think positive better days happen and may our October be full of positive vibes, many blessings come to us, and good health. I don't want to talk about it gusto kung maging secret na lang but every time I write an article it's always what I think of. So I make an article about it so I can express myself on what happened and forget about it. I forgive myself and I accept the reality I can't bring back the time, and I can't even get the money back. Move on and acceptance is the key! `When I told my sister that I lost my money she said "tangaa uy kasayang". Pinagalitan din ako dahil naging lutang ako that day syempre na shocked pa ako sa nagyari at naghihinayang pero wala na akong magagawa pa.Magsisikap na lang ako na this month ay maka earn ako.` ***Images edited from canva***

Everytime I Travel When covid -19 started we only went to the city very often. When there are only important things we need, we go to the city such as paying bills, buying medicine, and grocery shopping. We live in the countryside, my parents don't work in the city, their routine every day is house and farm. In our house, I'm always ordered to go to the city because my sister is lazy to travel. When we go to the city you can take a bus and tricycle (no more jeep when pandemic started) we called it "bao-bao more than 40 minutes or 1 hour when there is no traffic and road works. The bus fare is 30 pesos, for tricycle is 50 pesos. When the pandemic started here in our province, the bus and jeep are not allowed to operate. So the fare is expensive when we go to the city the only vehicle we can ride is tricycle or "bao-bao"2 passengers are allowed and the fare is 100 php ($2) each passenger . In the month of May, we're happy the bus is allowed to operate in our province, ***hihinto na siya sa crossing hindi lang by terminal.*** On Sunday I went to the city to find and buy a formal attire that I would wear for our business proposal presentation. Our presentation is a group activity since there are no face-to-face classes we record ourselves while presenting the business proposal then my one groupmate was assigned to edit the video. Luckily, I only went to one store and found it less hassle for me too, I don't need to walk to another store. I'm happy I found a Buy 1 take 1 so one for me and the other one is for my sister the two long sleeve is color black but different style and design. I went to grocery store, wet market and drugstore. After I bought everything on the list I decide to go home. I don’t like to ride the air-conditioned bus because I don’t like the smell I’m nauseous and feel dizzy even though I’ve experienced a long bus ride for almost 13 hours when we have a vacation. I’m preventing myself from vomiting. So what I did on the trip I cover my nose and and trying to sleep until we reach our destination I always bring vics and effecassent oil it helps a lot *para hindi ko maamoy ang baho ng bus at sumama ang sikmura ko but also, I eat some snacks when I'm hungry.*When I arrive at the terminal or home, I will have a coffee to warm my stomach and to feel better. Sometimes when I'm with my sister when we travel together when we get home she requested a fish soup or tinolang manok to our mother. I'm still not used to it, even though the travel going to the city is just almost 30 minutes but I still feel bad every time I ride the bus it's make me seek .If there is a regular bus which is not air-conditioned then I will choose it, only a few regular buses are traveling, so when I'm at the terminal, I always come across the air-conditioned buses. ***Kaya pag-uwi ko sa bahay maghahanap talaga ako ng kape at pahinga sandali dahil masakit ang aking ulo.***The passenger in the bus is limited to two-seaters and three-seaters only one person can seat. To maintain the social distancing and follow the health protocol. Closing Thoughts When I go to the city, I get tired and lazy, unlike when I was a child, I always wanted to go to the grocery store and shop with my mother.I cry if my mother wouldn't bring me and I enjoy riding the bus near the window is my favorite spot to see the beautiful view such as the sea, mountains, rice field, and many trees. When you go outside to enter stores and malls, don't forget to wear a facemask and face shield. Before you can enter the guard will check your temperature and you need to present your QR code. Always sanitize your hands follow the health protocol and observe social distancing not just for our own safety but for everyone keeps safe always lovely people. Sweet honey inside the Bottle I have a part time job every tuesday, thursday and saturday.I thought we make coconut oil like the previous day. But it wasn't because I was asked to put honey in a bottle. Have you ever tasted honey? The taste is super sweet. Before that, I did general cleaning, removed the cobweb from the cieling, swept, removed the dust and mop the floor. Then I arranged the things. The working area was not cleaned for a long time it is been month because the owner was busy and only used the building very often. Next we prepared the equipment for refilling the honey in the plastic bottle. So these are our needs: **PLASTIC BOTTLES** Even though the bottles were wrapped in plastic, a cockroach was still inserted. Even in the photo you can see some tiny insects and dust in the plastic. Maybe because it was stocked in the cabinet. **BOTTLE CAP** Of course the bottle cap of the bottles to secure the honey and not spill. **SWEET HONEY** We have two gallons of honey that is good for 30 bottles. Like I said the bottles were dirty because there was a cockroach stuck in the plastic so I cleaned it first. One by one I washed the bottles with water and liquid dishwashing. I also used a sponge and the things for cleaning the bottle that you can insert it. I don't know what is called but I saw that thing mostly use in cleaning the milk bottle. Then after I washed the bottles, I put it in the basket and let it dry in the sun for a while. It didn't take long because the extreme heat of the weather dried up quickly. Then I wiped the bottles with a clean cloth. I prepared the 30 bottles only because I asked the sister how many bottles need in one gallon she replied that it's need 15 bottles. That is why I prepared 30 bottles for two gallons. I started refilling the bottles of sweet and pure honey. **CLOSING THOUGHTS** They will sell honey but someone ordered already. I asked if they would make a profit from their honey. May kita naman daw hehe. They bought honey from Tagum City far away though and just delivered it to them. **It turns out that a gallon of honey is 1500 pesos or 29.82 USD is it expensive? Or the price is right knowing it's difficult to consume honey and to get it.** There was still honey left in the gallon, sister told me to just take home. *Hindi na siya umabot sa isang bottle half na lang inuwi ko na lang para makatikim din daw family ko.* So I took it home and in the afternoon I returned the gallon to them. Because I still had work to do in the afternoon, to do computer works like typing, printing and arranged some reports. After work sister give my salary. I'm happy that my hardwork has paid off it tastes sweet like honey too. **Lead image edited from Pics Art** Thanks for reading!!♡ -CringTheWriter

Not All Jokes are Funny Do you agree with the sayings that **"Some jokes are half meant true"** . If you ask me, my answer is **YES.** Let me explain why so there are things that are not even funny but others make jokes about it. A kind of joke is that below the belt and might be a person feel offended. They are types of jokes that are funny, that make you laugh like those funny videos that you watch and funny jokes that you read. I remember my classmate in high school bought a book that it's all about funny jokes. When I read the book, I laughed a lot. Some awkward situation that makes us laugh too. The other type of joke is not funny because it is hurtful. Instead of laughing, you will be hurt by what you hear, you will be hurt by reality. Some jokes are below the belt I experienced that too. I asked myself why they are making fun of me? it's because I'm chubby, I'm quiet and I'm dumb sometimes. A joke that make me offend, and I don't know how to react so I just stay quiet. I don't have strength to confront, and to speak it up. Sometimes I have strength, I asked the person if that was funny?He/She said it is just a joke, don't feel bad about it and don't be a kill joy **"Ang Kill joy mu naman, joke lang, hindi na mabiro".** I admit that I'm a soft person or, I'm sensitive, small things make me offend and easily hurt. It sounds OA but that is true. I laughed at your jokes but deep inside I'm offended I was hurt. Sometimes I think that maybe the jokes told to me with sarcasm are true. Some people can't tell directly, they just joke about what they want to say like "**Pautang naman dyan joke lang hehe", "Uy Crush kita charr joke lang "** maybe they're just embarrassed, or maybe through jokes they want to know what the reaction will be if it's taken seriously or not. End thoughts *Sometimes we laugh at tense jokes. Laughing at jokes make us happy* ***sabi nga nila diba madali mag pa iyak pero mahirap magpatawa o magpasaya.*** *I just want to say that the joke has a limitation and does not go beyond it. That the joke has become teasing, a joke that has become sarcasm, and a joke that hurts the feelings of others. Let's consider the feelings of others too.* Also, put it in the right place when you are joking just like during a serious discussion or maybe during class with your teachers and most of all to the person who is too sensitive. **Not all jokes are funny, some are offensive!** *My article are my opinion only, I write from my heart and from my experience. Thank you for reading my article.♡♡* **Lead image source**: https://pixabay.com/ -CringtheWriter

Toothache Brings Extreme Pain *In the extreme pain I am experiencing now. I want to cry and shout to release all the pain I want to get rid of it.* *But crying and shouting is not a solution. To cry is the only thing, I can do right now , and endure the extreme pain. It was like as if my head was being destroyed and my body could not move.* *I didn't notice , my tears suddenly flowed. Do you know the reason of my pain right now??* *I want to share with you that I have a very bad toothache. I looked for a pain killer when I checked out I couldn't find anything because there was no pain killer left. The only thing I can do is to cry and endure the pain of my toothache.* *Wait for the pain to go away and force myself to go to sleep so that when I wake up the pain will be gone. I'm writing this because maybe in my writing the pain will disappear that is funny right? I make a promise to myself when I have enough money I will go the dentist. I will not scared anymore.* *I just want to express my feelings. I don't want to open my mouth to speak because when I speak, the pain only increases.* ***"When the mouth can't speak, writing will do."*** *Before I sleep let me publishe this and .. good night. Sorry for short article.* **Lead image surce: google** Masakit ang ngipin CringTheWriter ;(

My Memories of my Grandparents *My memories of my grandparents I read @Ayane-Chan's article "How do You Remember Your Grandparents?" So I wrote my article for my answer to her article*. I don’t have many memories of my granparents. Because I didn’t see them and get along. My grandparents on my father's side already died, I haven't been born yet, the only ones with them are my two older brothers. A month after my grandfather died ,my third older brother was born. But my father always talked about grandfather and grandmother (story time) such like my grandmother was strict in terms of working. So my father, uncles, and auntie they followed the command of my grandmother immediately they're afraid to their mother. But my grandfather is kind and not strict. Dahil sina papa maaga silang ginigising ni lola para pumunta sa bukid."* My grandparents on my mother's side my grandfather died, all I saw and was with was my grandmother. Looking back the memories that we had I still remember even though I was young maybe I was 5 years old that time since ,I was studying kinder garten. That was the first time to have a vacation in my mother's place. I met my aunts, uncles cousins and especially my grandmother. She was happy that she met me together with my twin sister and little brother. When we arrived, my grandmother hugged us immediately. We are happy on our vacation we're able to bond with our cousin ,and grandmother. I still remember grandmother gave me a jacket and I liked it. I always worn it to school every time it rained because it was cold even at home. The cute jacket the color is light orange and has a bear design. *Grandmother was a happy person, loving her grandchildren and caring. She always asked if we had eaten or what her grandchildren wanted to eat.* Even in the short time I was with my grandmother I felt that she loved me as her grandchild as well as my siblings and cousins. When we left the vacation was over, we could only visit grandmother once because the trip was too far, riding a bus for 13 to 15 hours .Maybe the reason of why we rarely get a vacation then, because the fare was also expensive. On the way home, grandma hugged us tightly and gave us money (Grandmothers usually have their money wrapped in a handkerchief) It was also a long time before we visited my grandmother, on our second vacation grandmother was sick and until she died. End Thoughts That’s the only memories ,I have of my grandparents. My grandmother was with me only a short time when I was kid. Many people said that*"grandmothers love their grandchildren more than their children".* I don't know if that is true. On last September 12, 2021 celebrates the **Grandparent's Day** so Happy Grandsparent's day🎉 sa lahat ng lolo at lola even it is already late. Enjoy your time with your grandparent show how much you love them and take care of them. Hanggat kasama mo pa sila. **Lead image from google** Thank you for your time, and have a nice day!♡♡

I'm Not Good At Anything I’m not good at anything, I have no talent to show. When I was a kid I ask my mother, mom why I don't have a talent ? My mother replied that I'm still young. My teacher said when you grow up, you can discover your talents and skills where you are good at. Every year I'm getting older yeah I'm older now but still I haven't discovered where I'm good at. At school whenever there is an activity such as dancing or singing during "Foundation Day" and P.E subject. I was so nervous and embarrassed because I'm not good in dance and singing. All I can do is to give my best for the grade. Even though they laughed at me they called me a robot or a tree. "*Parang katawan ng puno na nakatayo lang"*.Because my body is not flexible and difficult to dance some dance steps. I need to sing and stand in front of my classmates and teacher for the plus points in my index card. Another embarrassment during grade 7 in our math subject. I sang "Patuloy ang Pangarap" by Angeline Quinto "that's the only song I memorized because that's our Graduation song in my elementary. My classmates and our teacher laughed at me because of my ugly voice. I almost cried because of embarrassment that time. I'm not into sports I remember we had activities in our P.E we played volleyball, basketball, and more. I'm scared to play volleyball should I say I'm scared to the ball what if my face hit the ball? it's painful right. I was so coward and don't know how to serve the ball, and the position of the hand. When I saw the ball flying and coming to my direction. Oh! goodness I closed my eyes or go to the other direction to avoid the ball !! I was embarrassed and asked for apology to my teammates because of me we got a low score. "*Grabing katangahan talaga ang pinaggagawa ko natatawa na lang ako pag naalala ko yan*" My friends help me they are kind, we bought a ball for volleyball every Saturday they visited in our house so that we can played volleyball. Since my one friend she is a volleyball player, she taught me some techniques and the right thing in playing of it. After that, I observed myself that I'm improving I'm not scared to the ball when we are playing, I did not avoid the ball. I faced it with confidence I said "Mine" then I hit the ball to the opponent. End Thoughts Now I'm old enough I realize many things that I don't need to be the best in everything. As long as I work hard and "madiskarte" I can stand in this world. I accept myself and think how blessed I'am , I'm happy and blessed with the everything I had especially to have a family. I need to focus on my studies than thinking on other things and I do the things where I’m interested in. Yesterday my sister asked my mother with the same question "Mom, why I don't have a talent? I don't know how to dance my mother answered: *it can be learned if you don't know how to dance then learn how to dance and work for it and the skills is can be learn. If you have a courage to learn then work hard.* Nakita ko ang aking kapatid na nag tiktok nag practise siya ng mga dance step may activity kasi siya sa isang subject na about dance.Habang pinanod ko siya I realize ayus din pala ang tiktok when you want to learn how to dance. Kaya sumali din ako. (hehe) ***Lead image source: chobirdokan.com***

A Day in My Life *I hope your day is good. In my article I want to share what happened in my life just today so "A Day in my Life"* ***Many things happened unexpectedly. What special happened today? Has my day been productive? So let's found out.*** My mother woke up early to prepare the materials, snack and lunch that my father would take to the farm and he also had someone with him to help with the farm. Mama cooked breakfast early and food for lunch. My both parents are early birds imagine that at 3: 00 am they are both awake. I always tell them that lack of sleep is bad for their health because they wake up early. My father will go to bed early at night after he ate dinner after a few minutes he will go to sleep unlike my mother will watch tv shows just like "Probinsyano and" Wag Kang Mangamba "that's her favorite drama in tv. They have the same problem when they wake up early, they can't go back to sleep. How my day started... ****House chores**** I also wake up early maybe 5:00 or 5:30 sometimes I lack of sleep but I can still manage to wake up early. I have coffee in the morning to warm my stomach and get rid of drowsiness. Then I get my knife and sack to get spinach (Kangkong) in the field.I chopped the spinach into tiny pieces then I mixed with "tahop" then I feed it to our pig. My mother and sister job in the morning is to take care of our 4 cows and 1 carabao. I cleaned the house, all surroundings and scrubbed the floor to make it shine. ****Online class**** In the afternoon I had a class my teacher announced in the morning that we have a meet up in google meeting for the Orientataion. Our techer discussed about the subject outline, grading system and learning outcomes. My classmate also shared their concern about the poor internet connection in their area. Our techer is kind and understanding of my classmate's situations. Then we had attendance when the teacher called our name we on (unmute) our microphone to say “Present”. In my other subjects, we don't have an online class. Our teacher just posted an activities in our Canvas. After my class we had lunch together with my mother and sister. I cooked Banana Chips because there was a raw banana given to us. I cooked 6 bananas only I peeled and sliced thin and the size just a normal size chips. I added sugar and stirred then fried in hot oil wait for it to turn golden and brown then ready to serve. ****Go to the farm**** Since I finished my class we went to the farm because my father was there so I brought banana chips for my father. In our farm we have a beautiful overlooking view. You can see mountains and the Balite Bay. My father is busy building our small hut as you can see in the picture the hut is not yet finish. To have a hut in the farm is a big help to have a shelter when it rains and a roof that protect us from the heat of the sun when we want to stay in the farm. We harvested our monggo and removed the weeds around the corn using the farming tools. The sad thing is the rats are destroying our crops. Yes, they eat the corn. **Accident happened** ***Accidents happen at any time or anywhere. So let's be careful*****.** Our farm is at the top of the mountain because it's 3:00 in the afternoon and I'm going to boil water for coffee because it's snack time already. I used woods to make a fire to heat the water. I picked up firewood because the road was slippery and on the mountain. I suddenly slipped while I'm carrying the woods with my two arms. When I slipped the firewood fell to the ground. My knee was injured and my arm had rashes as well. We are on our way home while walking on the difficult road, one wrong move you could roll into the abyss. I was wearing slippers because of the sharp small stones are painful in the foot. When suddenly again for the 2nd time I slipped I almost fall. I was so scared and nervous that time I thought I would fall into the abyss. Thanks God and I just fell down and never fell into the abyss. My mother’s reaction that time was shocked and she scolded me why, I wore slippers that should be barefoot only knowing the road is difficult. I was so careless that is why slipped again. I'm so scared that time so, I removed my slippers I walked barefoot and walked slowly down the mountain enduring the pain from the small sharp stones. Our home sweet home, our house is surrounded with flowers and coconut tree. When we got home it was dark the time is almost 6pm my sister was the only one left in the house to take care of our animals. When we got home she cooked rice already. We brought corn from the farm, she mixed it with the vegetables she cooked. After cooking, we ate immediately so that my mother and father could rest early because they were tired from the farm. After we ate, my mother had time to relaxed while watching her favorite television drama "Ang Probinsyano" and Wag kang Mangamba "while my father was already asleep. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ **CLOSING THOUGHTS** Those are the things that happened in my whole day. I'm happy that I shared it with you. For me it's just a normal day but what make it more special? It was special because I was with my loved ones my family all day. My life is simple and today I can say that my day is productive because I have done a lot of task and ,I helped my parents on our farm. Despite of accident that happened I am happy and thankful that I'm ok it's just a minor injury. While writing this article I am drowsy I plan to make my liquadation after, I finished writing my article but my drowsiness make me wanted to sleep maybe because my body is tired too. *My article "A Day in Life" is about my whole day events which is yesterday.* *Thank you for your support and for reading my article. Have a nice day everyone!* **Lead image source: my own photo** -CringtheWriter♡♡

-CringTheWriter

Myself is my Greatest Enemy Do you have an enemy? or someone you hate? If I were to be asked the answer would be no. Because my great enemy is MYSELF. This article is about myself how I was swallowed up by a negative things and the effects it had on me. And how I overcome it and accepted the reality. Why myself is my greatest enemy Have you experience that you want to do something but you are scared even if you haven't tried or done it yet? You have in mind that the result will not be good. I had in mind, I couldn’t afford to do it. I limit myself, I give up to try and to explore myself on the things that I want to do. I say it's hard "I can't do it" I always think it's hard so it sticks in my mind that I can't do it .I limit myself it is like "hey just stay there where you are , because you can't go anywhere or doing other things because you can't make it" So what happened was I didn’t do it and I regretted it. To make the story clear I will direct the point to the scenario. I am a college student I admit I was struggling with my course (major subject) at first I didn’t like my course. I had no choice that time my desire course was offered by private colleges and my family couldn’t afford it. So I enrolled in state college (public school) I am happy that I passed the entrance exam and admission exam. Upon entering you will choose your 3 choices of courses you want to take. My 3 choices of course are: 1st option - Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Second option - Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering 3rd option - Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science Based on my entrance admission result the school offered me, my first choice was BS Information Technology. I was so shocked that time, and feeling nervous while holding my Certificate of Registration checking my schedules and subjects. Yes, I enrolled BSIT but I don't like coding and programming stuff (funny) Changed happened Before covid-19 our class is face to face I don't have a problem in my studies because I study hard for me to passed my subjects. Everything is fine I always present in my class and do my obligation as a college student to study to passed quizzes and exams, do activities, and projects. But everything changed when pandemic started and my parent decided to transferred me from another school and go home to our province because I used to study in the city and I live with my auntie. I moved to my hometown I am currently studying at a State University. Due to the pandemic the mode of learning now is online class and modular for the safety of students, teachers and everyone. There I noticed that I changed myself because I'm a transferee I became an irregular student I was really sad that time. Additionally, I don't know any of my classmates make it even harder for me to find my classmates when the class started so that they can add me to group chats and group pages on facebook. Luckily, I found them someone replied my messages then she added me to their group chat and the help of my teacher's too they are kind and approachable. Procrastination and negative thoughts At the beginning of the classes I admit that I had difficulty adapting the changes. No acquaintance new school, new classmate, new teachers and online class new mode of learning and especially the pandemic. I have minor subject that I got from different department or different courses like in Engineering and Agribusiness. Like I mentioned I became an irregular student because there was a subject that was not credited from my previous school meaning I will not graduate on time. When I do tasks and activities I am always lazy. I always say that later, I will do it tomorrow and what happened later and tomorrow became weeks and months. I have a hard time focusing I can't focus doing my task in the morning so I wake up at night and early in the morning to do it. Procrastination always happens to me and negative thoughts ate me. Lack of confidence in myself. I always say it is difficult even I have never done or tried it. Until one day I did I realized that I could do it just takes time and more effort to make it. Wasted my time I didn’t do something in advance I regretted it. Looking back my post in my noise.cash account in my wall I titled my content "Myself" here is the link in my noise.cash account. https://noise.cash/u/nagumi Myself Am I the only one who experienced that sometimes I can't do something because I think I can't because it's hard. So I give up immediately without even trying. Until a few months I decide to do it, and I realize that I can do it, I can make it. It's just take more time to learn and more effort. So from that day I will try first before I give up on something so that I will not regret it one day. We must think that "we can do it" let's think positive and believe in ourselves. I research on internet about Procrastination One of the problem of myself is procrastination I need to stop and avoid this one. I always said later but later becomes weeks when I plan to do my school task. For me that's really a difficult problem in myself. So I make a research about procrastination I know there is a problem behind this why people procrastinate. And how we avoid this, my researched is a great help for me so, I share this also to everyone. People often procrastinate because they're afraid of failing at the tasks that they need to complete. This fear of failure can promote procrastination in various ways, such as by causing people to avoid finishing a task, or by causing them to avoid getting started on a task in the first place. To successfully deal with your procrastination, you need to figure out why you procrastinate and how your procrastination is preventing you from achieving your goals, so you can formulate a concrete plan of action, based on appropriate anti-procrastination techniques, that will help you deal with your reason for procrastination. Visit the link https://solvingprocrastination.com/why-people-procrastinate/ Just visit the link for you to understand the reason and the solution of that problem. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Closing thoughts Procrastination and because of being a negative thinker I called myself as my greatest enemy.Sometimes we ourselves are our greatest enemy, we always doubt in many things. We are afraid to take a step and do something. It takes courage and determination to take a step in our lives. We also need to believe in ourselves. Now I change myself for the better things I will avoid procrastination if I can do it now then I will do it. I won't allow this to become the barrier of reaching my goals in life especially in my studies. To have a positive mindset about life, I will no longer indulge in negative things. So I can say that myself no longer my enemy. Lead image from pinterest.com Thank you for your time reading my article. -CringTheWriter
