Meet the artist behind WaruPan

Don't be disarmed by his cute looks; WaruPan is meaner than your average bear. He believes in instant karma and pet peeves include stupidity and being annoyed. More so he is a representation of our inner most desires which we wish we could act out as he doesn't abide by societies  standards and rules.

**That's how the artists describes his main character which is available on Opensea but we are here to chat about Buu who is created on WAX .** **Hey** Hi **So let get into it how did you get discover NFTs?** A Family member and a friend brought it to my attention in August 2021 **Why did you choose WAX for your project ?** Wanted to have different entry points for Pabanda. Everything on Eth seems to be tied to WaruPan, Wax allows Buu the character to build away and apart from WaruPan. **What is the idea behind your project?** Pabanda(Buu, WaruPan) is actually not a project, it is a Brand. Pabanda is a Brand that sells NFTs. The Brand has clothing, comics, music and coming very soon an animated series on eth/wax and a game on wax. **When did launch?** Launched on Wax in January 2022 **How many NFTs have you dropped so far?** 8 on wax. **What was the first one you dropped?**

The Original Buu. **How did the community react?** The wax community is probably the best at receiving new artist. It felt like an album launch party. **What is the process of making your NFTs?** The process of making our NFTs starts with a conceptualizing a mental image of Waru mixed with something that has inspired or had an impact on our lives. Then from a sketch using different visual ideas and combining them to create a finalized product. So each piece is very special to us in an unique way. **What programs you use for creation?** The programs used vary depending on what we are trying to achieve . Procreate , illustrator , Final Cut pro/Premiere pro. **How long this each NFT take to create?**

**What is your favorite NFT you have made? Why ?** This is hard. I feel the music Video/Movie I have on OS is probably my favorite. It was a complete team effort using all talents from Music to Art. **Have you done any collabs?** Quite a few. **Who would be your dream collab?** Kaws and Nike **Are you a collector of NFTs?** Yes. I might have collected too much. **Who is your favorite NFT artist?** Hmmm I do not have one. I cannot separate the artist from the art anymore since joining and I love so many people in the space. **What has been the best part of doing your project?** The relationships I have developed across the globe. **What has been the hardest part?** Staying your course and not rushing. The mind goes crazy with Ideas and seeing people execute what you thought of sometimes forces your hand. **What does your family think of your project?** They love the brand, They do not know what to think of NFTs. **Have you introduced anyone to WAX?** Quite a few. **Do you land on uplift? If so where is it** I do but I do not know where it is lol. **What you like to do to unwind?** Make music and play Basketball. **Tell us something random about you?** I get anxiety speaking about my own Brand. **Where is the best place to keep up with the project?**
