When adulting one of the most important things you have to know yourself is budgeting of your money because if you can’t handle your money, you will just spent and spent it anywhere until there’s no money left in your pocket at all. Ever since I was student I was prudent in saving money, I remember back in the days that when I need money for projects, trips, other school related activities, I never asked money on my parents and I am the one who provide for myself, and now as an Employee when our salary came I already budgeting it for bills, food & transportation, other stuffs and savings as one of the most important thing that I will never forget. Which Quirk Would You Have?
Imagine you live in a world where quirk manifested to humans, ever wonder what kind of quirk you will have in your life? just like how it existed in the world of **Boku No Hero Academia**. For others who was not familiar with quirk in simplified terms it is a superpower possess by an individual just like the one you have seen in movies or in anime. Why I choose to say quirk than superpowers? Basically, it is related in one of the famous Shounen anime that I used to watched that is **Boku No Hero Academia**. It’s a story was about Izuku Midoriya and how he become the greatest hero of all, from his origin and how he gained his quirks from being quirkless. I’m always updated on it’s manga as well as it’s animated series and this year they well have new season which is season five. I would love to list down some good quirks that also I want to possess if ever I had a chance so better sit there and read my article if you want.
IZUKU MIDORIYA (ONE FOR ALL)
KATSUKI BAKUGO (EXPLOSION)
Ever since the beginning his quirk was one of the most awesome quirks introduced in the anime not just that Bakugo’s attitude and personality inclined better in his quirk which made him a badass but a cool one. Imagine you have this quirk but you’re a timid and gentle person this will not fully awaken its full potential unlike Bakugo who is crude, arrogant and aggressive person.
SHOTO TODOROKI (HALF COLD, HALF HOT)
Another greatest quirk that was ever introduced in the series and my favorite among all, I would love to posses this quirk that Todoroki possess. Imagine you control fire and ice, it’s like the combination of Natsu and Gray from Fairy Tail and it is a perfect combination. This quirk was definitely suited to Shoto and I like how the author create his character from being a cold and unemotional to being friendly and as always he was calm and cool one.
MOMO YAOYORUZU (CREATION)
Imagine having this kind quirk you can create anything that is non living material that you want, you can also build a house from this and complete all appliances but of course you need to digest a lot of food because this quirk was based on transforming molecular structure of your own fat cells. I will prefer to have this if I want to saved a lot of money and this is more convenient for myself.
DENKI KAMINARI (ELECTRIFICATION)
One of the elemental quirks that will come in handy in battle just like Pikachu who is electrical type and Laxus from Fairy Tail, it is awesome to possess this quirk but this will be ineffective if your against a rubberman like Luffy. Overalll this quirk is a good one that I list in probable quirk that I want.
There’s still a lot of more good quirks that can be place in this list but for me this my top five so far in no particular order, what quirk would you have? A quirk that can be a weapon like scythe, a quirk that explode, a quirk that can be enhanced your physical strength, a superspeed and etc. This will be possible if I live in a world like in Boku No Hero but still it will just a fantasy for we live in a real world with ordinary people, this is just a What If for me, hope you like my article though as I always say this might be a little boring hehe, Thank you for your time reading!
Is Shaman King Reboot Will Be Good?
Anime community was shaken when a sudden news spread out. It is regarding about the reboot and remake of one of our favorite anime Shaman King. Shaman King was one my childhood anime that watched on television, I remember every morning watching it in one of Pinoy channel and the dubbed in Filipino language was really good. So, what can we expect on the reboot of Shaman King? Will it be good and same as the original anime series? Well let’s talk and find about that.
A lot of news and post from social medias spread immediately that the old Shaman King that we love will have a remake and reboot this coming April 2021 that will be aired in Tokyo first before to other country and websites. When I was a kid I remember all of the good scenes and battle fights in Shaman King and also memorized the line of protagonist “YOH ASAKURA” in Filipino like this, “AMIDAMARU SA LOOB NG HARUSAME”, this kind of line was trademark before but since the anime didn’t able to complete the series at television, I finished its English subtitle with a pirated DVD before. This anime was kind of nostalgic that’s why when I also heard that it would have a remake, I expect this will be good. Last December 22, 2020 its first trailer for rebooted Shaman King finally debuted and my expectation turns out to be right. The animation improved a lot, the graphics and character look seem different than the first anime series, you can see that Manta, Yoh, Anna’s eyes were not the same as before, also the Oversoul was kinda cool too but overall based on the first trailer you will know that it will be good. Hiroyuki Takei the author of Shaman King was really good, and he really made some big effort on this manga, although the first anime series didn’t have the same ending as manga, now the reboot of Shaman King will be following the complete version of it and that’s one of the most awesome thing that the we’ve been hoping to see in this reboot of Shaman King.
As I said earlier this anime was scheduled for a release this coming April 2021 and it was 2 months left before we can this series now, although we can see in the trailer this is just the first arc of Shaman King when Manta meet’s Yoh Asakura, following the battle with Ren Tao and getting ready for the Shaman Fight when he was destined to become the Shaman King and there’s a lot more to expect from this. As I finished the original anime, I have more stronger expectation on the reboot and hoping that this will be as successful as the first one, I know it’s hard to expect reboot anime but there are other anime series that’s been reboot and it was so much better, just like Hunter x Hunter 2011 & Dragonball super that a lot of anime fans love to be watched. Here’s a good thing that I forgot to tell the new series will be featuring some returning voice actors from the 2001 anime that I’ve loved so much. Starting with the voice actor of Amidamaru, ***Katsuyuki Konishi***, voice actor of Anna Kyoyama ***Megumi Hayashibara***, and voice actor of Hao Asakura ***Minami Takayama*** confirmed to be the voice of the same character again but sad to say that the one who voice Yoh Asakura before ***Yuko Sato*** will be replaced by ***Yoko Hikasa***.
Fans including like me will keep an eye on this new project and how will this reboot shines as one of the best remake, will see about this when this anime will be released. Bad Day? Tomorrow’s Another Day
Everyday in our life we faced a lot of things, achievements, trials and problems. I know some of you are happy right now, some of you are grieving, some of you are sad and some you are having a bad day, but the day will end right? remember that tomorrow’s another day. Why do I end up tackling this? Because I know some people are having a bad day today and it might help them. I’ve been through this since yesterday and having a deep thought about what’s happening in myself and I’ve overcome it, that’s why I want to share it to others through this article, I know this might be a boring article but even it is a boring one hope this will help others.
For others that didn’t know me I will give you a small detail about myself. I am an IT Specialist working in a private company, doing support in my main branches and visiting other branches under our company. I ride public vehicle everyday to go to work but since we faced pandemic the public vehicle was prohibited in our country that’s why I’m using bicycle everyday to go to work cycling 20km every day. Why do you need to know this? Because it is related on having bad day. Cycling is good for our health but if you do it for 6 days everyday it is tiring and that’s what I do up until know, you also need to wake up everyday and I’m used to it but yesterday was one of the baddest day I have in my life. As I mentioned earlier, I’m riding a bicycle when going to work and yesterday something bad happened when I’m on my way to work the tire on the back of my bicycle flattened and almost hit an accident but thank God, I’m safe. I reported it to my manager, and I advised that I will be late, and he agreed, luckily, I’m almost near to my office and have to walk for about 5kms. Fast forward I arrived late on my office and I have a lot of things to do and started all the work, bad omen is still with me that time, the equipments and CCTV at the office suddenly broke that’s why I need to fixed it ASAP I finished it in due time and went back to IT Room, then the marketing manager request an assistance to me that I need to setup computer on conference room, I did what they asked and I set it up completely. I am very tired on all the things that I went through on that day that’s why I rest for a bit on the conference room to relaxed while watching some clips then suddenly one marketing staff enter the room, I didn’t notice that she captured a photo of the room with me watching clips on my phone and heard her saying that “wow, your so relaxed and doing nothing ehh” then she laughed but I didn’t care. After that my manager suddenly call me on the phone and guess what the marketing staff sent the photo to my manager, I was scolded by my manager of course but not that much and he remind me to be careful next time because there are eyes everywhere and some even have insecurities in our department that includes the marketing, after the call I was really upset and my day isn’t looking good but despite all that I take a deep breath and work until our time out and went home and the day ends.
All the things that happened on that day was really bad and it made me think that I need to resign now but also there’s a part of myself that if I let my emotions on this I lost to this toxic people. This day was not definitely for me and we may face a lot of trials & problem in our life, but the day will end and a new one will rise that waiting for us. Positive thinking helps me a lot there’s a saying that I once seen on the internet here it is but didn’t know who quoted it, “Life always offers you a second chance. It’s called tomorrow” – Anonymous, I remember this and suddenly gave a smile on my face that’s why even I have a bad day it turns out to be an ordinary day. There’s another thing that I want to tell before ending this article if you have a bad day today, close your eyes, bend on your knees and pray to GOD, He hears and Comfort us, God is always there for you just reach yourself to him and I know your bad day will be changed into good one, trust me this works a lot. Best Studios of Resin Figures
Anime really influenced me in a lot of way and that includes collecting figures. Despite we have pandemic, figure collection was still a thing and the toy community was keep getting bigger and bigger here in the Philippines even influencer’s start to collect figures right now. I have seen a lot of famous influencer’s getting resin’s collection from themselves and included them in blogging that’s why a lot of people attract to collect too. Resin figures was one of the expensive merchandises you could ever have and collecting figures of it was not that easy unless you have a lot of money, you still have a choice if you want cheaper you can go with bootleg figures that is made of PVC or invest in quality figures that was made in Resin. As of today, there’s a lot of resin release of different anime and a lot of studio’s was just beginning now in this industry but if you want trusted and quality resin’s here the studio for you, I will share a list of recommended studios that brought awesome resin figures for you to have.
DREAM STUDIO
Dream Studio was one of the studios that brought licensed figures of Monster Trio that become hype last 2020. The quality of figures they release was superb and highly recommended, the details from the face, body and base of every figure that manufactured of this studio was in high quality, every penny that will spend on this figure are totally worth it. The figures that they released were all of the same height and scale, its height range from 37 cm / 15 inches the scale of it was included in 1/5 scale. For the price of figures, it would range from 16,000 pesos up to 20,000 pesos and if you convert it in US Dollars it is 330 - 415 US Dollars. As of the moment the figures that they released was only few, the Monster Trio above was one good example of figures they created but we can expect more.
TSUME
TSUME was one of the famous manufacturers of Resin in Europe, it also one of the resin studios I first discovered and definitely one of the best. Their creation was display in different conventions and they are known worldwide. As I mentioned earlier, they were one of the best resin studios out there and you can see it from their creation, **“PERFECTION”**, that’s the only word I can say from the figures they created. Tsume not just focus on one anime, they created Resin figures from best anime series that we have watched and known unlike Dream Studio that only focus on One Piece. Tsume Resin figures have different scales from 1/8 to 1/1 Scale they have a lot to offer to you. Let’s talk about their prices since it was based on Europe the currency for it was in Euro and normally the price of the cheapest resin figures was 60 Euro up to 3000 Euro which if it is converted to peso it would cost 3,500 up to 175,000 pesos. It is really expensive that’s why I am enjoying myself watching influencer’s unboxing figures from this studio.
LAST SLEEP STUDIO
Last Sleep Studio was one of the talk in toy community as of the moment since they released the image of the their latest creation **“Luffy On The Throne”** see image above. The toy community shook and amazed on this figure, look how cool and awesome was it, all of the enemies that encountered by Luffy were included in this figure. Last Sleep Studio was also the same as Tsume that not just focus on one anime but created different resin figures from different animes. The scale of its figures was from 1/8 up to 1/4 Scale which was not that bad and good for display. The price of every figures was of course still expensive since it is made from resin, the price range for figures starts at 600 US Dollars to 1200 US Dollars. A lot of collector’s made pre order on the latest creation and can’t wait to see unboxing of it from another collector.
These three studios were the currently known studios that I have seen a lot in toy community but there are others that making a name for themselves and starting to have a name. These popular studios already made a mark on toy industry and we can expect more a lot from them, can’t wait to have mine soon but as of now the statues that I have was only KO since I cannot afford one yet. Sasha’s Death? It Just the Beginning!
Have you watched and seen the latest episode of Attack on Titan Final Season? Well, you know what I mean, and you know what happened in that episode, it is the death of our Potato Girl Sasha Braus, it become a trend in different social media and a lot of anime fans cried about it but well for manga readers we already know it and moved on, but still being animated and seen it bring back the feels. MAPPA Studio made a great job on animated it and just want to share this information that Attack on Titan always placed in trend and number 1 in rating of all the latest anime, also the record of it from just 8 episodes was 9.20 rating and it almost reach the FMA Rating that is 9.21 and we will expect to see more that’s why we can expect this would be number 1 in the next weeks. Attack on Titan will reach its conclusion soon and as you have seen in the latest episode, one of the characters we love reach her end it's sad but AOT fans have to accept it. You think that’s the only one? wait there’s more! It is just the only the beginning, that’s what we will discuss right now and I’m warning you anime readers that this article of mine might have spoilers on it and be ready, so without further ado let’s get it on.
Attack on Titan was really one of famous anime & manga around the world today since it was serialized in 2009 and animated by WIT Studio in year 2013 and this year 2021 it will come to an end. Ever since it was animated, I was hooked by its story and it was a good series, from the time the main protagonist **“*****EREN”****,* seek revenge on Titans, trained and became Titan himself, we also see character developments from all the characters especially on Eren from being the protagonist now in the final season he became antagonist. There were some part of series that I don’t like especially the part where they battle humans inside the wall instead Titans that they want to know more about, we have seen this part in Season 3 but still it is canon so better bear with it. Let’s get back to the latest episode, I know some anime fans were definitely still can’t move on with it but brace yourselves for more because there are other main characters that the role will end and up until know other readers still predicting what will be the end of Attack on Titan. Hajime Isayama (the author) said it himself that Attack on Titan will have a dark ending and base on the latest chapters it is the beginning of breaking your heart, Isayama said in an interview that he want to hurt the readers that there’s a betrayal and a lot of tragic things will happen also he said that the ending will gonna leave a mark and remain in our heart the sample Isayama said was, quote from him “It Phenomenolly Hurt Me, It's Those Kind Of Experience I Am After", what can you get based on his saying? It will definitely a bad ending and it will hurt more not just manga reader but anime watcher as well.
What my title implies was right you know, expect more tragic and sadder scene in anime unless you have read up to the latest chapter in Manga. Attack on Titan definitely made a mark in the anime industry and even it may end soon, it will always remain in our heart, Salute, Sasageyo! Will the Two Yonkou Lose to The Worst Gen Pirate? (One Piece)
The famous manga and animated series One Piece is almost reaching its conclusion and we all know that the author himself Eiichiro Oda said that it will end by 5 years. The arc of One Piece is in Wano Arc right now and this is one of the coolest arcs so far, we also have seen and read the back story of Pirate King himself Roger but if you are just only an anime watcher, I'm sorry if I spoil you more. I know a lot of fans know about what I want to talk about know and even seen the latest chapter but again if you didn't know about this, yet I am really sorry since my article have a lot of spoilers. So gonna start my One Piece related article.
One Piece begun in 1997 and can't believe that it get this far and run for almost 24 years and still running. This anime and manga were really awesome and fantastic just how the genius Oda created it. One Piece created another milestone and it had released a thousand chapters now and the new chapters was really interesting. I know others wants animated than reading manga but it's more fun reading than just watching One Piece, there's also a lot of parts in the manga that was not release in the anime itself. Moving on the latest chapter I have yet seen and read another spoiler for the upcoming chapters and we saw from the previous chapters that the two Yonkou's which is Kaido & Bigmom versus the worst generation, which is Luffy, Zoro, Law, Kid and Killer. This part of the manga was one of the latest spotlights of the 1000 Chapter of One Piece and the title itself on the manga was about the main protagonist. This part of the manga rocked the One Piece fans and it’s a big talked of everyone, how cool Luffy standing in front of his two powerful enemies and able to launch an attack on Kaido, it gives goosebumps on all the fans including me, that part was really hype, cool and perfect for it’s title **“STRAW HAT LUFFY”**.
After the 1000 chapter released, a lot of fans created a theory and imagine what will be the outcome on this battle, this follows the question and the reason why I have this title, could the worst generation pirates beat the two powerful emperors? Only the author himself and the genius one **“ODA”** could answer that, but it doesn’t mean the readers and fans can’t predict on what will happened in this battle. As a fan of One Piece of course I want Luffy to success on his dream on becoming a pirate king someday but before that he needs to face a lot of opponents including the emperors, we also want him to beat all his opponents, but this time will be really different. If you had watched or read One Piece from the beginning, we all have seen that there’s a lot of event where Luffy almost die and it is not also impossible in this battle, the two enemies played a big major role and cannot be easily defeated, they cannot get the title as one of the emperors of the sea in the manga/anime if they were not so strong. We will see more battles in the upcoming chapters, if you have read the chapters 1001 and 1002 the battle in that chapters were so intriguing and literally a battle of century, we have seen the worst gen powerful attacks against kaido and Kaido said himself that they the worst generation pirate were all strong and tough but not as tough as him, although it affects him but not that much. I know this part of manga was one of the best to be animated in the future and I hope this soon will come, can’t wait for it.
I know that Luffy and the worst generation can beat this two yonkou but it will be literally hard as ever, this is one of the biggest obstacle that our main character encounter, hope no one will die in this battle because it will be hard to us fans to accept and it’s another heartbreaking part just like what happened to Ace in marineford war. Fans also expect more spotlight to our future greatest swordsman, Zoro on what he will do in this battle in just 2 chapters we saw that even Kaido was afraid on Sword of Oden “Enma” and there’s more to come. For readers out there I am really sorry that this is full of spoilers, but this is just the beginning of best arc in One Piece, also this is the road of Luffy in becoming the Pirate King. Resin Figures at Its Finest
Figure collection was one of the best things I discovered in my life and it becomes a hobby of mine, hunting figures, buying figures in shop or online, trade figures to other collector’s, almost all the thing that a figure collector too I’m done that but there’s one thing that left to do in this hobby of mine. What is that? And why for 2 years still didn’t try it? It’s not that I want to try it and collect it, but the problem is I cannot afford it yet and these figures was too expensive and pricey for me, that is collecting **RESIN FIGURES.** Action figures are the toys for big boys though others who cannot appreciate it may call us childish, but they can’t stop us because we love this kind of thing. So, what’s this resin figure thing? Is it different from a regular figure? Well, that’s what we gonna find out now come and join me as we unfold what this resin figure was.
WHAT IS A RESIN FIGURE?
Resin figure was still a figure the only difference from it was it was created from a different material. A regular figure was usually made of **PVC** (Polyvinyl chloride) that is a plastic while resin was figures that looked likes made from glass, a resin is made of sticky liquid that when heated it forms and created something that is strong and good quality. If money was not problem to you or in simple terms you are rich, resin figure was the right figure for you, why do I suggest that because **RESIN FIGURES** were truly cool, awesome, perfect figures for every collector, every details of this figure were made perfectly from the face, the body, the base and everything about it was so perfect in my sight you cannot say bad things about it on my opinion. I’m amazed to people that able to collect this kind of figure because I can say this is also investment. Some may ask why this writer reaction on figures were this much because as a collector it’s like you’re in the top notch of collectors that able to collect the rarest and the highest grade of all in figure collecting. Resin figure were not just a regular figure, they have different sizes base on the collector’s want but usually the average height of resin was 14 - 18 inches and weighs around more than 7 to 15 kilos or more. One of the good things about resin figures was it was licensed based on the studio who created it and another thing to know about it was the production was very limited unlike a regular figure that have continuation of production, for example a resin figure of Luffy was released by Dream Studio and the figure that was made was only 100, and this is where the licensed came in, there’s a licensed plate separate from the figure itself and it has a count on it, it is like this “20/100”.
HOW MUCH DOES A RESIN COST?
This is one of the FAQ (frequently asked question) in toy community of other newbie collectors because they were curious about it, well if you are also curious, you’re on the right track to have a little knowledge about it. The prize of the cheapest that a regular resin figure cost was around 5,000 pesos or 100 US Dollars and the most expensive as far as I know was 200,000 US dollars that was ever made. There’s a recent release and made by Last Sleep Studio who is ready for pre order and will be released in 3rd quadrant of the year, the suggested retail price for it was around 102,000 pesos and for preorder price is 92,000, see image below for reference.
It is the basic knowledge I know so far in resin figure because I don’t have one yet but maybe if I have a extra income or I will wait again for my 13th month I will try to buy one in the near future, for now I will just watch the unboxing of others and enjoy just by seeing it, I know that someday I can have mine too, it’s not that I’m not contented on what figure that I have but for me you have to upgrade and go the next level. A Day Called Day Off
Each of us have our own life that we face in every day. Whether it was a good day, bad day, happy day, sad day and any day as long as we are alive, we need to face it. A lot of us spend our time in our work, in our business, some were still students, others were relaxing and have a vacation, but this is one of thing that lessen now because of pandemic. So why I am talking about this kind of thing? Because it is related to what I'm about to discuss now even you’re not asking a question, it is about the "DAY OFF".
When you heard the word "day off" of course it was always related to a break of someone working and you are right about it but why I even come up with it? Does this thing very essential to you? Yes, it is, All I can say that it has played a major role and it is very essential to me here's why. I worked every day for 6 days at a private company as an IT Professional, doing support on different branches, maintaining a good connection on network & internet, created systems, troubleshoot problems on computer software & hardware and all IT related concerns in our company. It is my everyday life not just that since we still in pandemic riding in public utility vehicle is not allowed so I rode my bicycle every day and running for about 20km so how was that? There’s also a time that I need to work overtime just to finish a rush task. That’s why having **DAY OFF** is very essential to me and I need to rest but what I typically do in this type of day? Well let me tell you what are the things that I’m doing in this kind of day.
The day when my day off fall was Sunday and of course we know that Sunday is Lord’s day, and we need to have a day with him even just for a day. When my day off falls I usually sleep a lot, I will wake up always either 12pm in the afternoon or 11am was the earliest and because of that I tend to skip breakfast everytime. When I got up on my bed, I didn’t immediately go in the dining room but of course gonna wash my face then gargle water in mouth then have my lunch at the time. This happens always on my Day Off but I didn’t forget what day this is even it is my rest day, I still give my time to Lord for all the blessings came to Him that’s why giving my time to the Lord was one of the thing I can give back for all everything He did in my life. Since gatherings with a lot of people in churches still not allowed, I always watched live service and have my time full until the service was finished. Once the service was finished there’s still a time and a lot to do, if you have seen my previous articles you know that I am an anime toy collector and not just that I also sell so my other time was spent in selling figures. Although it was a busy day even it is my day off, I spend the rest of it by watching some anime series and playing online games and tomorrow will be back to my lifestyle and back to work again. I’m used to this kind of living but even with that it is fun, atleast I know myself that even it is my day off I am productive.
Though this day was not special for others for me it is very important, some may say that why don’t you find another job, there’s a lot out there, my answer on it was, I am still happy with my work although a lot of my time was spent on it, it is okay as long as I’m happy and still growing as an indivdual it is enough. A simple day for others but for me this day called **DAY OFF** meant a lot to me. A Nostalgic Game Called DOTA
A lot of games today continue to dominate the gaming world, either it is in console, computer or in mobile phones. Gamer’s sprout in different ages and even older people that in their late 50’s still playing today, it’s not usual in today’s modern time but we need to accept it. So, what kind of games this people tend to play in their age? As the technology was evolving so as the games you can play anytime with your smartphones, offline or online but the most trending in today was the game you called **“Multiplayer Online Battle Arena” or MOBA** for short. A lot of streamers in different ages show up following the trends of this MOBA games especially here in the Philippines and a lot of them was either playing the MOBA game **“MOBILE LEGENDS”** or **“WILD RIFT”**. Why am I telling them? Because it was related to the discussion that we about to untold and basically as my title implies it is about the game “**DEFENSE OF THE ANCIENTS”, DOTA** for short. So better start now or never and please enjoy your stay while reading my article.
DOTA one of the most famous game that I used to play when I was a student myself, from Highschool up to College days, this game was one of my stress relievers and it is fun playing of course with your friends. I know others were familiar in this game but there were also some asking what kind of game is this? So, let me tell you about it, DOTA is also a MOBA game and it is one of the MOD/MAPS that you can be able to play in **“Warcraft III Frozen Throne**”, either online with the use of application such as Garena before or play it through the LAN network. As you know since DOTA was a MOBA game the goal of it was to destroy the base of each team in order to win and end one’s game. DOTA was divided between two teams which is “The Sentinel” in the left side and “The Scourge on the right side then of course the player will choose their character that was called HERO with different abilities. This game involves strategy and good gameplay of course you cannot be able to win just by yourself you need teamwork with your teammates so that you can be able to destroy the enemies base. You need fast hands too that’s number one requirement in this game if you are not yet that good well you can be a food in your enemy but still it’s up to you how you play the game. This game doesn’t have a tutorial in order for you to learn either your friends will teach you how to play it or practice yourself against Artificial Intelligence (AI) / BOTS. It is easy to learn as long as you put your time and patience learning it.
Why my title says that it was nostalgic? It is because that DOTA 1 era was over, you cannot see players anymore that playing it, computer shops were closed and if ever there’s an internet shop that was open the players tend to play the latest MOBA game which is **“LEAGUE OF LEGENDS” OR “DOTA 2”**. I used to play it with my close friends and classmates whenever we have time especially after class in high school also same when I am in college. DOTA has been part of my life, it helps me enjoy quality time with my friends and also a stress reliever when I want to do nothing. I remember before that some of my allowance were used to pay for the rent on the computer shops whenever we decided to play. It is a little bit sad that we cannot go back on time anymore to play this kind of game because we need to face reality and focus on life goals just what I am doing right now, also I am too busy with work and the other time will be used in my life. This game brought good memories that’s why it is so nostalgic.

Friends for Keeps
Every living thing in this world have someone that they can rely on their life, even it is animals and for us humans we rely to each other and we have what we called **FRIENDS**. I know there were other people that choose to be alone rather to be with others and there’s a time that I am like that but remember there’s a saying that no man is an Island, and we need people that will help us in our lives. I have a lot of friends outside our house when I was a child, I used to play with them always, playing traditional Filipino games like “Patintero”, “Luksong Baka”, “Tumbang Preso” and more but when I’m getting older I distant myself to them because they’re not a good influence anymore, so they were only just my childhood friends. It’s just a brief on my article right now, I don’t know if this will be long but hope you will like this article so gonna start now.
Ever since I was child, I have a lot of friends, I met them while playing Filipino tradional games, others in playing card **“Teks”**, others in **“Pogs”**, and others via gadgets that includes consoles and computers. I am happy meeting each and one of them but as the time goes by some of them while growing were going in the wrong path, I’m telling others that it’s not the right path, but they are ignoring me so I just distant myself and live my own life. I am a certified addicted in online games that’s why I have a lot of virtual friends, but I didn’t even meet them their just my friends in games not in real life. When I’m growing up my world was focused on gadgets because on what happened on my childhood friends instead on joining them, I take my own path. I still see my friends outside but not joining them anymore and this when my highschool life comes, this is where I met my friends that I say for keeps in my life. My high school buddies were definitely the one I treasure in my life they became my best buddies up until now and they are the best. Our group of friends we called it “**DOTA KAEN TULOG”**, we created it because we love to play DOTA 1, every end of our school we will go to computer shop to play DOTA 1 and that’s our hobby everyday that’s why our group name become like that. When we graduated in High School, we choose different paths, some were schoolmate in certain university, some went to province and we divided in different university. Although there are times, I was bullied by them but it just through teasing it’s not like a real bully but a bully of friendship hehe. When I needed them, they were always there for me, accompany by them, advising me in my problems and strengthens me when I am down, that’s what I love about these guys, they are my true friends that’s always there for me, in good times and bad times they were there.
We graduated in all of our courses, a lot of us choose to be IT Professionals while others are Engineers, Accountants, Seaman and Professor. I am happy that we achieve all our dreams, but we never forget each other, everytime we have a free time or there’s an occasion we reunite and see each other to eat, bond and remember the old times. It was fun and it was nostalgic all our memories during our highschool life were truly fun and now that we are adults, we focus on important matters that we need. On our last reunion we said that who will be the first one to have family, even we have stable income others still saving money and that includes me, but who knows for us our friendship will last long and truly I can say that they the friendship that for keeps in my life. Go-Tōbun no Hanayome (The Quintessential Quintuplets) Anime & Manga Review
Pandemic affected us in a lot of ways, our work, our income, our lifestyle and everything that we do changed. In Philippines our government declared lockdown for almost 3 months last year because of the pandemic and in that times since I cannot go to my job, I had other things to do and that includes watching anime. I watched a lot of anime and even rewatch longer series that I have watched before, for example Naruto & One Piece and other anime that can be found on the internet. Recently one anime had catched my attention and just finished it the other day, but it was release last 2019, It’s “**Go-Tobun No Hanayome”** or known as **“The Quintessential Quintuplets”**. I don’t know why I caught by this anime, but I find this interesting that’s why I downloaded it then watched the series, I don’t regret seeing this anime because this is so good for me and I like it. Anyway, before I proceed more in discussing it, my article may contain some spoilers because I just finished the manga now but I will not reveal it all, I wanna say sorry if ever I tell something that may spoil so without further ado I will start my not so boring article.

This anime was about a certain guy named Uesugi Futaro who was an intelligent guy and came from a poor family that later found himself tutoring five people who are quintuplet’s sister that had no interest in studying and he needs to do everything to made them pass and graduate in school and the story goes on as the character developed romance in each girl. If you want to know more you better watch it or read the manga but as I warned you guys that I will tell other spoilers so better watch out.

I love the way the author writes and created this wonderful manga to the point it was animated, from the character developments and the romance he created for every girl on the quintuplets to Futaro. I love all of them but my most favorite among all the quintuplets if I have to choose, I will choose Ichika, she’s a perfect waifu and she’s definitely my type. I finished the series in just one day and can’t move on it, that’s why I decided that I will read the manga. I read it from the beginning even I have seen it animated and it was fun reading, there were parts that were not animated as usual, but it was okay because all the good parts were also elaborated in anime. 2 hours ago, I finished reading all 122 chapters and I have mixed emotions, I laughed, I almost cried but I never show it because others may see me in my work and at home haha, and I was thrilled from reading manga and watching this anime. Although the second season was released now, I didn’t wait and already finished the manga, but I will watch the anime once it was finish.
All I can say that this anime & manga was really good for me, the story, the plot overall it was awesome, if I can give it a rating from 10/10 it is perfect for me nothing more, nothing less. For other people that have seen this anime you know that Futaro will marry one of the girls, right? Guess who’s that? Uhmmm not gonna tell but it was worth reading, each of the quintuplets grows in every chapter and they have a certain spotlight in each chapter, you will also guess if the girl futaro met before was that but you can be wrong, expect the unexpected, one spoiler that I can tell was all of the quintuplets fall for Futaro and even all of them have kissed him. If you want to know more about them better watch it or read it’s manga so you gonna know the Quintuplets, by the way I forgot to drop the names of the Quintuplets let’s start from eldest, **Ichika**, next to her was **Nino**, next to Nino was **Miku**, next to Miku was **Yotsuba**, and the youngest was **Itsuki**. Each of this sister have unique characteristics so better encounter them know in anime or in manga, this anime is worth to watch and its manga was worth to read. Grandista Figure 101
Well well what do we have here again? Another figure to discuss? It’s been a while since I posted again related on figures and guess what’s the topic for today, **“GRANDISTA”**. New year, new collection of figures to collect? Am I right? but as of now I’ve been tight to budget since the pandemic is still there and we need to prioritize first our needs. So what are we waiting let’s start the talk.
WHAT IS GRANDISTA FIGURE?
**GRANDISTA** figures are one of a figure line that a collector wants to collect either its all in this line or combination with other figures, this Grandista figures were manufactured by our favorite toy company, Banpresto and the figures they created was from the famous animes that includes my favorite of all anime, One Piece joined with Naruto and the anime that part of our childhood Dragonball. As of now I didn’t know other Grandista figures but I have seen such as Rockman, Jojo Bizarre Adventure but the famous was the 3 anime that I already told. A Grandista figure height all the same from 10 inches to 11 inches and it’s a good set of collection.
HOW MUCH DOES ONE GRANDISTA FIGURE COST?
For the price of Grandista usually it starts with the price of 850 pesos for a preorder figure but for it’s suggested retail price it’s usually 1000 pesos or more depends on volume and rarity of figure that you want to buy. Some of the Grandista figures cost up to 2500 that’s far of the expensive price I know as of the moment.
WHAT COULD YOU SAY ON THE QUALITY OF GRANDISTA FIGURE?
The quality of figure was indeed remarkable, from the details of the figure, the height of it, the texture, all of it was high quality, it is well made by Banpresto and the good thing about it was authentic, nothing more nothing less.
WOULD YOU RECOMMEND GRANDISTA FIGURE?
My answer if I recommend it or not, my answer was definitely Yes! This are the sample of the grandista that I owned and it’s definitely worth for its price. These figures were first of the authentic figures that I bought ever since I start collecting. The only problem on Grandista figures was the design and figures created were just limited. Since One Piece was my favorite anime, its the figures I bought in this line but the available characters so far you can buy in the market was, Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Ace and Law although I want to complete the straw crew the others has not yet created. There are incoming One Piece figures which is Nero Grandista but as of now only Luffy was released and I’m waiting for Zoro and Sanji I already pre ordered it hehehe so that I cannot missed it and add to my collection. If you plan to collect this line was one of the best and it is very affordable, you can also bought figures at a lower price but expect it that was either BIB or Loose or either it has some minor issues in details or broken peg.
FRIENDLY TIP AND ADVICE TO COLLECTORS:
Grandista figures was one of the affordable figures and best line in the market, all I can that it was so solid and worth collecting, you gonna see it for yourself to know what I’m saying. I love all my figures and this line was one of the best collection I have but still it depends on your taste, what you want to collect and if it can manage by your budget. What Anime World Will You Choose?
In our life we face a lot of problems that sometimes we cannot endure and mess up in everything, wishing that you not exist in this world well that’s life we have to face reality but does there a time in your life you wish that you live in different world? What kind of world I am talking about? Well I am talking about anime world, I want to go there, live there and experience what they experience but it is only a fiction, an entertainment that brings us joy, sadness and to be honest anime help me a lot when I experience stress and depression but it’s not really way deeper and I’m glad anime was really a big help to me. So, what I want talked about was that if you have a day, a choice, a dream or a time that you would transport in anime world which would you choose? Here’s some of the list and preferred world that I would visit if I had a chance, I’m also informing you that the list that I will provide was based on my taste and opinion, you can choose also on your own but since I made this I will share and provide it you guys.
ONE PIECE (PIRATE WORLD)
Of course, this is my priority, living in the world of pirate where you compete in finding One Piece but instead of creating my own crew, I preferred to join to our captain Monkey D. Luffy and help him fulfills his dreams in becoming a Pirate King and obtained the greatest treasure of all, One Piece. Not just that I will also become a strong individual so that I will be deserving to be part of his crew and if I had given a chance, I would love to have a strong devil fruit that can be a big help on my crew. One Piece was my favorite anime overall if ever I have only one chance I will choose to be in this world.
NARUTO (SHINOBI WORLD)
My second choice that I would prefer to visit was the Shinobi World from Naruto where I will train myself as a Ninja and join the ranks in the hidden village of the leaf. Since I’m becoming a ninja in this world, I will be able to learn a lot of ninjutsu that I can used in missions and battles which is the one that I love the most. For me this world was the second world that I would love to visit but if I have a lot of option this world is included in my bucket list.
BLACK CLOVER & FAIRY TAIL (WIZARD WORLD)
Black clover was also one of the anime in the list though Fairy Tail is also a wizard world I still preferred the one that blooms first before black clover but both anime were great and if I had a choice to choose between the two probably I get stocked and think twice so for now I don’t have answer but for me both world were awesome.
POKEMON (POKEMON WORLD)
One of my childhood that I never ever forget, this world was one of my dream to visit when I was kid but time changes and had to go to the other worlds. Pokemon would still a best choice to visit, catching pokemon, become the pokemon master, battle other trainers and a lot of stuff that you could do in the pokemon world.
BOKU NO HERO ACADEMIA (WORLD WITH QUIRKS)
One of the worlds that everyone would love to visit, a world where you would born to have powers which was called Quirk in this series though not all were given a chance to have quirk even the protagonist of this anime had been given a quirk by All Might. If I had to choose what quirk to obtained probably either the quirk of Todoroki or bakugo which is really a cool power to have and I want powers that more advantage on combatant character which I love to be sometimes.
For me this the major 5 Worlds that I love to visit with no particular order but If I had to choose between this 5 I would love the most is the pirate world which of course my favorite anime, no bias but this is what I decide for me. This is just only based on my opinion and still it’s up to you if you agree or not so I will ask you a question, **what anime world will you choose?**
You Can Achieve IT!
There was a time in my life I often ask why I am like this? Why I am still here, will I be forever in this place? What can I do to change my life? But all this question vanquished when I started to do some action, overthinking sometimes can lead you to negativity, instead you accomplished something you always stocked in one place. For now, this not about anime nor about anime figure but this is about a little about me. I will say to you this now that my article may be boring, nor it will not get your interest but here goes nothing gonna start and tell a story about myself.
I am a simple citizen that roams around the internet probably watching some animes, reading manga, playing games, and making some articles. This are the things that I often do when I have free time but that’s not really the thing that I want to talk about now then what is it? I forgot that I didn’t properly introduced myself, I am a certain individual that resides in 7,640 Islands or also known as Philippines and of course a Filipino Citizen, 23 years of age and currently living in Metro Manila. What I want to share with you guys was regarding about my profession and how did I achieve this? By the way I am an IT Professional in a private company where I created systems and managing network of our branches. Why I’m telling this right now? because I want to inspired others that before I’m able to be in this position there’s a lot of obstacle that I faced in my life. Hope you can bear with me and finish my story but if not it's also okay.
I know lot of us think ahead what they want to do on their life, what they will do after graduating in college, what lies ahead in their life, will they build a business? Or have a job. Majority of the people thinks that once they graduated in college, they will get a job easily then that’s it. The answer is no! it’s not just like that because you yourself want a job that related to your degree, but it is hard especially in the Philippines, companies always look for people that have experiences even you have this kind of skills that qualified for the position, they will not give you shot for it and not all fresh graduates are welcome. When the time I graduated at College I immediately looked for a job to help our financial needs at home. It’s not they pressure me, but I really want to help and give back to my mother because my father died when I was only 1 yr. old. I remember that I passed my resume from a lot of company but only some give me opportunity to take an exam and have an interview with them. I encounter a lot of good companies but still others looking for people that have experience and that’s one of my disadvantages during that time then this one opportunity came. I’m hired in one of the famous Internet Service Provider in PH as an IT Helpdesk. At first, I thought it was full IT Job but when the training commence it was so disappointing, they tell us that we will support clients via call, and we will be technical support, but it was basically a customer service and I don’t have a choice because I really I want to help to our expenses at home. I worked hard, persevered and stay for a year in that company but I can’t find myself there, I definitely want a job that fits perfect for me.
I hunt for a job again, interviewed here, exam there then this one certain company feels like attracting me and ask to try them so I passed my CV to them then they contacted me and tell that I will have an interview on this time around. Of course, I immediately go to their office but sad to say the position that I want to be applied was already filled since the one that got ahead of me had a lot of experiences and they didn’t even give me chance. I thought I will go home unlucky but the odds was in my favor the HR manager reconsidered my application on one condition, they have a vacant position that is Encoder and I will be the one to fill that at the moment, then after six months once the IT Department need extra manpower they will endorse to them as addition to the team, so since the opportunity came I grab it even the first position was encoder. Fast forward I was hired as a Encoder and the job was so smooth to me, it was not hard but the productivity that I need to finish was so many but even with that I do my job perfectly. After 2 months being an encoder, my boss sees potential in me he talked to the HR and promoted me as the Head of Encoders and how cool was that for only two I months I immediately promoted it was unexpected and I was really happy with it but still there’s something that I want to do and I want to achieve myself. I worked as the Head of Encoders and the job was not loaded before unlike my first 2 months being the head had also some tasks that requires knowledge as an IT and that’s one good advantage to me, I continued to work as the Head of Encoder for a year and I did my job perfectly. They see how persevered and hardwork I am, I always finished my job smooth and did not miss something that my boss always praised me for it.
One time when I’m doing my job, the manager of IT Department talked and came to me personally and the time that I am waiting for was finally came, he wants me to join in his team, because not just our boss and HR recommended me for it but also the IT manager always observe me in what I am doing, and he wants me to grow more and have more knowledge in my profession. That’s the one of the happiest days of my life and finally I achieved one of my goals. Right now, I am still working as an IT Professional for 3 years and still learning and growing as an individual.
If you have goals in your life and feels like you will not be able to reach it don’t ever think of that, be patient, do some efforts and make your dreams come true, it cannot be obtained instantly but when you worked hard for it, it will pays off someday. Hope I inspired you and like my story though it is a little boring, but it is full of my life lesson that can be helpful to others. Don’t stop on your goals in life I know **YOU CAN ACHIEVE IT!**
How to Begin Collecting Figure
It’s been two years ever since I start figure collecting and it’s been quite a journey. I am really happy collecting, and it is so fun. It’s not just only here in read cash that I shared my figure collection and knowledge, I often post in social media about my collection, my new haul, item for sale and more, that was related in action figure. Some of my friends ask me what do I get in figure collecting? Where to buy? How to know if it’s good or not and some of them are really interested and that question was the reason why I came up with this title, **HOW TO BEGIN COLLECTING FIGURE?** That question was the one that really marked in my head and as I told my friends about it here, I am willing to share it with you guys so let’s begin and here’s my guidelines how to begin collecting.
**BUDGET/MONEY**
The number one you need the most before collecting figure was money of course, you cannot purchase figure unless you get it from a free raffle of collectors/sellers or prize from a claw machine. Figure collecting was a expensive hobby so before you start make sure you have allotted money for them because it is very addicting.
**LEARN THE LANGUAGE USED IN TOY COMMUNITY**
Before collecting make sure you have an idea regarding figures on what the languages that a collector speaks, not literally other language but know the jargons and abbreviations used like MISB, BIB, WYSIWYG, LP and more so that you cannot be fool by abusive toy sellers because there’s a lot of seller that often take advantage of newbies in toy collecting. **SHOP/SELLERS**
Of course, if you want to start collecting you will look for a shop or sellers that selling toy action figure. Always be observant and check all the thing about that shop/seller before having a transaction. Check reviews on their shop, after sales on their product and how they handle figures so that when you have transaction to that specific shop/seller your confident that you can receive your products safe and good. Learn how to ask question regarding on the figures you are going to purchase so that you don’t have any doubt once you receive your item, frequently ask question to shop/seller was if its authentic, does this figure have any issues and right declaration of price.
**PRICE**
Before getting a figure make sure the price on the figure you get was right, there’s a lot of sellers out there that sell their item overprice, learn how to search on the internet for its price, check other shops that have the same figure you're looking for and compare it’s price. Always be careful with abusive sellers because in toy community there’s a lot of them that need to avoid, just a friendly reminder from me.
**AUTHENTICITY**
This is one of the major problems that a lot of collector’s encounter, some sellers declare that their items were authentic but when you received the item you order you will see that it’s fake (A BOOTLEG) and it’s not worth for its price and when you get back on the seller on shop that you get it your automatically block from them. GLASS CAB / CONTAINER
So when it comes to collecting make sure your figure that you will collect have a container where you could see and display them, collectors place their figure in a glass cab or if they don’t have enough budget, bookshelves was enough also other collectors made a DIY container for their figures.
So far here are the basic things that need to know to begin in figure collecting, this are the things that I also told to my friends that plans to start collecting figures. Here I am again tackeling and sharing my analysis on figure collection, I’m not your just your ordinary guy that bought figure then don’t get more specific details on it I’m the type of collector that really checked and have an eye for a figure so ready or not let’s start my not so boring article.
WCF was just an abbreviation, the meaning of it was ***“WORLD COLLECTABLE FIGURE”***, it is a figure that height ranges from 7cm or 5cm and it is manufactured by one of the famous toy company in japan, “**BANPRESTO”**. Ever since I began collecting, I have an eye on this figure because it was easy to display in a glass cab also the look of every figures looks cute. The details of every figure from WCF were truly remarkable, from the looks, paint job and the texture of figure it was in high quality. Before, I thought this figure was really expensive but as I collect not just one but this many displayed in glass cab it’s fair for its price. One WCF Figure usually range from 500 pesos up to 3000 pesos it only occurred on rare WCF figures. WCF figures always come with a set, it depends whether it was an arc in the anime or movies from specific anime. I will show example of set on the images belows.
That set was basically from my favorite anime, One Piece, so far all of my WCF was from One Piece if ever I have other WCF from other anime I think it’s quite very few. Collecting WCF has a lot of advantages, one good advantage of it was the space that it will consume in a glass cab or where you will put your figures, the figure itself was very small so it will not be a problem on where you would put it. Another advantage of it was it’s more cheaper, as I mention earlier it would cost for about 500 pesos or 10 US Dollars that someone can avail as long as you have money to buy it.
This WCF of mine I didn’t complete it in just one month, if I computed it was about 1 year and a half since I collect WCF but still I didn’t have all of it, I still lack a lot of WCF. The quantity was not WCF was not too many and that’s the reason why some of the WCF become expensive because of its rarity and very limited. If you are truly collector of course you want to complete from the first one of the latest but for sure it will be hard same goes with me. WCF Figure has also a count and volume that was release by Banpresto the older the volume is the harder it will find in the market. WCF has indemand to collector’s and some big shot really spent a lot when it comes to it to complete all the count and set of it. For me this is enough for the meantime, maybe I will get once I am included in that big shot.
Based on the facts that I have discussed what do you think would be the answer to my title? It is simple and it is a BIG YES for me! WCF is very recommendable for collectors and for the one’s that starting to collect. Which Pokemon Generation You Like the Most?
Pokemon, one of the oldest anime that always been part of my childhood, ever since I was little, I used to watch pokemon in the television and also play its game from Gameboy from Gameboy Color up to 3DS. I also remembered that I almost memorized all of the English opening songs of pokemon and I am certified Pokemon lover during my childhood days. My friend and classmate used to call me Pokemon master too because all of the games of Pokemon I finished it in just days, if they didn’t know what to do on the certain part of the game or finding some rare pokemon they come and just asked me about it. I don’t know why I was hooked into Pokemon but all I know it was one of best memory that I have as I child. So why I am telling this? Basically because of my love of Pokemon I almost memorized all of them but it’s just some of older generation of Pokemon and right know as I checked the internet there’s a new bunch of new pokemon that I didn’t know about. Well, that’s the reason why I came up to this article of mine to know the newer generation of pokemon and ask you a question, which pokemon generation you like the most??
I have seen that as of now there are eight generation of pokemon overall ever since it was established, as I remember I think the last pokemon that I watched, and play was from Pokemon Black and White and that’s the fifth generation of pokemon. From 6th gen up to latest I have no idea on it I just seen them but based on my observation older generation was better. For me I still picked from Pokemon Generation 1 up to Generation 5 but that’s my own opinion so let’s start talking about the early gen and why I told you guys that I love them.
Pokemon Generation 1
For me classic was the best, the first generation was the one I really like the most and the adventure from the game at the same time in the anime was both awesome. This pokemon covers the games of Pokemon Yellow, Red & Blue and continued with Fire Red and Leaf Green. Generation 1 pokemon covers from Bulbasaur up to Mew and the total count of them was from 1-151 and the region was from Kanto region. The looks and how pokemon drawed was well balanced at the same time they all looked cute. The places and gym battles were set properly but as the time goes by, we see how the game and anime really evolve but for me Gen 1 was the best although the new generation that was born was still good but as I say earlier nothing can beat the classic.
Pokemon Generation 2
Generation 2 covers the game of Pokemon Gold & Silver continued with Heart Gold & Soul Silver in newer games. Pokemon from this generation covers from Chikorita up to Celebi counting with 152-251 and the region was from Johto region. I still don’t have problem with graphics and drawing of second gen, they were created well and still they all look cute. From the gym battles and adventure awaits in the game it’s still as awesome as ever but this is the one of the Pokemon that I never played a lot that’s why it’s not in my favorite but this generation of pokemon was great.
Pokemon Generation 3
Generation 3 was my second favorite gen of Pokemon, it covers the region of Hoenn that starts with Treecko and End with Deoxys numbering 252 from 386 so in the 3rd gen the total of pokemon was 386 pokemons. The version of the game covers Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and the reason why this is second of my favorite was because of Emerald. The drawing of pokemon was keep getting better and better and other species from generation 1 and generation 2 have more greater evolution. The gym battle also improved a lot because it had a lot of obstacles and what’s more interesting was the extra adventure awaits which is the battle frontier.
Pokemon Generation 4 & Generation 5
This is the last generation of Pokemon I ever have knowledge since then, I stopped watching and playing Pokemon because my attention was focus on other anime and other games. I remembered that this generation covers the region of Sinnoh and Unova but didn’t have full knowledge on both pokemon. I still didn’t finish this in games and watched it’s series that why I have a few knowledge. This generation of pokemon had a lot of changes also the gym battles and fighting style improve a lot, the graphics was also getting better so it’s still the best. For the count it’s start with 387 with Turtwig and don’t know what’s the last number.
Pokemon Generation 6, 7 & 8
I have short knowledge for this generation I just seen them in google and short clips from social media that’s why I cannot comprehend a lot of opinion on them, all I can say that some of the drawing from this gen looks like created fast and didn’t think a lot but still it’s pokemon and I still love it, it just that the vibes from the first gen up to fifth gen was different for me well this is my own opinion.
I’m sorry if I cannot tell a lot on newer generations but still Pokemon was one that build my childhood that’s why I will still support them and love them. For you which generation you like the most? Feel free to share you opinion.
What Figure Shriner Are You?
**Ready for another figure knowledge and story? Well, you’re on the right track to stop by at the moment, though this article of mine might be a little boring for others but if you are curious to know more about figure collection well this is for you. You still have a choice to read it or not but if you begin it better to bear with it until the end for you to have a little knowledge about figure collecting, so let’s start. What I am about to discuss now was regarding on figure shriner, what’s this figure shriner about? Is it group? An organization? It is a BIGGGG NO! Well let me tell what this Shriner is and how it was related in figure collecting.**
Shriner in figure collecting was a set of collection that composed of one certain character from anime, video games, movies, etc but all different figures, what do I mean by that? You only collect your favorite character but the figure that you bought was made by different manufacturers, figures were not all the same from size, details, looks but the goal of being a shriner was you only collect one certain character that you love. Once you collect for sure you have a goal on what you want and it will be your shrine in the future, same with other collectors and also collecting a shrine was one of the goals of every collector.
You see the picture I attached above? That’s one good example of a Shrine Collection, introducing Zoro Shrine Collection, this is the combine collection of mine and my friend though some of the coolest and expensive collection was his, we decide to combine it for a moment and took a photo of it, look how awesome our Zoro is, pretty cool right? Collecting figure has also a goal it’s not just you buy and collect then display everything, you need to have a shrine and focus on certain character you want to collect just like ours. At first, I thought that collecting was just a simple hobby, that you just bought figures and it is finished with that I learned a lot of things in figure collecting and that includes this. My other figures that I bought was sell to other collectors because I don’t have a shrine with it, all I did was just buy – collect-display I didn’t though that having shrine would be better and that’s what my friend told me.
In collecting in two years this is one of my best shrine, Luffy Shrine. My most favorite character not just because he was the protagonist and the captain of strawhat pirates but also, I like the attitude of Luffy. I also love how the manufacturer and creator of this figures made Luffy awesome and cool, from the details and materials used all the money I spent was definitely worth and this shrine was definitely the best. I know there are other collectors that has more cool figures and expensive one’s on them even they have a big glasscab that their collection can fit, I’m not jealous with because I’m happy on what I have and I know that I can have more in the future, spend wise, save and more collecting hahaha.
A friendly tip before you start collecting make sure you have extra funds because this hobby is not a joke you really need to spend in here especially if you are a shriner and finding rare figures for collection this is one of the obstacles you need to overcome. Spend wise always and make sure priorities first before this wants. The Origin of My Figure Collection
Figure collecting was lately the hobby that I really love, not just because it’s brings me happiness and joy, but it was so fun collecting. Before my hobbies were only playing basketball, playing online games and surfing the net including streaming videos but because of my work I cannot even play online games, when I arrived at home instead of playing, I just rest so that I have energy for tomorrow, same to basketball, I can only play during my day off and because right now since we have pandemic playing basketball was not allowed outside. The only thing I can do was watching movies, anime and clips from social media. During my break time and when I’m on my way home that’s the only thing that amused me so I cannot be bored. Why I’m telling this right now? I know some may find and say that this article may bored them, but this is the origin why I start and begin collecting figures, ready to know the full story? It’s still up to you if you want to continue reading or not but it’s time to continue my story.
As I tell my hobbies it is related why I get close to figure collecting. One time as I scroll my social media, I happened to see this one post, it is an advertisement of one of the famous online shopping in the Philippines and guess what, I was hooked into this ads because it contains a character from my favorite anime **“ONE PIECE”**, at the same time the price was cheaper that I can afford it, so without hesitation even I don’t have any knowledge about it I decided to bought it. And here it is this my first ever figures that I have in my life. I can’t contain the happiness that I had when I finally received my figures it feels like I was back in my childhood days that even I am an adult right now I feel young and free that don’t have a problem in my life it brings back a lot of good memories and very nostalgic.
Back to story I didn’t know that the figure that I bought was Bootleg (fake) but I don’t care because I love it and even post it in social media, then this one good friend of mine during college message me, he tell me that It’s not bad collecting BL figures but there’s more better than that he told me everything about figures and the basic things you need to know that’s why I’m able to join in toy community. I bought my first authentic figure to him and the rest was history. Other things that I need to know I learned it myself, I joined many groups in social medias, bought figures in different persons and shops, joined paid raffles and right now I’m not just only a collector but also, I am a seller myself, convenient right? Action figure does not only bring happiness to me but also helped me get extra funds.
As of now I am still collecting figures but currently stop selling at the moment because I cannot handle it due to my work but If I had extra time, I sell some of my toys that are MISB and BIB. I cannot calculate how much I spent on all my toys but all I know was I really love them and I’m enjoying it, I am really happy. I usually buy toys during my pay day and I have budget for them literally, I know it’s quite addicting, but you need to control it. As of the moment I think I have more than 80 figures? Or more? I don’t know how many figures I have at the moment because sometimes I let them go and sell them in different owners, but I have figures that was only for me.
Figure collecting was quite an adventure, new hobby that not just help in my funds but also help me relieve some stress, every time I see them display it made me happy and my sad times became bright because of it. Proof of Authenticity of Figure
Nowadays a lot of products in the world have a copycat from the original, sometimes you don’t know whether the one you got was really the original one or fake, so that’s why before buying or purchasing products you need to know and have basic knowledge on the proof of its legitimacy. Of course, you want original products for yourself, right? but sometimes original products cost more and sometimes we can’t afford it we stick to class A products or imitation to suit the things that we want, this goes also on action figure. One good friend of ours asked, how to know the difference between KO (Knock off) figures and authentic figures if the figure and details itself were almost the same? Well, that’s the thing we have to find out today, what’s the proof of authenticity of figure. where to find it? how to know it? without further ado I will start.
If you have seen my previous article, I differentiate KO & BL and told that KO was better at the same the time the quality of it was almost the same as authentic but KO has still a flaws itself and the authentic was still at lead overall. You need to find out what’s the difference between them, so here are the things and proof of authenticity of figure.
**BOX**
One thing to look and to know if it’s authentic or not was the box of figure, the authentic figure has a mark or a sticker from the manufacturer itself, complete label, while on the other hand a KO/BL figure has something missing in its box, the sticker of manufacturer, also same label encrypted in a box. The image that was shown above was one good example between authentic and not. The first image of KOA Bound Man was the authentic figure, you can see that it has a craneking on the upper left side of the box and Banpresto on the right side, also it has One Piece on the lower left. On the other hand, the second image which is a BL you can see what it’s missing right? A lot. One thing to look if it’s authentic or not was the box.
**STICKER**
A lot of collector’s often based the authenticity of a figure based on its sticker, an authentic figure has sticker sticked often in the top of the box or sometimes in front of the box. The sticker has different colors and meaning because it was based what country it come from, one good example of that was if the sticker of the figure was gold sticker it was release in japan while if the sticker is white, silver or others it was an overseas release. This is one good proof of authenticity but be careful because sometimes even sticker was copied by imitation figures.
**MARKINGS**
Markings are one of the most solid proof that your figure was authentic this is the one that the fake cannot totally imitate and copy so if your figure was a markings from the manufacturer well it is totally original nothing more, nothing less.
**LICENSE PLATE FRAME**
This authenticity was only exclusive for resin figures because other thought that it is fake if it’s box has no figure at the same time it has no sticker but with resin figure it was different, they have what you called license plate and it depends what studio made that type of figure. Resin figures was for people with a lot of money so I think this would not be a problem for normal citizens like us.
So here you go here were some basic knowledge that you need to know if your figure was authentic or not, another thing that I forgot to the say that a resin figure has a brown box and art box I cannot tell the whole details about it because I myself didn’t have a resin figure but maybe in the near future I can have one well that’s a different story tell, hope you learn a little and gain knowledge that I share. What’s the Difference Between K.O and BL Figures?
A lot of collector’s often says that K.O and BL figures are just the same but for me they have a lot of differences in each other and that’s what we will discuss right now. Here’s another figure knowledge yet to be unfold for starters or others that don’t have any idea regarding figure collecting, come and join me as I will share my knowledge regarding on this anyways, we will about to find out what is KO and what BL means, let’s start shall we?
Normal person knows that K.O was short for “Knockout” and terminologies in boxing but the K.O we will discuss right now means “Knock off” and BL means “Bootleg”. For starters in figure collecting this knowledge was one of the basic things you need to know and for collectors that have knowledge often avoided this kind of toys, why? because others know and says it was FAKE! FAKE! FAKE! It was true that BL and KO were not authentic toys but it doesn’t mean that you have to avoid them and that’s what my article goal for today, I will give some facts and opinions based on my experience collecting this kind of toys.
**BL (BOOTLEG)**
Bootleg figures are basically toys that was copy to original figure, they are the figures that have a lot of issues, starting with the texture, details, paint chips and a lot of BL figure has very low quality. The reason why a lot of collectors avoided bootleg was because of the things that I told and its a fact, though my first figure in collecting was also bootleg it’s not that bad, it has some minor issues but if you differentiate it from the authentic you can see their differences. Collecting bootleg was not that bad also because at the end of the day the most important thing was your happiness and contentment about it. One of the advantages that bootleg offers was you can get it at a cheaper price but don’t expect a lot and I already told the reason why other collectors hate it. Before you get a bootleg make sure that it was for keeps (for yourself) and not for sale because it was hard to sell to other collectors and I will say this that a lot of collectors were so picky when it comes to toys.
**KO (KNOCK OFF)**
Knockoff figures was different from BL figures, others may say that they are the same and they were both fakes but my friend you are wrong with that before you judge it first better to look and see it first. Knockoff figures are figures with high quality and they were almost identical to authentic figures. I used to know before that BL and KO were the same, others told that KO was just a better name but still It was fake, all I can say to them was you got it all wrong, even KO was fake or not authentic the quality of figure was so good, from the details, materials used, size and even weight you will not know that it was KO until you look it closely. I can tell this because I also have KO figures copy from the resin figures which is why I able to defend it. The only difference of them was from the box of the KO figures from the authentic, it has no authenticity but overall KO was better than bootleg.
Both BL and KO were not original but there’s a lot of differences between them, it’s up to you whether you will collect one or not but if you want a budget friendly figures better start with them, and on the other hand if the quality was the one your looking for, better get an authentic figures. Is Nendoroid Figure Worth?
Sharing my knowledge about figure was definitely fun and I enjoy making articles about it, it’s not just because I want to brag about my collection or hobby but also want to share what I know about. Even I’m not a collector for too long still this hobby was worth every penny that I spent and definitely worth of my time. Some collectors say before you buy figure you need to have a glass cab first and it was right but on the other hand if you don’t have a budget for it for a moment, saved and when you have an extra money you can buy glass cab at the same time your ready in collecting. Collecting in figures doesn’t require anything big as long as you have money to purchase it is fine. From my previous post I talked about a lot of about figures but I forgot to introduce one good line that other otaku & weebs used to collect, it is a ***Nendoroid***. I just remember it when one of the user mentioned that he wants to have Nendoroid. What is nendoroid? Is it an alien? Is it like android in dragonball? The answer is NO! NO! NO! so before knowing what’s this nendoroid is and how good it is, let me introduce to you my friend.
Nendoroid was an action figure of different anime characters, also some of the nendoroid were from famous games, marvel characters & more. What’s the trademark for this Nendoroid figure? It’s design was basically like a Chibi character that have big heads and small body that the height approximately range from 10cm. Chibi was definitely cute, same as this figures, also one good thing about Nendoroid figures was it has a lot of accessories, you can change it’s appearance by changing the heads, posture, positions and looks of the figure and you can do a lot of thing in this figure. This was the reason why a lot of collector preferred to bought Nendoroid than most of my collection that I have shown before (figures like BWFC, GLM, MASTERLISE) even the size was a little small than the figures that I have. The details and characteristics of the figure was already told so let’s talk now about it’s price. For others that was asking how much does one Nendoroid cost? The answer was it is a little expensive for a normal worker, usually it cost around 2,300 PHP to 2500 PHP in USD it is about 48 - 52 US DOLLARS. I have my Nendoroid and I bought only 3 last year, my figures were Tanjiro and Nezuko and that time I bought that figures was the Era of Demon Slayer. I love how the figures made and it was really cute. My other Nendoroid was Eren from Attack on Titan.
As my title implies and others that want to know if Nendoroid figure was worth? My answer was a big big YES!. From the titles and design it was perfectly made, the cuteness of them was at it highest level for me, if you want to have a cute collection Nendoroid was the figure for you. As of now the volume for every figure of Nendoroid was still few, number one because of it’s price and number two it depends on the quantity that was made from the factory. I forgot to mention that it was made by the Good Smile Factory and all I can say that all of the figures they made Nendoroid or not were definitely High Quality and worth for it’s price. As of now I still plan to collect other Nendoroid figure but not now since I’m saving a lot for my business, it can wait so priorities first.
If you have a lot of extra money, well it’s up to you to if you want to buy Nendoroid figure but if you are just a regular employee that earns definitely enough for your needs saved first before purchasing it. I forgot to mention that every Nendoroid have their own unique code so it’s not hard to find what characters you want for your collection. Do you want Nendoroid figure? How Much Does Figure Cost?
Since I made two articles related in action figures, here’s another for you to see and know more about figures. Ever since I collected action figures, I didn’t know how much I spent on it, I just bought one into one shop transferring to another as long I have extra money, I think if I will estimate it the range will be from 50,000 - 70,000 Philippine Peso and if I converted it into US Dollars if would be 1,000 – 1500 USD, pretty expensive for toys right? even I spent a lot the happiness that it gave to me was definitely enough and I love it. Right now, since It’s just the beginning of the year I didn’t purchase yet another figure but I have a lot of pre orders from Japan waiting to receive here in the Philippines, some of it will arrived in 2nd and in 3rd quadrant of the year so I will have extra money for it when it arrived. So, let’s talk about how much does a regular figures cost? how big it is? how detailed it is and what’s the difference of every figure that you need to know. Ready or not here’s the knowledge that I once learned ready to be discuss and teach to every one of you.
So, let’s start now, how much does a regular authentic figures cost? Basically, it depends on what figure would you like to buy, the most popular figures nowadays were from the anime One Piece, Naruto, Dragonball while other anime have their own figure but it is very limited. The regular figure basically ranging from 500 - 800 PHP / 10 - 15 USD and the normal size of it was about 7 inches. Most figure that cost 500 pesos / 10 Dollars were called ***WORLD COLLECTIBLE FIGURE*** (WCF) it is an authentic figure which size is 7 cm but in some cases there are WCF Figures that cost more depends on its rarity and how hard to find it in the market. I don’t have the knowledge how much is the most expensive yet but I bought once which cost for around 3,000 PHP / 63 USD it’s expensive for its brand. For the details on WCF figure all I can say was it was pretty neat, very detailed and it was created perfectly, if you encountered issues on this figure basically it’s factory defect.
Now let’s talk about on ***Banpresto*** figures, most of the figures that I bought was manufactured by Banpresto and all I can say on all the figures from them that I have it was solid. The paint job done perfectly, the details from the figure itself was the same as from the anime, the texture of it was smooth and I cannot say anything bad on it, if I will rate it from 1 to 5 I will rate it 5/5 for it’s good quality nothing more nothing less. There’s other more figure that you can find in the market and I will just tell which line is it and how much does this figure cost. If you had seen my previous article I recommend that one of the best line that a collector’s want was ***POP*** Figures, why? the quality and details of one figure from that line was in High Quality and superb but also the price of it was very expensive one regular figure would cost 5,000 PHP up to 25,000 PHP and I think my wallet could not handle that much, well it’s for collectors that have a lot of money. One last figure that I’m about to discuss was called ***Ichiban Kuji*** (IK) of course it’s an authentic figure but the only difference was it is a figure where you need to have a luck in order to get the best figure, its like a lottery that you need to bought one ticket and then it depends on the ticket you got on the prize that you will get, this figure was depend on your luck but if you don’t have luck well this line of figure was not for you, it is basically exclusive in Japan, you can still bought IK figures but expect that the prize vary on the seller how much they would sell the prize they get on Ichiban Kuji. I don’t how much does one ticket cost but I have IK figures that I range from 2000 PHP - 3000 PHP.
So far that’s the only figures that I know and they were the popular among all figures, it I miss something or you know others to feel free to share with me, even I am a collector there’s still a lot to know, well this is the knowledge I have and happy to share with you guys! Figure Collection’s 101
I didn’t thought that my post regarding on figure will be seen by a lot of people and got more views than I expected so because of that I want to share more information regarding figure collection and that includes what type of collection that I am collecting. It’s been a year since I start my figure collection particularly on my favorite anime, **“One Piece”** it’s not just their anime & manga that brings another flavor to my life but also anime figure from One Piece help me in my darkest time. Of course, it’s not only One Piece collection I used to collect I have other figures from other anime and I will tell you about it later, so for now here’s some additional tips and knowledge to know in figure collecting. Let’s start our lesson 101.
Figure collecting was not a normal hobby for a typical person, it is very addictive at the same time you need to have a lot of money for it, once you spent on one figure it will not stop there, mark my word you will find another figure and spent your money on it, it’s not a joke, seriously figure was been part of my budget every cutoff it’s included and everytime I find new figure that I like there’s no doubt that I will find a way to get it. Before you get yourself in toy community here some tips for you and what figures I will you collect in the future once you get decided.
**1. COLLECT AUTHENTIC FIGURES**
- Number one thing to know when starting to collect figures was to have authentic figures, why? Because in the future once you decide to stop collecting and quit in this hobby, you can able to sell it at a good price, either it will be higher, or same price depends on condition of it and also if your figure was a rare figure it will come in handy and will be able to sell at a high price. It brings you joy at the same time it will be a big benefit to your part because you earn and get back your money. If you don’t have enough money you can still buy Class A (KO or BL) it’s up to you as long as you are happy with it, that’s fine, this is one friendly tip from a collector like me. There’s still a lot of good figure even it’s class A but it will be hard for you to sell it in the future.
2. KNOW THE LINE & BRANDS OF FIGURE
- What is line in figure collecting? Line in figure collecting was the brand or manufacturer of specific figure. For me one of the best line that almost all of the collector’s collect and have in their collection specifically in One Piece was POP (Portrait of Pirates) made by Megahouse. Why POP was one of the best line? It is because of its quality and details. The quality and details of a POP figure was definitely best, the details were perfectly made, the texture, the looks and overall it was so beautiful, though the only one problem on it was the price, POP figures on One Piece was expensive but for your information it's worth for it’s price. I’m still not able to afford it for the meantime because we have a lot of expenses, bills that need to accomplished and partly budget every payday, so it’s need vs wants. Maybe in the near future if I get rich I’ll have a lot of collection from POP. There’s a lot of good line and brands out there but make sure it’s authentic so every penny you’ll spent will be worth. Others that not yet named, Ichiban Kuji, DXF, GLM, MSP, Masterlise and a lot more. We’ll my collection was composed of different lines as long as I can afford it I get the figure that I want.
3. BE HAPPY ON WHAT YOU ARE DOING
- Your happiness still matters the most, even you are collecting authentic, fake, BL, KO, Resin as long as it brings smile and happiness in your life that’s the most important thing. This tip was base on my perspective and its up to you if still follow or not, I just want to help and gave knowledge that I gain from it. Hope these tips help you in a good way.
Being a collector for a short time was still not enough and I know I have a long way to go. Before having this knowledge of course I’m a beginner before and I used to collect BL & KO but I’m happy with it, that’s why I include it in number three and it taught me a lot. Things to Know in Collecting Action Figure
**I have seen an article here before that was related on Toy Collection figure and I myself was not just an ordinary manga reader, anime lover but also, I am collector myself so let’s find out things related on toy community so that you can have an idea if you decide to be a collector or you want to join in toy community. Before entering into some party or group or association of course you need to know or learn about the simple things about them so I will share some basic knowledge on collecting toy action figure.**
When you are just a beginner and starting to collect of course you don’t know the difference between the fake and original right? Well, you are on the right track so let’s start on terminologies used in toy community. Let’s start with figure condition, in toy community we declared the item as **MISB, MIB, BIB, LOOSE,** so what does this for abbreviations means? Let’s find out.
**1. MISB (MINT IN SEALED WITH BOX)**
- It means that the item was still sealed in box minting from outside to the inside, items were also brand new and a lot of collector’s preferred on this condition because it completely sealed and new.
**2. MIB (MINT IN BOX)**
- This condition was also the same as MISB but the only difference was the mint on the outside was open sometimes because for checking in customs, or for checking of seller to know if the item was authentic or not, the plastic on the figure was still not opened thus the action figure itself was new.
**3. BIB (BACK IN BOX)**
- From the word itself the figure was opened, displayed, checked or anything that the owner though, since it was back in box the prize of this figure was lessened and the seller need to declare if it has a issue specifically for selective buyer and collector. Some BIB figure increase it’s value because the figure was either rare or limited figure.
**4. LOOSE**
- If you don’t have enough budget better start collecting loose figure, the figure was less cheaper, NO Box, What you see is what you get as it is simplified term by collector. Though a lot of loose figure has many issues still you can find good figure from different seller in toy community
Now you have basic knowledge on the condition on figure, now you need to find whether the figure you bought or the one you will buy in the future was authentic or not. Here’s the thing you need to know before getting a figure.
First knowledge to know if it’s authentic or not was the markings on the figure itself, a lot of authentic figure had a marking on the different parts of the figure and also not just the markings was the only proof if its authentic you will know that the figure was authentic, by details, texture, and paint jobs. One more specific proof of authenticity was the sticker from the manufacturer of figure itself like Banpresto figures they have sticker on the upper box that indicates it is authentic, known stickers was the sticker of TOEI that you can see in the figures. The fake or class A were called **BL (BOOTLEG) and KO (KNOCKOFF**). The difference between the 2 although both were fake, knockoff was had a higher quality than BL because almost the details from authentic were copied by knock off while bootleg has a lot of errors, ugly face, not so well paint jobs, broken peg or parts and more.
The things I have said were just a basic knowledge to know when you decide collecting an anime action figure or other figure such as marvel or transformer. All I can say that this hobby was an expensive hobby if you cannot cope and able to invest on it well you better stop but it’s still up to you as long as you are happy in collecting that’s what matters. I began collecting figures two years ago but I can say that my collection was not that many but soon if I took more time and investment on it for sure there will be more collection to come.

Which is your favorite Season on Shokugeki no Soma?
Shokugeki No Soma or in English name known as Food Wars was one of my favorite shonen anime that I had watched. I like it because they bring flavor to the culinary world through anime, basically it is about cooking and the title also implies it is all about battle relating food. A shokugeki is a match/duel between two chefs that have conditions with 3 judges and the one who won will follow his/her condition on the battle. The extra spice and addition of this anime was of course for someone have seen you cannot deny that it has a lot of fan service, one good example was when a character taste a food that was amazing you will see what I mean if you have saw the series and the manga. It was sad when the anime series came to a conclusion and end last 2020, the fantastic cooking of Soma and his way to the top had finally achieved by him but for manga readers that have seen the three special chapters of Food Wars I know the anime lacks a lot. Anyway, what we will talk about right now was all the seasons of Food Wars, for others that have seen the anime I bet you have your favorite season but for others that didn’t watched Food Wars yet? Now let me tell every short intro on every season of it.
Season 01
The season 01 was basically the introduction of all characters of course our main protagonist “Yukihira Soma” where he enters the academy which is Totsuki and meet a lot of friends. Also we can see the introduction of other characters which help Soma to become the best and grow every aspect in cooking at the academy. The semi antagonist or the one who will future partner of Soma though it was not really shown in the end, “Nakiri Erina” which hold the title “***GOD TONGUE”*** was the one of the reason why Soma will grow as the best chef. For me season 1 was one of the best season of the anime but there’s a lot more we can expect on the next seasons. In this season we can see the potential on Soma and in every episode you will see how he will grow as a chef.
Season 02
The season 2 was the continuation of the Autumn election that was cut in the season 01 also we can see in here that Soma lost in the Autumn election with Hayama but Soma didn’t just stay as he is, he further improved his cooking skills and learned a lot in the ***“Stagiarie”*** which is like the OJT (On the job training) for students. This season was good for me, not bad but not also my favorite.
Season 03
The season 3 was one of the greatest arc of all and one of my most favorite, it is the part where the current elite ten introduced and the coup d'etat was estrablised by father of Erina who is Nakiri Azami and take over Totsuki. Azami shown his dark side here and the new Totsuki was way too different from before, Soma and his friends need to pass on the exams but a lot had failed and expelled but Soma and Erina suggest a Team Shokugeki to get back the expelled student and the handling of Totsuki academy. This was one of best season so far but after I watched the next season this was only second to my favorite.
Season 04
The season 4 was my favorite season of all because it was the battle between the rebels which is Soma, Erina and friends versus the Elite Ten which is 6 only because the 3 was removed from the elite ten by Azami and Erina removed her title as Elite Ten. This season was the coolest battle of all because it is battle between the best and Soma, this shows how big was the growth of Soma from Season 1 to Season 3 and it was really epic. Though it may be a spoiler at the end of season 04 they won and a new Elite Ten was born where Soma take the number one spot & seat, First Seat of Elite Ten.
Season 05
The season 05 was also good but it was fast forward it is basically about the BLUE and the biological brother of Erina, which is Asahi and this is the part where Soma wants Erina to say delicious on the food he will serve, though it ends very fast it was still okay for me.
Overall, the five season of Food Wars was okay and awesome and my most favorite on all was season 4, to you? What was your favorite season?
Straw Hat Pirates Dreams (One Piece)
One Piece was one of the famous anime and still ongoing today, if you have seen the manga and series ever since the beginning you will know the whole story but if not then this is the right article for you to know the story of the main characters that I’m about to tell. Strawhat Pirates was the pirate group of Monkey D. Luffy who was the main character of the series. There pirate group now was a total of 10 including Luffy as the captain, the crewmates were composed by Roronoa Zoro as First Mate or others may called as Vice-Captain, Cat Burglar Nami as the Navigator, Usopp as Sniper, Black Leg Sanji or now known as part of the Vinsmoke family, Vinsmoke Sanji as Cook, Tony-Tony Chopper as Doctor, Nico Robin as archeologist, Franky as Shipwright, Brook as Musician and the latest addition to their crew the former warlord of the sea Jinbei as helmsman. Each of the individual crew including Luffy has a goal and dreams to achieve in the series and now I’m gonna tell what are they.
1. MONKEY D. LUFFY (PIRATE KING)
As far as everyone know that had seen the anime and read the manga, fans or not, of course we know that our captain Monkey D. Luffy dream to be the Pirate King someday ever since the time he begun his quest as pirate we heard a lot from his mouth that, “I’m Gonna Be the King of Pirates” and to do that he need crewmates to help achieve his dreams and this is the start where he gathered the rest of his crew and the rest was history. Now Luffy had a total of 9 crews which will help him become King of Pirates and find the greatest treasure, **“ONE PIECE”**. We all know that Luffy will able to achieve his dreams but when this point reached it will be the ending of One Piece and a lot will be sad on it but I know there’s a lot more to see in the manga and the series.
2. RORONOA ZORO (WORLD’S GREATEST SWORDSMAN)
The first mate that Luffy recruited was Zoro, also known as his vice captain, Luffy met Zoro in Shells town where he was held captives by the marines and he was a bounty hunter that time, Luffy recruited him but refused at first but when the time Luffy get Zoro Swords after the battle with the marines Zoro joined Luffy as his first mate. Zoro’s dream was to be the world’s greatest swordsman and in order to do that he needs to surpass all skilled swordsman including Mihawk the one train him during the time skip. Also one reason why he oath to be the greatest swordsman was because of her childhood friend Kunia who died during his childhood days and she was the only one who defeats Zoro 2000 times. Right now Zoro possess new sword which is Enma and we will see the new potential of Zoro and we will see a new power up from him.
3. NAMI (WORLD MAP)
The 2nd crew that joined in the strawhat, Nami. She was a burglar/thief that only joins Luffy because of their treasure but she had a reason behind it, she was saving a lot of money in order to save her town from a fishmen Arlong. Luffy saved him and destroy the arlong park and nami officialy joined the straw hat. Her dream was revealed during the flashback of her childhood days where she stole a book of navigation, after that Nami said that with her navigation skills she will make a map of the world and up until now her dream was to make a map of the world with Luffy as the future pirate king.
4. USOPP (BRAVEST WARRIOR OF THE SEA)
One of the funniest character and crewmate of Luffy. Usopp was known for being a good liar even when the time Luffy and the crewmate was just starting since then. Usopp was known as coward and we all saw how big liar is he but even with that he protects syrup village from captain kuro and stand up on his own with the help of his captain Luffy. Usopp was also the reason why they able to have a ship and have a jolly roger of Strawhat Pirates and that’s the start by having a name for themselves. Despite being the most coward in their crew Usopp dream was to be the bravest warrior of the sea, we seen it during flashback where her mother was bedridden and Usopp telling about his father Yassop and just like his father he dreams to be a pirate that was brave and become the bravest warrior of all.
5. SANJI (ALL BLUE)
Sanji has one of the most awesome dream in all of the crews, before Luffy was recruiting him they were talking to each other and Sanji told about this dream that there was place were all four seas met(north, south, east and west blue) that full with all of the resources that one’s could ever found, that includes all the fishes in every seas, all in one place and it was the ultimate dream of every chef. As I chef Sanji want to see it with his own very eyes. After the talk of Luffy and Sanji, he said that he will fulfill Luffy’s dream to become pirate king and he will also find all blue along with that.
6. TONY TONY CHOPPER (WORLD’S GREATEST DOCTOR)
Chopper dream was to be the world’s greatest doctor where he could find cure for every disease in the world. It was when his mentor Dr. Hiluluk died from an disease, Dr. Hiluluk was the one that taught chopper everything and Dr. Hiluluk was also the one said that he will find all cure for all of the disease in the world. Chopper made the promise upon the death of his mentor, and later on he joins strawhat crew as the Doctor, we can see in the series that Chopper was a great Doctor and improve a lot during the timeskip, we can expect more from this reindeer can’t wait for his spotlight.
7. NICO ROBIN (TRUE HISTORY OF THE WORLD)
Nico Robin was the only survivor in Ohara at first Robin was introduced as an enemy of strawhat pirate as Ms. All Sunday and later on joined the crew of strawhats but when the water 7 arc is at place Robin joins the world government because she was the only one who can read the poneglyph that can discover the secret of the world. Luffy and the rest of strawhat pirates declares war against the world government in order to save Robin and she become officially member of the crew. Since she was the only one who can read the poneyglyph her dream was to discover the history of the world and what was the secret behind all the poneyglyph. She was a big asset of the strawhat pirates also she become the target of yonko to help them find the One Piece.
8. FRANKY (DREAM SHIP)
One of the most coolest crewmate of Luffy, Franky was their shipwright and his dream was to sail his dream ship on the world. Franky was the one who created thousand sunny and we all know that this dream of Franky will fulfilled once they reach the final destination Raftel. Franky was recruited by Luffy after they saved Robin from enies lobby and become the part of his crew to crewmate the most awesome ship that will travel with the future pirate king.
9. BROOK (REUNITE WITH LABOON)
Brook was one of the most unique crewmates in strawhat because he is just a bones, his dream was to be reunited with Laboon the big whale who waits always in the Red line that meet by Strawhat in the early episodes and when they passed the red line to the grand line. Brook was the only one left in his previous crew and they made a promise to Laboon that they will see each other again. Though his dream was simple it was fulfilling to see an old friend and reunite even he was just a mere bones and carry the promise of his previous crewmates also.
10. JINBEI (PEACE WITH HUMANS & FISHMAN)
Jinbei was the one who saved Luffy when he lost his brother ace, he help Luffy not just in the battle at marineford but also help him mentally to recover from the pain that Luffy experienced. Jinbei was already part of his crew during the fishman island but didn’t joined yet because he has an errand which revealed that he had ties in bigmom and later on in the latest chapters we have seen the Jinbei finally reunites with the strawhat. Jinbei dream was simple to have peace between humans & fishman which already seen by Jinbei done by Luffy and because of that he joined the strawhat in order to be the same with others humans as well.
We all know that once this dreams of strawhats were fulfilled it will be the end of story. It was so awesome as well as it will be a tearjerking scene that all the fans were waiting. Oda said that in near five years One Piece will end but we all know there’s still a lot that will happen and we can’t wait for that. Thank you for your time reading this even it is so long. My 5 Favorite Symbols of Anime
One good representation of something or someone was using a symbol. Symbols were the one who represents the actual subjects, company, person and more, same as signs or logo. We can easily identify this thing or brand because it has a symbol representing itself. It’s not just real-life objects that have their own representation, anime itself have symbols that when someone see or check might say “oh it’s from this anime”, that’s one good use of symbol to easily identify what it is. Speaking of symbols here’s some of the trademark that I know once seen by others they will easily figure it out what is it.
1. STRAWHAT PIRATES JOLLY ROGER (ONE PIECE)
Taking the number one spot of course my favorite anime of all time One Piece. Just like in real pirates without a jolly roger you cannot call yourself a pirate and the jolly roger of strawhat symbolizes that they were pirates although they were different pirates to all that we know. Thery’re jolly roger was color black with a skull that wearing a STRAW HAT that symbolizes “Luffy” the captain and protagonist of the series. They’re jolly roger has a big role in the series because it was the one that representing them and it is one highlighted the roles of character. This symbol was known of course by fans but for others that didn’t encounter One Piece yet, this is the moment to know it.
2. SURVEY CORPS LOGO (SHINGEKI NO KYOJIN)
2nd to the line was the logo of Survey Corps which you can found on Shingeki No Kyojin or in English Attack on Titan. This logo basically symbolizes freedom where they believed that one day, they can free themselves on Titans. Their logo was composed of wings of freedom that hold their beliefs, also in there way of living that like a bird one day they can be free within the walls in the anime series. A lot of cosplayer wearing the clothes of Survey Corps of course their logo was on it. Salute to them! Sasageyo!
3. KONOHA’S MARK (NARUTO)
The one that symbolizes the village of Naruto, Konohagakure’s Mark. It is the one that the ninja from the hidden leaf village wear on their head/crest to able to identify that they came from this village, it is also the trademarks of them to show that they are ninja’s that devoted themselves in Konoha. This symbol looks like a leaf that was drawn in the center of a headband. You can easily identify whether the ninja was from other village or from Konoha by the mark on their headband in the series. For others that didn’t know this one, now I’m telling you what it is so that the next time you will see it at least you know.
4. FAIRY TAIL’S INSIGNIA
The mark that tells you are a member of this guild. Fairy tails Insignia symbolizes the character that they are the member of the guild Fairy Tail and also it is the one trademark to know them. For others that didn’t know Fairy Tail it is an anime basically about wizards and adventures of Lucy where she finds her family in this guild. In real life this insignia was like a tattoo that engraved in different parts of body but anyway this is an anime so we don’t have any problem on it.
5. L’S INITIAL (DEATH NOTE)
Have you seen death note? If not, this L’S initial was from the anime death which belong to L Lawliet that holds the death note where he has the control of the life of the criminals he wants to kill wherein just writing the name of the note, he/she will die in an instant. This become trademark and a lot of merchandise was release from it, also a replica of notebook was made in real life though in reality it is just a notebook.
