You Asked About My Life So I Wrote It Down For You

*****You asked about my life so I wrote it down for you*****

Life feels like a routine, a duty I must do This is everything, for I dug deep to my core I won't make this depressing, I will use a metaphor titled the naive angel or the depressed penitent You will get to choose, for both will be a compliment life is full of colors but my colors define different Red is for the love, I kept searching in the wrong place The one I couldn't find, for it was placed out of space Blue is for the pen, I often use to make you relate The one I use to tell, what has been served on my plate Black is for the grief I had to feel for life is cruel For all the times my heart was broke, for I was used like a tool White is for the flashbacks, the same days I had to live The memory lane I had to walk, the sacrifices I had to give Brown is for my skin, that has began to not feel mine Like a stranger is in my mind that keep wasting my time Yellow is for the sheer of hope, I wake up with everyday The hope to get better, to a life so good, it beats today Green is for that magic potion that cures the pain and the scars A drug so addictive for it finds beauty out of the stars Orange is for the phoneix I am, that will rise from the ashes Out of the dirt as I revive, dusting off, out of the stashes.
