Never Meant To Be

I felt you were right for me I felt my search was over I grew wings to fly in love with you You were to heavy to be lifted I flapped my wings, I couldn't manage to take the flight The more I tried, I ended up fracturing my wing Am now flightless. I believed in love I believed in time too I believed in fate and destiny Not knowing a prank was being pulled on me Blinded by beauty, reciprocating lies Reminiscing my fantasy Which ended before taking the first step. They say if you love them let them go If they come back to you it's yours Meaning it's meant to be I tried this with you Only for you to go and disappear like you never existed Leaving no traces or scent of you behind It's like you were a living dead. This is a tormenting moment in my life Snapping out of fantasy back to reality To find out that you had left To end up in another's arms It feels like am watching a movie out of the blues But what do I say?
