His days were near. He knew that. His days were near and he knew that Yet he smiled and rolled He had no worries for tomorrow Since there is none All he had was today A long-forever-today!! There he dwelled Investing the last of his energies To make the most of it! He didn’t know why he lived But he knew how to and how not to So he kept driving through the last sunset Which shined a shade brighter than any of his previous encounters What is life, if not an experience This he understood well! And when I asked him what he was so happy about, he replied, “You don’t need a reason to be happy. You just have to believe in it! Treat both sorrows and joy as same and you’ll be left with zero worries! I spent my time here, well and good. I made good and bad choices and now I’ve got nothing new to do here. By tomorrow, I’ll be a memory and I hope it’s a good one!
