I’m 27 days away from heading to Alaska. These Photographs are from a few years ago when we spent the day in Hope Alaska it’s a really cool little town with a population of 161 people with this Beautiful stream flowing right next to the town full of salmon certain times of year. We hiked and we seen that the Stream was full of pink salmon I had to try my luck. Where is your favorite place to vacation?

@Chuckinflorida

It’s a cat breakfast buffet. I’m really wishing I could take a cat nap been up sense 3:30 AM recently I haven’t been sleeping to well right now I’m jealous of Halftail he can sleep anywhere.

@Chuckinflorida

Out enjoying the springs Unfortunately on my day off we have a quarterly meeting at work so I can’t be out there today but this is a few photographs of some people enjoying them selves when I can’t pure nature. Interesting facts about Silver Springs. Silver Springs consists of 30 springs with 61 vents and with a flow of 500 million gallons per day makes this spring one of the largest first magnitude springs in the United States and even the world.

@Chuckinflorida

Having a few Brats cooked on the Barbie with a Little potato salad. What are you having for dinner?

@Chuckinflorida

Catching the sunrise this morning had some pink sky this morning and as I was driving to work got better and better but the way traffic is everybody riding your butt it’s hard to stop and take a photo. It’s a very humid morning sit in the shade at work sweating my butt off the high will be up in the 90s again like yesterday. If you stay cool 24 more days until I fly to Alaska to get cooled off for a few weeks.

@Chuckinflorida

Had this dragonfly that just kept on landing on my finger I guess he wanted to be famous and get his photograph taken. Then Earlier today I caught the osprey flying overhead I believe this is the one that has the nest right down the street with babies now. My day here at South Forest transfer station.

@Chuckinflorida

Up Up And away when is it going to stop? I know we in the USA 🇺🇸 are not paying the highest prices for fuel in the world but still when you were paying $1.87 a gallon on average just a couple years ago and now we’re just under five dollars a gallon it’s hard for someone who got to use a vehicle to get to work I drive 60 miles a day to work and back. What was your fuel prices two years ago and where are they now today?

@Chuckinflorida

The two Brothers chilling after having breakfast Fluffy and Halftail time goes by so fast they will be 4 years old this month. Happy Birthday to my feral kitties.

@Chuckinflorida

This morning I made it to work just a little early we don’t open till nine but I got here at eight and of course we had furniture day yesterday and I wanted to make sure that the bucket truck did not tear up my garden when he was real careful and didn’t do any damage but here is my little bit of my sunshine from this morning My Sunflowers I had to go buy some 7 dust i’m noticing these Aphids are killing my plants I give them a little spray this morning hopefully this will…

@Chuckinflorida

Good Morning my ride through the forest blessed me with two groups of deer and a beautiful sunrise through the Pine Forest. First group of deer I seen I pulled off about 100 yards down the street and got a few good photos of the two bucks Still in velvet. Running a little behind because I stopped to take Photographs I didn’t stop for the second group of deer I seen.

@Chuckinflorida

Well I’m getting ready for my trip to Alaska and to avoid the long lines of the TSA I applied online for the TSA pre-check but to get Approve we have to go to a physical site to get fingerprinted of course pay the fee of $85 for five years. The fun thing about it was they open at 8:30 AM and I figured it be long lines so I left home at 6 AM the location was 77 miles away down towards Orlando. So who else has went through this and how long it take to get there pre-check…

@Chuckinflorida

@Chuckinflorida

The Silver river A place where nature comes together Turtles and cormorants. I so badly wanna get out there in kayak but the temperature is just too warm and humid to do so. Back to work this morning high is going to be back in the high 80,s low 90’s praying for rain. #Wildlife #Nature

@Chuckinflorida

It’s raining I can hear my plants screaming with delight. The temperature is dropped from the mid 80s very humid to the mid 70s but that won’t last before you know what the sun will be out and it will be as miserable as ever. So the question is how is your Friday going so far by the way the rain is a blessing we really need it bad.

@Chuckinflorida

Happy #Caturday 3 out of the 4 after having there Friday night dinner chilling out. Halftail Fluffy and Miss Piggy where is little Gray looking down one of the tortoise dens.

@Chuckinflorida

A while back I was at Sweetwater wetlands park in Gainesville Florida and I noticed a bunch of lotus flowers so I snapped a few photographs loving the reflection in this photograph. Good Morning.

@Chuckinflorida

My friend Jim and I travel down to the Kenai to Homer Alaska the year before last this is one of the lakes we stopped at we planned to go halibut fishing but the weather was very bad not safe to go out. On our way back we stopped by this place where we could see portage glacier. Just two weeks away from my trip.

@Chuckinflorida

I was tempted to take a morning hike the only problem was I had 20 minutes to get to work lol. It has gotten so hot this last week humidity is way up and the only way you can really take a good hike is to do it at sunrise today’s heat index post be in the 103°F range. The good thing is I’ll be on vacation in two weeks the temperatures in the morning will be in the 50s Fahrenheit and I’ll take a lot more to break a sweat than just a look outside.

@Chuckinflorida

This was on my road trip through Canada on my way to Alaska. Here I stop for a break next to this bridge that crosses the Teslin River in the Yukon territory Canada 🇨🇦 The Yukon is a very beautiful territory in Canada believe it was not far from here I seen a Group of beavers doing their daily chores.

@Chuckinflorida

I moved my feeder next to my Deck in hope to bring the birds a little closer to where I sit and drink my morning coffee on my days off. My first customer this morning was this beautiful male cardinal.

@Chuckinflorida

This was a part of nature that I’ve only seen on TV until this day. A big bull Alligator trying to call in a mate it sends a vibration on their backs to make the water dance upwards towards the sky.

@Chuckinflorida

Just a few Garden flowers from the yard. It’s crazy hot out there Who else is going through a heat wave at this time nature can be brutal sometimes our heat index supposed be 110 F. today lucky for me I’m not working until Friday.

@Chuckinflorida

Sitting out on my deck this morning with my coffee and more birds are finding the birdfeeder so far no squirrels I found it. Right off the bat I had a few Tufted TitMouse enjoying the feeder but the queen of red birds the female Cardinal not quite as red like the male is still just as beautiful.

@Chuckinflorida

I love these flowering trees my neighbor has the color red my trees on my property are white and pink. Anybody else have crêpe myrtles and if so what are the colors of their? Only problem with these trees is they are a little messy sometimes it seems like it’s snowing.

@Chuckinflorida

Ok I know this a Crossbill I believe it’s a White wing Crossbill. We were visiting The Denali national Park area I was with my cousin Daniel in good family friend Jim while exploring the Denali highway when I spotted this beautiful bird and got a few photographs. This Location is very beautiful and see mount Denali off in the distance. The tallest mountain in North America at 20,300 feet

@Chuckinflorida

Another photograph of Denali with the reflection of her majesty next to Lake Kashwitna on the Park highway. I’m only 9 Days away from my trip back to Alaska. Same lake with the beautiful Colors of sunset. #Alaska #travel #Vacation #Nature

@Chuckinflorida

@Chuckinflorida

It Is going to be one week from tomorrow that I fly out to Alaska my first adventure will start on June 30 when My brother-in-law and I will drive 6 Hours to McCarthy Alaska they say just getting there is a adventure in itself. There’s a dirt road that you have to travel on for about 60 miles they say it’s a pretty rough road sometimes they tell you to take all kinds of precautions like extra tire tire repair kit. At one point you come to this one lane bridge that actually…

@Chuckinflorida

Yesterday was a Summer Tanger kind of day this the first time I seen one sitting on the fence. Then I had some blue jays come by and stopped long enough to get a few photographs

@Chuckinflorida

On my way to work I Notice this tree full of birds they are not Little birds but vultures I believe they were waiting for someone to ring the breakfast bell. Unfortunately a deer got hit the night before. I see to many critters hit on the road yesterday I seen a raccoon standing next to one of his family member that was just hit if People would just slow down just a little bit a lot of these Road kills wouldn’t happen.

@Chuckinflorida

It’s not wildlife but it nature while visiting a friend of mine this morning and waiting for him to get back from the bank I visited with some of the cows next to his property. They did get Close enough to touch my hand but that is as close as they would get.

@Chuckinflorida

Exploring the Denali highway it’s Miles and miles of dirt Road with a abundance of beauty and nature. As I was driving I Noticed this bald eagle sitting on this black spruce. I’m getting excited about my up coming trip back to the last frontier known as Alaska. #Nature

@Chuckinflorida

But for now it just the birds I see around here in Florida. BTW I am seeing the hummingbirds visiting my firebush next to my house. This photo was from last still haven’t caught a good photograph of them this year.

@Chuckinflorida

Yesterday Morning I finally got a few photographs that was halfway decent of the hummingbirds that came to visit my fire bush. So I’m off to the Forest back to work only 3 days to the start of my vacation and today is going to be a very hot day. The heat index will be over 100 boy I’m I looking forward to my trip to Alaska.

@Chuckinflorida

After A stifling day the heat index made it to 44.4°C or 112°F around 3:30 PM the clouds rolled in the sky turned dark and it poured rain and cooling the afternoon off. It made my plants happy and I enjoyed the rest of my afternoon.

@Chuckinflorida

Sometimes you catch them perfectly and sometimes you don’t i’ve been working at the certain location in the forest for almost 5 years and I’ve never seen a owl until yesterday. Unfortunately I didn’t have my canon 7D which is a lot faster than the camera I was using and was able to get only one photograph before the mockingbirds chased off to this Great horned owl 🦉 and of course The bird turned its head just as I got a photograph then flew away. Great Morning I’m on…

@Chuckinflorida

We got lucky and received a credit for our hotel room it’s good for two years. We stop at this lake to fill up to containers of water in case we overheated again we used up all the antifreeze. As we were at this lake there was a bad accident a mile or so down the road we had a helicopter flyover didn’t realize it was there to airlift the…
