Recordáis cuando todos los días poníamos fotos de los amaneceres. Por aquel entonces al menos yo subia una foto al día. Ahora parece que no saliese el sol por que ya no lo mostramos tan a menudo; pero si, ahí está en todo su explendor como siempre. Buenos días!!

Hoy ha tocado escursion por A Coruña. Fuimos a ver el aquarium Finisterrae, "a casa dos peixes" como nosotros le llamamos. Impresionantes habitats marinos los que se reproducen allí y en donde podemos encontrar desde medusas hasta tiburones . No os lo perdais si os acercais a estos lares.

Today, August 8, is International Cat Day, or better said, International Cat Day again. And I say again why there are three dates in the year dedicated to this dear friend. February 20 maybe is the saddest since it was chosen in honor of Socks, a cat adopted by the daughter of ex-president Clinton, who was put to sleep on that day in 2009, the kitten was sick. That cat seems to have been very loved by the Americans and that's why, after a decision through social networks, some of the kitten's followers decided to name that day as international cat day. August 8 was chosen by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) because it seems to be the day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere that cats are most likely to be in heat (It should be International Horny Cat Day 😂) And finally, on October 29, we owe it to Collen Paige, an American woman who wanted to raise awareness of the problems faced by cats, especially those living on the streets. We noisers, as you know, celebrate it every Saturday that we renamed #caturday in his honor. Don't let a week go by without thinking about our kitties!!!! It's funny, about two months ago, my friend @XRayMan posted a series of photos dedicated to the statues of the monastery of Alcobaça that represent the four cardinal virtues: justice, prudence, strength and temperance. He did not know and that with those photos he took me out of a mistake I had about four similar statues found in the church of San Fructuoso here in Santiago. The first time I noticed them was years ago when a local guide told me that the statues in question curiously represented the four sticks of the Spanish deck, golds(Oros), swords(espadas), clubs(bastos) and cups(copas). I, ignorant of myself have been left with that explanation until now that I have discovered that in reality statues are also the four virtues, a much more logical thing. In any case, the explanation of the local guide, although incomplete, I do not think is wrong at all, as possibly in the design of the Spanish deck these figures were taken as a reference. Also in the deck of the tarot the 4 virtues are represented with a card each. Thanks @XRayMan (By the way, you still have to upload the last photo.) It's incredible what a small seed can do to a furry golden retriever type dog. In this case, to my dear Casper, who had some wounds that ended up becoming infected with two of these that were stuck in his skin. Thank the god of dogs "San do can"😉 will recover soon

#Italia Sentiero dei limone, en la Costiera Amalfitana. Unas cuantas horas de paseo entre limones, por unos caminos con las mejores vistas de la costa, o casi. El tramo que hicimos fue entre Maiori y Ravello.

Lo bueno de vivir a caballo de dos rias es que cuando te apetece ver el mar en media hora te pones junto a él y consigues desconectar un poco de los quehaceres diarios. Ayer le tocó a la ría de Arousa, esa por la que cuenta la leyenda trajeron el cuerpo del apostol hasta Padrón . Concretamente estuve en una pequeña playa cerquita de Vilagarcía, en plena ruta de los cruceiros, que ya veis, este tiene muy buenas vistas. https://maps.app.goo.gl/q84ybP2XHLkWxAYV9
