Giving Up
As the sun rises in the east The sunlight bather the trees As the leaves slowly dances And the bird landed on the fences I slowly walked at the backyard Moving my footsteps forward Reminiscing the past we shared In this place where everything started A vivid memory flashes Of an empty and broken promises I felt a knife stabbed me repeatedly Sorrow and grieve consume me Turning around, drowning with tears Giving up my fears Giving up my happiness Slowly drowning in emptiness I will own the pain I will savour the sorrow and shame I will let him hurt me Until my love for him gave up completely
