Twitter is preparing for the launch of its Twitter coin and is phasing out tipping through the Lightning Network. What will it look like? My latest article covers that https://ecency.com/hive-167922/@ceekz/twitter-is-launching-its-own

They spanked Zuckerberg, Durov(Telegram) for attempts to do their own crypto. I'm pretty sure Twitter won't be allowed to do that either.
I was thinking the same then again, Elon is the kinda guy who could have his way
Isn't Zuckerberg? Isn't Durov? They all are pretty badass and influential
I wouldn't call Zuckerberg a badass, more like a lapdog for market powers. Durov on the other hand escaped the Russian authorities! 😃Pretty sure we haven't heard the last of him.
I mean more like he doesn't go without a fight. But he was forced to back up. Durov too, even being in Dubai. Elon is in the USA. It will be interesting to watch. I would be surprised if the powers that be let him keep the coin (assuming it's on-chain crypto, not database)
That's a good point about if it's even on-chain. All these guys aren't that pro-crypto and could easily give in to compromise. I remember Jack Dorsey being pretty pro-crypto... wonder what he's doing now?
I think he started a new social media company. Not sure though.
I vaguely remember reading about it too. Cannot remember the company name though.
Jack Dorsey is launching Blue Sky, a decentralized crypto friendly social network. At least that's how he presented it
That's the one, thanks! Have to check out what's it all about.
I think he will probably launch it as a in-app but not Blockchain coin at first. Easy to purchase through Apple & Play store. After all he's aiming the non crypto savvy masses. That partly explains his visit at Apple HQ & how he stopped mentioning Apple Store's 30% fee after.
