Wild mint growing in my screen room. The cats will take a bite of it when they go past the container. I also use this mint in my hot tea, when the weather gets cooler. It is a wild mint I grow year round. It has a nice smell and taste. Always reminds me of my dear grandmother. On her walks in the country, she would pick this mint growing wild and also use it in her tea. Both cats enjoy it a much as I do. I caught the Dude sleeping in the container the other day. I think he enjoys it too. #AlwaysOriginal

Sharing a rose from Dustin's garden. Just went out to check on things and snapped a few rose photos in the evening sun. I never get tired of these blooms. Ruby Spider Lily (Hemerocallis) buds in my front garden. There will be new blooms soon. They are a dark burgundy with yellow. The butterflies love these blooms. In a few weeks the butterflies will arrive hopefully. I have a few flowers waiting on them to enjoy. Buds always remind me of hope. Hope for a better day. #AlwaysOriginal

Raining again this afternoon. Lots of clouds first, then thunder, now rain is falling. Snapped this photo right before the rain started. And now it is still thundering. My cats are still in the screen room. They seem to enjoy the sounds and smells of the rain. I sat out with them until the rain was blowing in and came inside. Male Bluebird in my backyard. Watching the five babies in my bluebird house. They are 18 days old today. Any day now they will be fledging. I hope they will all be safe when they decide to leave. It is such a beautiful process to watch. From nest building to the day when they leave. And the parents will continue feeding for days when they leave. Brendel likes her new box in the screen room. Cats love cardboard so much, you can buy these boxes already made and the bottom makes a good scratching post. The Dude also enjoys it, he is a tight squeeze to fit in this one. The sun was in Brendel's eyes and she could not keep them open for the photo. Hummingbird at my deck feeder. I have seen two so far this year. I hope for more. I only have one feeder up for now. When the bluebird babies fledge, I will put up another feeder. I don't want to disturb them for now. Almost time for them to fly. Funny how the hummingbird will sit out on the bluebird house beside the bluebird. Fleabane weeds in my garden. These tiny blooms are often hard to see in the garden. They are like miniature daisies. Very small. I let them grow as they seem to add a little something to the garden. Weeds are flowers too. I am sure most of you agree. #AlwaysOriginal

Day Lilies starting to bloom in my front garden. The Nandina are evergreen, year round, as well as the holly bushes in the background. Low maintenance garden is the way to go. Happy to see these bright yellow blooms starting to appear. Each day there will be a new bloom. Last week the lilies on the side (in full sun) bloomed. The ones in the front take longer. Probably because they are in partial shade. #AlwaysOriginal

Mints in my blue vase. Waiting on a phone call. Over an hour now. To pass the time I snapped a photo of mints in my blue vase. Sometimes the waiting seems to be the hardest. Hoping my phone will ring soon. In the meantime I gave the birds fresh water and checked on the bluebirds. They are almost ready to fledge. Soon they will be gone. Lantana in my garden. Just made a trip to the local nursery. I have a friend that works there. She lets me know when they get new shipments in. Added some new Lantana to my garden. I cannot get enough of this plant. Butterflies and hummingbirds always enjoy. Now I wait for the butterflies to arrive. Should be soon as the temperatures are starting to heat up. #AlwaysOriginal

Golden Privet blooms inside to enjoy. I shared my huge Privet bush a few days ago. It grows each year and is doing well. I brought a few blooms in to enjoy. Such an amazing fragrance all over my house. Enjoying both outside and inside. The little joys of nature once again. #AlwaysOriginal

Wild Rabbits in my backyard. They are so funny to watch. They stayed like this, facing each other for several minutes. Then one would take off running, the other chasing. I can imagine what all of this behavior means. Maybe baby rabbits soon. Will keep you updated. #AlwaysOriginal

Bluebird babies ten days old today. Their eyes are open now. Most of their blue feathers are visible. They get quiet now when I snap their photo. Being inside the backyard bluebird house hopefully will keep them safe until time for them to fledge. A few more days and they will be gone. So far all five seem very healthy and are being fed by their parents. #AlwaysOriginal

Magnolia blooms in my yard. I have shared the Magnolia tree with you before. I am always amazed at the huge, saucer-sized blooms each year. The shiny dark green leaves are around all year. Another plus about the Magnolia, it is evergreen. Many blooms on the tree this time of year. The birds and the tiny hummingbirds also visit the blooms. Treasures to share with you from my yard. My cat, the Dude, lives up to his name. He really is a dude. He loves sleeping on his back. And he is never far from where I am. Like my shadow. My laptop sits on top of a bar style pub table in my dining room. I can put my feet up on the underneath cabinet built in. The Dude thinks he can do the same. He sleeps often right at my feet. I really do not like to complain. And perhaps this is not a complaint. But maybe a vent. A rant. I know others are experiencing the same issue. And you have for days now. Earnings are at a standstill. Literally. They are not moving. And the crickets are getting louder. This is not a good sign. I have been on many platforms without admins and no support. Things do not tend to go well. Why? Where are you support? Someone has not be manning this ship. I hope to hear something besides crickets soon. I really enjoy this platform.

Golden Privet shrub in my front yard. You can smell the fragrant blooms all over the yard. Bees have started to visit. Butterflies and hummingbirds will be here in a few weeks to enjoy the pollen. I picked a few blooms and brought them inside in a vase. My house smells wonderful. I highly recommend this easy to grow perennial shrub. It is about ten feet tall now. It has reached its maturity. And the foliage is evergreen. Enjoyed year round. #AlwaysOriginal

Brendel curled up asleep in the screen room. Forgot to share her with yesterday's #Caturday photos. Both cats are snoozing as usual. I am able to get more photos of Brendel when she is sleeping. The Dude is beside me snoring away as I type. They are such opposite cats. Never a dull moment. #AlwaysOriginal
