Mockingbirds are amazing to have around. And they can be very loud. So entertaining. They live up tp their name for sure. They can sound just like other birds, sirens, alarms, cell phone rings, and any other noises they hear. They are indeed a mockingbird! Mocking everything. They are very talented actually. And they can be a bully bird at the feeder. But I still enjoy having them around all year. This photo was snapped as a mockingbird visited my patio chair on the deck. By the way, the Mockingbird is the state bird in all of these states: Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas. #AlwaysOriginal #BackyardBirds

Be careful! If one builds a nest in your yard, it will attack you, ("dive bombing"!), if you get too close. One of these birds used to attack our cat!
