Just enjoying some Chinese food at a restaurant near my house. I got out of work about an hour earlier and I decided just to walk to this restaurant. I've ordered takeout several times when I've eaten from this place, but today it is actually open to dine in. For the past couple of years, you can only order food to eat out of this place. One thing I can't help but notice: and the many different locations where I've lived, there's always a Chinese restaurant nearby where I can just walk and order some Chinese food. It's pretty cool and a bit too much of a coincidence, but I feel like there is a reason why I always happen to live close by a chinese restaurant. It is one of the cool things about living in america: you get to try different types of food without having to travel to other countries. But one thing that definitely needs to be considered is that the food can be very drastically different than if it were to be made authentically in the country of origin.
