I had just finished reading another book. Unlike the one that describes the art of war, this one is teaching how to overcome boundaries by learning how to use negative experiences as a reason to continue to seek a positive future. This book was recommended to me by my therapist (thank you Rachael)😊 and I had made promise to a friend of mine that I would finish it so I can talk about it 💕💞 The whole book is very big and was not easy to read in a quick amount of time but it mostly deals with four different types of resilience that can help a person overcome their boundaries: The first one is called relational resilience. It's about learning how to overcome the negative boundaries in order to make the bonds in your relationship with your family and your loved ones stronger. Some examples to help make a strong relationship is to engage emotionally, never take friendship for granted, putting down phones when you are out on dates or out on a family activity, and connecting with something that is bigger than yourself. The other one is called Street resilience. Street resilience is channeling your emotions by guiding them, directing them, and using them for a productive purpose, instead of letting your emotions use you. Such examples of these are: channeling your pain into a good cause, reframe your limitations with potential strengths, focus on what you're doing right, and looking fear into the eye. Third type of resilience is called resource resilience. This type of resilience tabs into the abilities that you have at your disposal in order to get through the special situation in your life. Some of the more detailed examples of resource Brazilians are cultivating a worthy mindset, fight resignation with spontaneity, get some production therapy, and not accepting no. The 4th and final and perhaps the most important type of resilience is called Rock bottom resilience. This is the type of resilience when all hope seems to be lost on whatever situation is going on with your life. Some important factors to make sure that when you are at the lowest part of your life is to remember to: radically accept your circumstance, don't make things worse, go for a small win, tear off labels, discover the power of future promise, and forgiveness because it is the only option. This post would be the size of another book if I would go into even more detail of each of the four types of resilience. Which is why I will go into much further detail with my future posts now that I feel like I have an actual purpose to start posting again because I feel that there are people who could use some support and encouragement. Also, since I enjoyed this book so much I will definitely read it again so that I can continue to allow more positivity in my life.
