Warning: This post contains very sensitive content including a link to a YouTube video of actual murders taking place. I had wanted to show for a while the negative sides of being a gun owner. I want to state that I am a gun owner in America and there are many sides to American citizens like myself on whether or not we should be allowed to own firearms. The pictures are screenshots of a video that shows how anger can escalate to danger. It is about an analysis pertaining to the situation that could have been prevented if it was settled in a more, civilized manner. Two neighbors have been in very, heated arguments in the past and it is mentioned that they had never gotten along with each other. The man who shot the husband and wife is a widowed veteran who is living alone and deals with his neighbors harassing him all the time for a while. Those two had even gone as far to mock the man for losing his wife. At the time of the video, it has escalated to the point when the man snapped, walked back into his house, and proceeded to shoot both of his neighbors with his pistol and then with a rifle. All three ended up dead: the husband and wife were killed on the street while the shooter walked back into his home and took his own life with another gun he had owned. Situations like this can almost happen to everyone when there is someone who is dealing with very horrible people who have nothing better to do than to harass and even abuse others. As someone who occasionally deals with mean people, I cannot help but want to take out my anger the same way. But the most important part of being a gun owner is not only gun safety but trigger discipline. Trigger discipline is having control of stressful situations by not settling them with immediate action with a firearm. What has happened here was not planned or orchestrated but a result of the inability to settle disagreements. There were many different ways these people could have handled their problems but they took a route where they have paid the price for letting their problems escalate without a proper solution. Violence and hatred will NEVER cease to exist. Neither will hope. Link to video: "A Terribly Disturbing Ego Battle" https://youtu.be/Id9pd8zfQcs
