Welcome to the Galloping Ghost Arcade. Also Known as America’s Largest Arcade.
Imagine getting lost in a maze of arcade games knowing that there would be no way you would even have a chance to play all of the selections because the collection is so amazingly enormous. If you ever had a chance to grow up with access to an arcade, you would know that there are always never more than 20 machines unless you go to Chuck E. Cheese. This place, however, would make any arcade you've ever been to be put to shame.
The Galloping Ghost is the largest arcade in America. It is located in the Chicago area in the state of Illinois. According to the website, it currently consists of 816 working arcade games and is always looking to keep expanding its massive collection of classic arcade games.
You may think that the arcade would only have the newest types of games, but the many machines are actually games that have been around for many years. According to Galloping Ghost, the titles range from such classics such as Pac-man and Street Fighter to unheard titles that feature Godzilla and Ninja Baseball Bat Man.
One of the best features about the Galloping Ghost Arcade is that the arcade machines do not require a single token to play. The only charge is a cover entrance fee, but the Galloping Ghost offers memberships that save the local guests more money when they come back for more. The passes range from weekly, yearly, and there is even a lifetime pass that is currently worth a whooping $3,000 USD which gives the pass user some extra benefits given by the Galloping Ghost.
This arcade is a must for all video game geeks to check out if they happen to visit the Chicagoland area.

Bill Gates was Right. We Were Not Prepared for the Pandemic.
One of the most recent outbreaks of viruses was the Ebola virus back around 2014. Only by sheer luck did the Ebola outbreak not reach anywhere as devastating as the current Covid-19 pandemic, but Bill Gates has stated that the next pandemic can and will be worse if we were not ready to tackle it. Except that Bill Gates made this statement a few years before anyone in America would be asked to wear a mask while going out shopping.
The video was posted on April 3rd, 2015. In about four-and-a-half years later, the Covid-19 pandemic had begun. The method of the spread of the virus, the economic losses, the steps that should have been put in the four years before the covid outbreak are all mentioned in the video: and no action was ever taken.
The most infuriating part of all of this is when the time comes for the pandemic to be over. Experts have stated that wearing masks should still be encouraged even after the pandemic comes to an end. However, it is easy to predict that it will not happen. A few months into the year of 2021, the number of cases has dropped very significantly. What also dropped is the number of masks being worn in public. I personally have seen only half of the people in a supermarket have masks on and even though there was a sign that said that masks were required, not one customer was asked to put on a face covering.
People are not just wanting the pandemic to end, people no longer want to wear masks anymore. This situation should have made people understand that we have not been prepared for such a situation, but instead the world is only looking forward to going back to the comfortable pre-pandemic life and pretend that none of this has ever happened.
So basically, **no one** has learned a fucking thing. We don’t deserve you, Bill Gates.
Getting Drunk on Stupid
A sad part of growing up is that there are less things that seem to interest me. I feel that I would get bored easily even if I were to try something new or visit a new place. As a result, drinking is a way for adults (and underage teenagers) to loosen up. Since I abstain from alcohol for personal and health reasons, I have my own alternative of being intoxicated and expressing stupid and obnoxious behavior.
Getting drunk on stupid is basically behaving in a silly way which is doing something that is so stupid that it is funny. So it is basically taking the concept of the film “The Room” and applying it to making a situation joyful out of stupidity.
On Fridays and Saturdays, I frequent a goth club in Salt Lake City. I have been a frequent guest for several weeks and I have noticed that it was getting less interesting than when I first visited the place because it was repetitive having to go back every weekend. One night there were large, black balloons that were being inflated and tossed on the dance floor. I remembered grabbing one of the balloons and started dancing with it. While I was dancing with it, I started to laugh out loud. I was laughing because I realized how incredibly stupid I was feeling about it. And it was not until I realized how my mood shifted from trying to find fun and joy to actually have that feeling of fun that I was searching for. And if you were wondering, I was certain I was getting stares at my incredibly odd behavior but I actually never really noticed or cared if I was embarrassing myself in the public.
A good example of being drunk on stupid a lot of times is during childhood. There was a time when some kids and I happened to have a car tire and we were rolling it across the neighborhood street and cars would honk at us for being reckless kids. I knew that it was very reckless and irresponsible but it was also unforgettable as the memory sticks out like a sore thumb whenever I reminisce about the very rare moments of my childhood.
Sometimes, we feel that we need to do a lot of searching or spending a lot of money in order to find enjoyment. It is about making a moment out of the current situation, even if it means that you would be called a child for being happy for the moment.
