Happy Independence Day Philippines! The Philippines has two independence days. First, the proclamation of our first President Emilio Aguinaldo on June 12, 1898. That was a big event for those who live in that era. We (They) have conquered the Spanish colonization. They fought for our rights and freedom. Today, July 4th was the real independence day when the Philippines was proclaimed by the Americans to be free from their power. Churr. I forgot the history since I am not a student anymore. Though we should put those memories in our hearts and mind. To the student of this era, know the history. Our history. Happy day.
