Two months and two days that I was away. I miss you all. July 4, 2024 July 4, 1946 78 years ago, the Philippines history added its independence on this day. "By the Philippine Independence Act (more popularly known as the "Tydings–McDuffie Act"), in which Filipinos ratified a constitution and voted for independence, President Harry S. Truman issued Proclamation 2695 of July 4, 1946, officially recognizing the independence of the Philippines" I just copied the quoted paragraph from Google, so that every Filipino reading this will know why we have two different independence days. One was June 12, which was the independence day of the Spaniards' colonization of our country. Did I explain it well? 😅😅😅😅
