The Frustrated Fresh Graduates
Interview location: Nervous environment, 2 vacant position and 35+ candidates
Interviewer: well, your grades are quite impressive and you have clear concepts as well. So do you have experience of work earlier?
Candidate: No, actually I am a **fresh graduate** but I have worked as internee in my semester breaks. (seriously, as fresh student how am I supposed to find time for job)
Interviewer: emmm! well we will see if we find any place for fresh candidates but right now we are hiring a 5 or 6 years experienced individual (means you can get out now).
So my read cash family that’s not the case of few individuals but of every fresh graduate, except if someone have strong family background or connections. According to college graduation statistics 2 million (49%) graduates earn bachelor’s degree each year (public universities), think about private one. And Pakistan produces 445,000 graduates each year, though still have low literacy rate. According to DAWN newspaper the unemployment rates among graduate students are 3 times higher than others. In Pakistan hundreds of thousands of graduates are unemployed, an alarming situation having 24% educated unemployed people.
Parents spent their entire life fortunes on universities expensive dues till day of graduation, for this outcome?
Students studied day and night just for grades?
In case a topper gets a job but what about the rest of class, they were not failures, they also compete, what about their future?
All these efforts seem in **VAIN!**
My father told me once that for a job of guard, majority were bachelor’s degree holders, yet they were excused with heavy heart as they only needed high school passed (12th grade). That’s why majority of them shifted to online paid work if they have proper gadget and wifi. Government and Universities responsibility is not just providing education or selling out degrees, is also to provide sources for their career. Some compromise on low wages like labors, some commit suicide due to pressure from family and society, some compromise on jobs totally opposite to their degree education and so on.

Look what they have become!
Well, I am not that old but compared to recent generation, I am a bit old fashioned. The reason I am writing this article is to highlight another harsh reality of modern society. I saw kids yelling at their parents, teenage girls treating their mother like maid, educated young man expecting their father a money machine and many more like that. They are afraid that their parents might not fit in society shoe, and they will be ashamed. So mostly teenagers do not bring any of their parent to their parties, saying that they are old fashioned. They think that their fathers are for earning and mothers for home chores, together they have the responsibility to take care of their child’s every need and wish. But please note that these parents are not allowed to interfere in child’s life like asking that why they are coming home this hour, where they spent their money, why they are not studying etc. It’s ok that you are living in their house, using food and clothes provided by them, spending their money but when it comes to their parental concern, there it seems unjust and interference to you.
So, where all this come from, how all this started? Is it because the more we are becoming advanced the more we are losing manners? Or because our education curriculum instead of teaching moral values and ethics just include how to get job and high position. Another reason might be that parents are so busy for our future that they have no time for our present upbringing. They are happy that their children are moving with the society and competing on high levels, is that enough for their comfort?? They will bring the best tutor for their child, will provide education from top institute but why they forget that home is the first institute for a child, parents are the first teacher. If you don’t have time to shape them, society will raise them according to itself.
As our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said; There is no gift a parent can give his child that is better than good manners.

The UNTOLD Wickedness
Note: The stories I shared are real just with forged names, as I have no intention to highlight them. The only purpose was to expose the evil and its consequences. Before you blame someone just listen them, may be they not what they seems.
Twenty-three-year-old Sapna committed suicide because her boyfriend was harassing her with private pictures. Nadeem quit his education because his teacher was asking for private meetings. Lara run away from home and get married to a boy whom she just knows for one year, after one night stay she was sold to brothel. Twenty-five years old Maheen was raped, so for the sake of honor she was forcedly married to 81 years old man. Adam, a father of two children hanged himself as he was wrongly accused of harassment from her female co-worker. Hayat, a transgender kicked by her parents after they know her identity was later gang raped and now working in whorehouse. 4-year-old Nida was raped by her elderly maternal uncle but as it was the matter of family so they remain silent and covered it nicely. 12 years old Alex was harassed by his own father. I don’t want to mention the country but even a goat was not spared. There are many more happening on daily basis, newspapers are overwhelmed with them but I don’t have the courage to add more examples. Unfortunately, not every story comes public, many just buried with their victims.
These are not just untold stories of few people but are the bitter reality of our society. We cannot blame a particular region or community or gender, it’s the animalistic character of sole individual. That individual has no faith or religion, they are worse than animals, even animals have boundaries. Society and law making agencies should help victims instead of making difficult for them to survive. But the first support should be from parents, they can give punishment if their child has committed adultery or was engage in bad relationship but they aren’t supposed to abandon them. This make their situation worsen and either they became culprit or remain victims for the rest of their life. As far as other matters are concerned like harassment etc. please for the love of God listen to your children, trust their instincts, they are your family. And please those who are mature enough, don’t hide it. Tell your parents, running away from home or suicide is not the only solution. If someone has done bad to you and you are doomed, make sure to take that person along with you as well. No one on this earth will support you or protect you for long time if your family is not behind you.

The Dilemma of Feudalism
Hi, my read cash family. I hope you all are in good health and mood. Today, during Sehri (pre-dawn meal) my aunt shares some stories about our village. A newlywed couple was shot down and their corpse was hanged with a tree for others as a sign of warning. They were accountable for running from home and marriage against their customs. It’s not just one story of any particular remote region, it is the damn feudal system of Pakistan comprising **Tribal leaders** of KPK, **Waderas** of Sindh, **Chowdhury** of Punjab, and **Sardars** of Baluchistan, mostly. Wherever these powerful God complex landowners are reigning over uneducated and miserable poor people, incidents like that happen. It’s a pity that they are still in power show despite social media campaigns and actions taken by the Law enforcement agencies. So my today's topic is to highlight this lethal system, which is not only overbearing in Pakistan but in the whole world where these strange perceptions are enforced.
These powerful feudal lords inherited not only immense wealth but also the legacy of deciding others’ life. They are no different from ancient times' Master/Slave notion, just in today’s modern terms, they are known as village godfathers. From generation to generation their power is passed down and people working under them as laborers are supposed to devote all their life’s important decisions according to their will, if not willingly then by force. Those who tried to raise voices against any injustice were hunted down with the whole family. It is a dilemma that government agencies are still unable to overcome, yet in some areas, they got succeeded but not for a long duration. No one in their areas without their permission can buy lands, build a school or hospital, or even can send their child for higher studies. In a nutshell, they are the law, their land their rules. They are scared of public awareness, the region’s development, and their educated individuals because in that case no one will submit to them and people will solve their matters by themselves. It’s like they want to rule over them and for that, they want to keep them in darkness and poverty so that they can rely only on them.
I know it’s a harsh reality, but there are some good examples as well. In some regions of Punjab and KPK, they are doing much developmental work but just exceptional cases are they.

Young Generation Lovesickness
I was struggling with chopsticks while eating noodles, when my sister’s best friend came. Unintentionally I heard that 9th grade student frustrated voice “no body care about my feelings, even he is ignoring me”. However, I cannot share the whole details which I eavesdrop later intentionally (oops!) but I found few interesting facts on young generation, which I want to share with my read cash family.
So, let’s start with understating todays **LOVE**
Love is a blessing off course not blind but if it’s affecting you, distancing you from your close people and making you idle towards your aims then it’s just sickness (better watch out). Unfortunately, our young people from school level to university level are engross in such sickness. Although that time period is considered the most imperative for making career but except few, mostly just ruined it in affairs. And the interesting fact is they all are doing it knowingly, they gave their time, efforts, and care to a person which just became their part of life few days ago. So from my social network I gathered some opinions based on these questions;
**Despite of so much care from our family and friends why we still thirst for a stranger’s care?**
Our curiosity brings us to new people, especially in case of opposite gender. We want someone to hear us without criticism. The feeling of being loved and cared from opposite gender is thrilling and despite of so much love from family we still feel something missing.
**How that nobody out of sudden became everything to us?**
Spending most of the **time** with that nobody, s**haring** even a minute detail and being **curious** about each other make it everything.
**Why it affects so much, disturbing not only our mental health but later physical health as well?**
We became so much **addicted** that we feel useless and hopeless when we lost contact. It’s like losing something precious, which devastatingly affect our daily routine. When relationship is smooth we behave marvelous to everyone and when its down we want to be alone, not in mood of talk or work.
**Is there any true love or just addiction?**
Indeed, there is true love but if you are **mature enough** to differentiate it from temporary overwhelming relationships.
**Is all this good or a peril to young creative minds?**
Well, dating at young age have been found to impact on both **mental** and **physical** health. It not only affects psychological development but is also linked with behavioral issues, unsatisfactory academic and employment performance. Look around!
