Stay sane
I'm finding being out in the garden is really helpful in taking my attention away from the strains of being stuck at home. I'm weeding, making new vegetable patches, it really is a great way to be out in the fresh air while still being away from the crowds and having something to look at and be proud of a good job when you dug over a new patch or cleared a area of weeds. Stay safe out there people, keep sane.
Animal Fight Club, New game on memo
Edited, some changes in how it will run.
Have a idea for a new game for memo.cash .
First, everyone chooses a animal from, 🐢🐍🐇🐀🐖🐄🐑🐘🐒🐿️🦔🦇🦅🐧🐥🦀
After all animals have been allocated to players entry is closed. They then go into a knockout style tournament so in round 1 everyone gets paired. I make a series of posts on memo like this,
🐌 V 🐿️ (🐌even/🐿️odd)
And we use the tx of that memo post to decide the result , if the first number in the tx is even then 🐌 wins, if it's odd 🐿️ wins. So for example if the tx is "**c7278ba842130fbee11bb18e7014be03596750f41cd5ceaeb175635303a8759c"** Then the first number is 7 so the result is odd
I do this for every pair and the winners go through to round 2 where they will get paired again and the next day, the same odd/even system used to decide the winners of round 2. This process continues untill we are left with 2 animals to fight it out to become Animal Fight Club champion !
The game will run for 4 days (16 animals in first round, 8 in second, 4, and then the final)
A trophy and 3 🍺 for the winner.
The order of who battles who in first round will be done by making a list of entries in the order they enter, so first to enter is first on list and will battle the second player on list, 3rd will battle 4th, 5th will battle 6th ect.
I like doing wacky Racer but you guys have to trust that I do the scores fairly (which I do of course and I hope my reputation and conduct is good enough that you guys trust me) but in Animal Fight Club we can use the random nature of the tx to decide who wins. This is crypto, Don't trust verify :-)
So, what you guys think ?
Low quality articles
It's getting a bit boring.
Read.cash a great place to post up a interesting write up and link too it but as a stand alone site reading new, it kinda sucks due to people just writing low quality uninteresting stuff in the hope of getting 5c.
Never give up on a ambition.
There's a life lesson here.
You may not have accomplished it the first time, you may have to start again from scratch, but with a bit of patience, you can achieve and reach that goal :-)
Top 5 breakfast cereal's in the UK as a late night snack.
1) chocolate Weetabix mini's
2) crunchy nut cornflakes
3) honey nut cheerios
4) cocopops
5) regular cornflakes
Always with cold fresh milk. No semi skimmed, you just as well pour water over em if you using that shite.
Possible solution to the Dev drama ???
Too be honest I've tried to avoid the recent debate over the "tax". I'm not that knowledgeable to be able to offer much in a way of a argument. I'm just a simple user.... One of the most important people in crypto.
I can understand that developers need funding, that seems pretty vital, at this point in time BCH and crypto in general are still in their infancy, investment is needed. Not all development is going to be profitable, infrastructure seldom is.
So where can the funding cone from, in my opinion it should probably come from those that profit most from BCH, usually traders moving large amounts. Now would it be possible to have a sliding scale on fees ? So for example if your transaction is over 10 BCH you pay a additional 1 sat per byte ? The TX is still going to be cheap as chips and insignificant to someone moving 10 BCH but added up they could produce a steady stream to fund development.
I'm sure it sounds much easier than it probably would be to implement but has this idea got any merit ???
🏁 Wacky racer 🏁
A guide to wacky racer, the free to enter and fun to play "race"played on memo.cash (or member if you prefer member )
If you've never played before you need to look out for the entry post made by me, calm_down_stupid, here's a link to my profile https://memo.cash/u/15kFCLPri3
The entry post is usually made a couple days before the race starts, giving you plenty of time to choose your vehicle. It will look something like this, https://memo.cash/a/f76dae4934 you don't have to pick one of the listed "racers" you can choose one of your own if you prefer. Once you have decided which "racer" you would like, post a reply to the entry post with your chosen "racer". I will reply to confirm your entry :-) if your choice has already been taken I will let you know ;-)
At 7pm (GMT)on the Friday entry will close and the race will start.
I will use random.org to generate a number between 1-9 for each entry and once all scores have been calculated I will make a post showing the positions (like this, https://memo.cash/a/8c1beed9df ) and then I will post the individual scores, (like this, https://memo.cash/a/478c4a9bb5 )
This will continue each evening for 1 week. At roughly 7pm each night, I will use random.org to give each "racer" a score between 1-9 which will be added to it's previous score and the updated positions and scores will be posted on memo.
On the final night (which is always the Friday) the final positions and total scores will be posted. The racer with the highest score is the winner !
There is a special WR🏆 SLP token for the winner along with 3 🍺 SLP tokens (probably the best SLP ever created)
Second place gets 2 🍺 and third 1 🍺.
It's a bit of fun and free to enter, if you not already signed up to memo and never played before, come on over and try it out :-)
Racers, start your engines !!
The story of 🍺
The story of 🍺, probably the best SLP ever created.
263 days ago 1000 SLP 🍺 tokens were created via memo.cash, it's a moment that will go down in bitcoin history alongside such other landmark events such as, satoshi disappearing, the BTC/BCH fork and u/bashco banning his millionth user from r/bitcoin.
Why only 1000 🍺's I hear you cry? Well, what's the point of having a gazillion of them ? Why would you want to send a thousand tokens when just one would be so much more meaningful? Having a very limited supply of course makes each individual token much more "valuable" for example on memo SLP market right now spice has a value of 500 satoshi, honk a value of 1 satoshi. Kinda silly if you just wanted to send one !!! 🍺 though is currently 250,000 satoshi meaning sending someone a 🍺 on memo is a very nice way if sending a worthwhile tip :-) and really that's the whole point, it's a appreciation token, something of meaningful value that is easy to send.
"But dude, you have like over 400 of them" sure, of course I do, I made them ! But, if I say so myself, I'm one of the most trustworthy token creators who ever created a token and I'll tell you why...
I only give them away.
When the price of 🍺 started to go crazy I made a memo post, set on the Blockchain for ever, pledge to never sell or profit from 🍺. I watched as it went to 100k, to a million, 10 million, 20million !! And I never sold a single one, just gave em away.
I aim to have distributed every 🍺 by the end of this year. Although the minting Barton is active ( there was no minting batton options when 🍺 was created) you have my word not a single new 🍺 will be created, not even to replace burnt 🍺's.
🍺 is a simple honest token. It doesn't promise dividends or investment in some future project that may or may not happen. I've never said it had a value other than what others wanted to trade it for.
It's simply a great way to reward good content,to say cheers with a beer.
🍺, probably the best SLP ever created :-)
Well that's my first article on read.cash, hope it was ok. If you want a 🍺, I'll send 1 each to the first 5 to reply with a SLP address . Thanks guys :-)
Hello, finally got here...
Have known about read.cash for a while but only just got here to check it out.
Some may recognize my name from memo.cash ( I'm the 🍺 guy who does the wacky Racers :-) or from Reddit ( although on Reddit I'm CDSagain now after Reddit wanted a password I forgot lol)
Good to finally get on read cash, look forward to reading some interesting stuff and meeting old and new friends
Cheers guys :-)
