  FRUIT should always be eaten fresh. It is best eaten as a snack, or before breakfast. It is not recommended in the evening, unless it is the main meal. VEGETABLES can be eaten fresh, as a salad, grilled, blanched (cooked briefly in boiling water), boiled in water or steamed, and can also be consumed as juice. Juices from freshly squeezed vegetables are very healthy, but they must be drunk immediately, because standing changes their quality. Long heat treatment loses quality ingredients from vegetables, so it is recommended to chop it and heat it for a short time. Any vegetables that can be eaten fresh - do not require long-term heat treatment. Legumes (peas, green beans, beans) and tuberous vegetables (potatoes), which are never eaten fresh, need to be thermally processed.
