Do you know I've been working on the same book for twenty years? They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. I don't think I'm insane, but who knows. It all started one night in college when I couldn't sleep. As my roommate slept on the opposite side of the room, I lay there on my extra long twin, thinking about nothing other than the fact that I couldn't sleep. Eventually I thought of this word, which led to another, and the two joined together to form what I thought would make a good title for a book. Then just as suddenly, I thought of the name for a main character, and the combination of the two convinced me I had to write it. But for a long time all I had was a title and a name. I kept trying to come up with a story that would fit but nothing did. Then years later, I discovered this story I thought worthy enough to try and write. But it turns out writing is hard.
