The Wind Blows Regardless- AI has come to Stay There have been a lot of debate on the view of Artificial Intelligence AI, some have been positive while an equal other has been negative. The negative view has always been championed by the notion of putting Human off their jobs - Taking up human place thereby rendering a lot of current workers irrelevant. Other negative view will make you remember the popular movie 🎥 Terminator where machines in human like form took over the world., in the same breathe birth the saying that AI will grow into being Sovereign and unable to be controlled by it’s programmers and from thereafter “Chaos”, funny right… but do they actually have a claim? The Smartness and rapid delivery of the AI is breathtaking, but way more than that its capacities are unimaginably scary. I saw a video Ads made fully on Artificial intelligence and I couldn’t differentiate because it has been so improved, so clear and so human like. Early this year there were a lot of Jobs being done on Ai, and one could tell from the motion, to the animation, to the voicing that this is clearly computerized, nevertheless fast forward to today, those gaps are slowly being closed. All inventions however must be accepted as growth is a constant human thrive, but just as we can see some inventions comes with their downsides which we have no choice but to accommodate alongside. For example- Guns or Fire arms , vital in restoring law and order, Protection and Economic dominance however you can tell the menace it is to the society. Electricity a very deadly energy source, more catastrophic on a yearly account of burns and fire nevertheless it’s the order of a new age, some people will even argue on Television, phones, social media but should be or would be eventually do away with them, NEVER right?? Today you read this article because of a necessary invention accepted by all. In same vein Ai. Let’s talk on the possible downside we are sure to see. Lack of Trust- Scam will so much be on the rise that people will have no way but to learn to combat it and the only way we see is mutiple verification. Imagine for a minute that with the help of AI, someone can make your image turn to a video, write a certain prompt and boom you are there saying things you’ve never said in your life 🤣, these will be so rampant and many will be initial victims until we all lack trust and almost returning to the Stone Age where seeing becomes believing or should I say Physical interaction becomes the new order of business. Extinction of certain Job Roles Your 5 years old son can create whatever it imagines into life, Give you a clearly photo of himself in places he has never see and it comes out perfect. Early detection of how to stay relevant in the coming age is key. Not necessary the need to quit a job, but how to ensure you are still required regardless. This applies to so many job roles including areas you think they won’t because humans never rest till perfection is achieved. Someone somewhere is trying to make robots that can successfully carry out medical operations with accuracy void of human errors, sounds like it won’t be trusted so fast, ok then wait till it has more success rate compared to your trained professionals. Feeling of being Monitored Because the AI is so smart it can pick up emotions, put pieces together and know what you do for work, Know how you reason, know the things you typically search , they can know you better than your partner does. Oh Yes! Currently the Google search knows people more than they partners because people are their true self when alone, when you see that nobody is watching. Many more people will build intimate relationships with their chat box, voluntarily because they have found someone or let me say something that won’t judge then, explore their hidden fantasies and keep it between themselves. indeed will be a new age, a scary time, but nothing replaces Humans, all things are for Humans and Humans will always be the motive behind all things.
