Coffee for COVID-19 Diagnostic Tool
The neuron-boosting, packed with antioxidants, and long cherished **coffee** is now being used as an at-home diagnostic tool in all places of the world to help deter the COVID-19 pandemic. According to a scientific literature and anecdotal advice of their DCN review, there were **dozens of examples of coffee being used as the barometer for a type of COVID-19 sniff-test**, in aspect for its availability in homes all over the world and for its distinct aroma. One of the extensively common symptoms of COVID-19 called **anosmia** has been listed by the CDC and several recent studies show that about 50% to 80% of people who have been tested positive for the virus have experienced anosmia.
According to preliminary research, due to the coffee aroma, the **senses of taste and smell of people suffering from COVID-19-induced anosmia have been fully restored**. Scientists say that the virus may have been affecting the neurons responsible for olfactory connections, although the disease appears more likely only affecting a layer of cells in the nose and can restore within about 14 days.
