I have seen several posts of our Greek colleagues and this has rekindled my longing for this incredible country, Greece! I discovered it in my old age, five years ago and then I believed and promised myself to go there every summer, as long as I can still move. The pandemic has prevented me for the last two years from going there, to my dream island of Thassos. Now I can't wait for this winter that hasn't even started yet to pass and get closer to next summer, maybe next year I'll be able to get to the island again. Until this wish is fulfilled I have to be content with memories...

We all have our own desires of visiting a place that we love during this pandemic but since we cannot let's just do a virtual tour instead to pacify our longing.
Yes, I do a virtual tour using photos I have taken on previous trips.
Greece is a very beautiful country with a rich historical history. Along the way you can stop in my city-Skopje where you can see the Old Bazaar which has remained almost intact since the rule of the Turks.
In fact, Greece has the most impressive history here in Europe. The Balkans is a magical and special place, I am convinced Skopje is worth visiting, and I would like to. Who knows? For me, the shortest way to Greece is through Bulgaria.
