I think seagulls are some of the most greedy birds. Every time I went by ferry I saw these scenes. Feeding seagulls by tourists. Sometimes there were wounds on the fingers ... The seagulls' gratitude to those who fed them didn't make them more delicate in catching prey. In fact, even the tourists didn't act out of I don't know what pity, it was just fun.

Fun indeed :) Yes, they seem to be always hungry :) I once did feed them myself too on a ferry in Greece, to Tassos :) I suppose their big wings do not allow them to be very agile so they bite from time to time :D
Yes, this is the same ferry to Thassos, or from Thassos, I don't remember.
I think the last time I took it from Keramoti. Too bad Greeks allow their government to press medical discrimination allowing only vaccinated people to enter the most of the places. It seems I wouldn't be able to travel soon to Greece again. But that is a good thing as it may open my plans for more exotic destinations :)))
I often see seagulls videos on YouTube and they're sometimes very funny and sometimes appear dangerous... But they're adorable nevertheless
That's what it looks like in the movies, but in reality, they are dangerous birds if they are hungry and you have food in your hand.
