Autumn is a season of abundance. Harvests are harvested, all kinds of fairs and events are organized. On my weekend walk, I saw an autumn fair celebrating the ripening of the grapes and the beginning of winemaking. Wine goes very well with barbecue and potlucks. Food is specific to different regions of the country, from the Danube Delta to Transylvania. This is what happens in Romania.

Looks delicious.
My Grandma loved to cook with log/tree branch, she used to say that it smell good in rice and food. We also had a Japanese friend who used to put coals in his rices, for smell and health purposes too.
I agree with your grandma, smell matters a lot for food.
Bluemoon I also like to know exotic tips for foods like that of a coal thing. Good night.
Glad you're curious and want to learn about new dishes!
