Impatiens with Patience The rain has stopped and so I was able to take photos of our blooming Impatiens and I will share it to you again. Impatiens are flowering plants with more than 1,000 species from the family of Balsaminaceae and common names are touch-me-not, patience, or here we call it Bituing Marikit comparing to a gorgeous, beautiful lady. This plant is very easy to grow but remember even plants need patience too and so do not over-water or dry out them especially if you put them in pots. Just keep them moist but not too wet. And better put them under the shade of trees. When you need a lot of patience, just take a look at this plant that blooms throughout the year for it will surely change your mood. And this is not just a flowering plant, it is also used as herbal remedies for treatment of bee stings and insect bites. It has edible flowers also which can be added to salads or mixed into fancy drinks but I prefer to see them always in bloom than to see it on my plate or drinks. Though I want to try also how it tastes. Some of Impatiens are in double petals but we only have here single petals in two colors in red and one with red and white colour combination. And for more information about this plant, I provided here the Facebook link of my researcher friend who did a favor for me to research about this plant before. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=181040376755215&id=100445284814725
