Berry Happy!? It's summer time, so it's also the time for berries to shine. Mulberry picking again but this time with wild raspberry under the mother tree. Red currant berries on the side are still small so let's wait for another year for them to bear fruits. I planted wild raspberry cuttings last July 2020 and it already bear few fruits last year. And now, some of the fruits were over ripe, some were eaten by birds and so I only have few left to pick. There are still flowers that bloom so after 30 days hoping for more to harvest. Unless my chirping friends and other insects will be the one to see the fruits first. I wanted to go back there and bring a pole with a hook and pull the higher branches to pick more mulberries but I changed my mind, haha! Though it's a few meters away only and don't know yet what to do with these. To eat fresh or bake, for all I want to do now is to sleep. And eat something cold later to beat the summer heat.
