I was not able to witness the rare 5-planet alignment this morning! But it's okay, last April I had the chance to take photos of Jupiter, Venus, Mars, and Saturn's parade, joined by Moon for how many days. This month, Mercury joined Jupiter, Venus, Mars, and Saturn on their rehearsal last June 17 before Moon joined the show this June 24-25. And the last time this alignment happened was in March 5, 1864. Since I did not wake up early this morning to witness the parade of 5 planets (Mars and friends) with Moon, I aligned my DIY hot pads like 5 planets, haha! I made 5 pieces last December 2021 while working online and these were recycled from my old clothes to reduce waste. And like how these planets slowly come into view, one by one before the sunrise, I also made these hot pads one by one before Christmas. I did sewing by hand, that's why I can't finish all in just one day and the stitches were not in the same length and distance apart. Indeed, heaven always amazes us with these astronomical events, especially in these trying times.
